Super 8 by Wyndham League City Kemah Area

It was a great stay just wish there would have been an elevator instead of stairs.

property was clean but a little "older". Most staff were friendly, but only saw two people the 5 days we were there. Had an issue with an item in the room and it was corrected when we returned that evening. All in all, an alright hotel. Close to restaurants, room was clean. If you wanted to entertain, this is not the place, but to lay your head down after a busy day visiting family, this will do fine. The inconvenient part is no elevator. Dont pack heavy!

No elevator at all, and washing machines were dirty and didn't work.

I think it needs to be mentioned there is no elevator at this 2 story hotel. The evening check in person could be friendlier. The morning person was a bit friendlier. I definitely would never stay here again. I was taking a cruise and had large luggage that had to be lugged up the stairs!

Room was nice and clean. It was very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They had breakfast but we did not eat because of time restraint. We did not swim but the pool was indoor and very clean. If my children would have been with us we would have. Definitely will stay again.

Easy parking

Easy access to the Highway. Convenient and walkable dining options surrounding the facility. Only minutes away from the grocery store. The water was hot and had great pressure. The rooms were clean and comfy my daughter said the sheets were cool and fresh. The air conditioning was excellent. Definitely will stay here again. Secure and bright lighting surrounding the parking lot. I would recommend this property to friends and family. A great way to end our end of year vacation!

This place was ok. Super easy to find right off the freeway. Arrived after midnight and the staff was waiting. I’d had a few items sent to the hotel prior to my visit and they had been received and also waiting. Staff was friendly and accommodating, little language barrier but the points got made. Hotel is two story with about 20 rooms on each floor. All rooms are entered from inside the building with entrances at each end of the hotel. There is no elevator to the second floor. Parking lot is very well lit and area surrounding the hotel is more commercial without a bunch of thru traffic. Room was clean and cool. Nothing too fancy but comfortable. Pool was full of water but for some reason, was closed. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Coffee was great, but could have had more of a variety of creamers. There was only wheat bread for toast, 2 kinds of cold cereal and waffles that you cook your self. There was a sign posted that confused me that read, “Do not take food back to your room”. Since I had been eating other food purchased outside of the hotel in my room, I decided to ignore their sign and eat my waffle in my room while I got ready for my day. Would I stay there again? Probably…I pretty much got what I paid for.

Great location and close to the marinas in League City, Kemah and Seabrook. Plenty of shopping and dining options and NASA is very close by. The indoor pool is small but the water was clean.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby and the rooms are clean.

Stayed a week. Housekeeping stayed on top of room care, and very polite. No problems or issues with anything.

Where can I start off stayed here for two nights there were a couple of roaches when I first walked in, noticed on the door and also in the restroom. Also noticed that the toilet wasn’t fully clean the breakfast was so so also the room was quite big, but it could’ve been more maintenance or clean thoroughly because I noticed there was belongings from the previous occupants on top of the microwave, signaling to me that this hotel room was at fully clean or inspected

Service is always great stay here often rooms very clean

This place is an absolute health hazard. Not only did we encounter roaches, but the amount of mold in the bathroom as well as the air conditioning unit is unsafe to inhale even for a short amount of time. The minute we entered the lobby we could smell marijuana and the employee appeared to be under the influence. The hallway smelled like cigarettes, but worst all, when we entered our room we were hit with an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. Luckily we are only there a few hours to sleep before my son’s procedure at the hospital nearby. I would have rather slept in my vehicle than subjected myself and my son to such unhealthy conditions. Do yourself a favor and forego this establishment!

They had Roaches and Bugs in the room. Stinky room like a litter box They gave us another room after I complained. You should not stay here. I should have known. You get what you pay for.

It wasn't so good the last night I was there I was asleep felt something climbing on me it was a cockroach turn on the light the restroom the sink and in the carpet running around about 20 to 25 roaches little ones big one turn on all the lights in the room to see if that would help I should have took some pictures to send you guys next time I'm there I'll make sure I won't stay there

Our room had cockroaches! Turn light on in bathroom and cockroaches everywhere!

I rented two rooms and the truth is I'm disappointed because the rooms have many cockroaches

It was a great stay for us. My kids and I were all happy with the family suite (three queen beds). Not the newest BUT clean and spacious. They also had a futon. Vanity area was great. No bugs ECT. Bathroom was clean. Would come back.

The stay was pleasant.. I was happy to find a place that could hold my entire family in 1 room! I had never experienced a room with 3 queen beds! The breakfast had waffles and assortment of cereal! It was great! The exterior was nice as well as the little garden out by the parking lot. It was fantastic to see while I was walking in the parking lot.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room had perfect space for my family of 5 with 3 beds! Plus plemty of room.

Enjoyed my stay the room was great for my family everyone had their own space! I have never booked a room that had 3 beds if I come back to the area I would book again!

This hotel is great if youre going to be here to sleep and shower. This is not a hotel where you laze about and are comfy just to hang. It was perfect fornus as we just needed a place to sleep, shower end and get ready for our day. The mattress was very thin, but passable and there was no blanket. I always travel with one so that was fine for me, but be prepared. Id 100% stay here again for a short trip where i dont need a room for anything significant.

It’s what you’d expect from a Super 8! It was in a fairly nice neighborhood. It was very convenient that we were able to book a room with three queen beds as a family of 5. Only complaint was the carpet was kind dirty.

Clean easy check in nice staff

Was even harassed about my arrival and he kept trying to charge my card even though I was supposed to pay at location. He called me 5xs!!! Extremely overwhelming!!

Mr. Patel was very courteous and made check in a breeze. The room was so nice and clean as was the rest of the facilities. As an older single lady I felt very safe and will be staying there again as the need arises

Staff were rude when asked about card not opening door , people arguing with manager over issues and nothing was done .

Second time they asked for a credit card. Strange, since paid ahead of time. Staff always friendly, nice, helpful. Clean and quiet. Don’t like the credit card bs.

Amid was very friendly and professional, he took care of us very quickly.

Front desk was a little rude and our first room had a roach crawling across the bed. They moved us but we were no longer comfortable.

It was a good stay Room was clean and staff was nice No complaints The weather was bad that day and I asked about checking in a little early to get us out of the weather Staff allowed us to check in earlier in which we really appreciated with the heavy rain coming. They charged me afterwards for what i still don't know. They weren't pet friendly either.

It was convenient, minus the enormous amount of roadwork in the area and hard to get in and around. However our room was overwhelmed with the scent of ethnic foods, and the window was opened when we arrived (never have been in a hotel that leaves windows open!).

We chose this hotel as a place to stay on our way to Galveston to our cruise. It was much cheaper than places close to the port. Only 30 minute drive to port. Breakfast simple and place was clean.

Nice hot showers The beds were comfortable Breakfast was barely continental no protein. Cracker Barrel walking distance

No elevator was a biggie , morning breakfast was horrible, room smelled really bad .

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND QUIET. BREAKFAST WAS POOR. NOT WELL PRESENTED AND VERY FEW CHOICES. PRICE WAS GOOD.

Decent rooms. Did not see any bugs as are mentioned in other reviews. Staff was not particularly friendly at check in or check out. Breakfast was extremely limited. One waffle iron for whole motel. We gave up waiting after 20 minutes and just went out for breakfast. Lots of other options in the area, would not stay again in future.

Our room was much bigger than we expected as we reserved a studio. Beds were pretty comfortable. Area seemed safe. Very limited options for breakfast but we made it work.

I really didn't like anything but the price, so I got what I paid for... It said breakfast but only have sliced bread, jelly, waffle, OJ stale cereal with milk that tasted nothing like milk and thermos with milk was dirty. I said unsafe because you're supposed to get in on the back side of the building with a card but it's never locked the door has tape so that it never closes I was alone and near them doors so I felt very unsafe and barely slept with people walking back and forth stomping on the floor.... 😡 I called the front desk they tell me nobody is in the room above me but they will check once they hang up 1 minute later the nose stops 😡

Everything went great except the breakfast selections were very limited.
