The property is currently undergoing construction for renovations. The room was outstanding— beautifully decorated and comfortable. Because of the construction, they didn’t offer room service, but the café in the casino served a nice dinner. I would definitely go again.

Recently stayed the night on Monday April first... First disappointing part of this was driving up to the hotel and see the building covered , pool /spa was empty for me huge disappointment and then there wasnt any parking construction site completely taken over the!!!! So we check in hotel was very clean staff was every friendly, so I begin to ask about amenities it states to have but guess what?! They are closed MONDAYS, TUESDAY AND SOME WEDNESDAY! WE TRAVELED WITH OUR KIDS ALONG FOR THESE REASONS... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Long story short Casino was fabulous so many options I enjoyed that part to the fullest.... Was pretty cloudy in there but might've just gotten used to non smoking casino since covid... And last the loud banging early in the morning(with kids) not cool!!!!! Happy birthday to me😐

This was our first stay since the connection was completed and it's beautiful!! It's so much more convenient now, especially getting to the family floor from the casino. Super family friendly resort, tons of fun for all ages! We can't wait to come back again!

I was very impressed with the rooms , they were very spacious and the bedding and pillows were like being at home . The bowling alley , the arcade are fabulous for the younger crowd . Overall this hotel is well maintained.

Stayed with my two younger children with plenty for them to do at the resort. my parents and sibilings families also stayed they were able to accommodate all of us to be right next to each other which was very convenient. Room was very clean and overall very quite 👌 staff was helpful and will definitely be booking again for the summer to be able to enjoy the splash pad with the kiddos.

The pool is great. The people are friendly and helpful. The new and/or remodeled hotel rooms left us baffled. We had a newly renovated room in the old section of the hotel. But there were some very odd and, to us, troublesome interior decoration errors. First, the modern toilet was too low for an older person with bad knees. Also, the automatic toilet kept flushing unexpectedly even when no one was in the bathroom. The shower had no shelf to put your toiletries on. The bed was unusually low. Next time I may ask for an ADA type room.

I didn’t like that I only got two hours sleep due to the people in the room above us. Fighting screaming yelling. I had just traveled from Idaho to Sacramento then drove to the casino. I was exhausted and I was so disappointed that the walls were so thin. Room was extremely clean and beds are very comfortable.

Construction noise until 10p that restarted at 7a. Security was rude about a minor issue. The power went out during check out, so the elevators were down. I asked if I could stay for another night at the same rate, and they told me the rate would almost double from approximately $120 to over $200. So then I had to load out from the second floor with zero help from the bell staff and no elevator.

When I made my reservation, this location came highly recommended. I was unaware that the location is under major construction. It was very difficult to find my way around and even find the entrance to the hotel. I work in the area during the evening and return late and need to sleep during the day. But construction and jackhammers started at 7:30am and did not allow me to sleep. I believe this will be an amazing location when the construction is complete, but until then I will not return. The staff was wonderful and very understanding.

Under construction. Not much signage to find a way to get in the hotel. Couldn’t access casino through hotel which seems so unsafe at night, plus no outside walkways, stairs, gravel walkways, etc. Pulling luggage upstairs and through gravel in the dark, not knowing how to get in to the hotel was not fun for senior citizens!! The receptionist who checked us in was condescending when we told her how difficult it was to find our way around there. Finally….. we were awake early the next morning, but loud construction started before 8:00am. The plus….. the room was clean.

4PM check in But we didn't get a room till 4:30. Check in was chaotic and very slow. Then they could not find my reservation. Check in staff was polite and helpful but they spent way too much time chatting with whoever was checking in.

It is located in a slightly hilly wooded area. There is a gas station "C" store that offers food and beer. An Rv park is on this loaction and is very nice.. The Casino is modern and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. A new waterpark was being constructed during our visit.Sonora is close for shopping.Yosemite is a close scenic drive.A bowling alley and Dining at two locations are your options.This was our second time at Black Oak in six months.

The room was super clean and the bed very comfortable. I loved the fragrance of the bathroom soap and lotion products and was hoping to buy a bottle in the gift shop but it wasn't there. (Whish product line). Much better accommodations than other lodging available at a similar price point. Just don't eat at the cafe - everything was cold and missed the mark! We had a diverse order between adults and kids. The lettuce was soggy on the asian chicken salad. Most of the other orders came with fries and they were all delivered luke warm. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. I could go on but you get it. A very disappointing dining experience to say the least! Maybe the other dining options in the Casino/Hotel are better but we only tried the Cafe.
