Das Art Hotel Ana in Karlsruhe ist ideal für einen Familienurlaub geeignet. Sowohl die Innenstadt mit dem Schloss als auch der sehr schöne Zoo sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Dreibettzimmer sehr geräumig (2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Fernseher, Bad mit Badewanne). Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass es 24/7 Kaffee/Tee gibt, der im Preis enthalten ist. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Okay für einen Städtetrip, relativ sauberes Zimmer, die Einrichtung war zum Teil schon etwas mitgenommen. Das Kinderzimmer ließ sich nicht vollständig verdunkeln, da der Vorhang nicht breit genug war. Frühstück war okay. Positiv ist der den ganzen Tag zugängliche Kaffeeautomat mit wirklich gutem Kaffee!

Wir hatten zu zweit ein kleines Zimmer für eine Nacht (Städtetrip). Dafür war es optimal, zu Fuß sind es 5-10 min in die Stadt. Supermarkt und Restaurants gibt es in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Parken kann man öffentlich vor dem Haus, es gibt sogar einige kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gut ausgestattet (TV, Kühlschrank, Schrank). Bad und Zimmer sind renoviert und modern. Es war ruhig. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht. Das Frühstück war super, Buffet mit allem was man so braucht und mag. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Einziger potentieller Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Haus selbst (Flur, Treppenhaus) schon älter ist, das hat uns aber nicht gestört.

Spacious room with double bed and separate lounge, but furniture and fittings are in dire need of modernisation - the room felt old and tired. Balcony (and bedroom window) faced straight onto hotel restaurant terrace where guest were chatting loudly and there was no privacy. There was neither airconditioning nor a fan in the bedroom despite it being a hot summer's night. There was parking in the deep level garage, but no lift for the baggage. Service was ok but not overly friendly.

In der Preisklasse wirklich gut. Natürlich in die Jahre gekommen, kein Designhotel, aber schöne Lage zwischen Bahnhof, Zoo und Zentrum, ruhig, sauber, nette Leute an der Rezeption.

Egentlig et helt greit hotell. Fin beliggenhet, hyggelige omgivelser, grei frokost. Stort og fint familierom, rene senger og soverom, med litt inngrodd skitt i dusjen og en balkong full av bøss. På årets varmeste dag med 38 grader var det mildt sagt utfordrende å få sove, tror vi fikk låne den siste vifta de hadde - den fikk barna bruke. Kunne gjerne bodd her igjen på gjennomreise, men på et litt kjøligere tid på året.

Das Hotel blieb deutlich unter meinen Erwartungen. Wenn die Toiletten mich unhygienisch empfangen und die Duschkabine Schimmel hat, ist bei mir der Aufenthalt kein guter. Zudem dir Betten hart und als empfindlicher Schläfer war auch das kleine Zimmer mit Dachgaube unterm Dach mit viel Metall auf dem Dach bei prasselndem Regen ein Alptraum.

The hotel staff were friendly amd helpful.Breakfast was quite and nice.The room is spacious.The older part of the hotel is in decent condition,but u can see a lot signs of repairing that wasn't fully done,the cups on the fridge and bathroom had yellow marks and dirt inside,this is a bit uncomfortable to see.....but it's quite and in a good location,we had a great sleep there,that's the most important thing.

Die Zimmer im vorderen Altbau sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten mal renoviert werden. Der hintere Neubau mit den Apartments ist allerdings sehr schön. Das Frühstück ist mit 17,-€ für das überschaubare Angebot ziemlich überteuert.

Excellent facilities (spacey room, excellent shower, wifi, bed). Check in at night found me with an unexpected closed reception and had to call a number to get a code to a locker. It would have been nice to get a reply from my message I sent via Expedia to get the code in advance, as it took an extra 15 minutes to get in the room after a very long drive.

Der Check in hat super geklappt. Wir waren zu früh da und durfte dennoch schon das zimmer beziehen. Der Weg zur Schwarzwaldhalle, in der wir ein Konzert besuchten, war in 10 Minuten Fussweg zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr modern eingerichtet und die Betten sehr bequem. Uns hat es super gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
Der Check in hat super geklappt. Wir waren zu früh da und durfte dennoch schon das zimmer beziehen. Der Weg zur Schwarzwaldhalle, in der wir ein Konzert besuchten, war in 10 Minuten Fussweg zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr modern eingerichtet und die Betten sehr bequem. Uns hat es super gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent facilities (spacey room, excellent shower, wifi, bed). Check in at night found me with an unexpected closed reception and had to call a number to get a code to a locker. It would have been nice to get a reply from my message I sent via Expedia to get the code in advance, as it took an extra 15 minutes to get in the room after a very long drive.

Fantastic service on both English and German, although obviously better in German. Quiet and located in a great area. They were able and willing to accommodate a late arrival although it was not necessary. I struggle to think of anything that could have been different or better, especially for the price. I’m almost disappointed I haven’t tried any other hotels in Karlsruhe, because I will never stay anywhere else when in town. AMERICANS PLEASE NOTE: it is not typical for German buildings to have air conditioning, and I believe this hotel is not an exception. You can limit the amount of heat in your room by closing your black out curtains during the day.

Aufgrund von Personalmangel wurde uns telefonisch mitgeteilt, dass am 13.8.23 von 14:00-22:00 kein persönlicher Ansprechpartner im Hotel sei. Uns wurde daher ein Code mitgeteilt, um bei Ankunft das Hotel betreten zu können. Leider funktionierte bei unserer Ankunft weder der Code, noch war telefonisch Jemand erreichbar. Anderen Gästen erging es ähnlich… Sehr ärgerlich! Um 22:00 konnten wir dann nach stundenlanger Warterei endlich erfolgreich einchecken. Der Mitarbeiter bot uns als Kompensation unserer Unannehmlichkeiten ein kostenfreies Frühstück an. Damit waren wir einverstanden. Ansonsten war das Hotel sauber, das Frühstücksbüfett in Ordnung und die Hotelmitarbeiter *innen freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The hotel staff were friendly amd helpful.Breakfast was quite and nice.The room is spacious.The older part of the hotel is in decent condition,but u can see a lot signs of repairing that wasn't fully done,the cups on the fridge and bathroom had yellow marks and dirt inside,this is a bit uncomfortable to see.....but it's quite and in a good location,we had a great sleep there,that's the most important thing.

Wir hatten zu zweit ein kleines Zimmer für eine Nacht (Städtetrip). Dafür war es optimal, zu Fuß sind es 5-10 min in die Stadt. Supermarkt und Restaurants gibt es in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Parken kann man öffentlich vor dem Haus, es gibt sogar einige kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gut ausgestattet (TV, Kühlschrank, Schrank). Bad und Zimmer sind renoviert und modern. Es war ruhig. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht. Das Frühstück war super, Buffet mit allem was man so braucht und mag. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Einziger potentieller Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Haus selbst (Flur, Treppenhaus) schon älter ist, das hat uns aber nicht gestört.

I lived in this city for long time and I love the location. You can easily walk in the city center. Close to Beirtheimer Allee and Karlsruhe’s beautiful zoo. Groceries and restaurants are easy to access. The hotel and the staff are very nice and polite.

Die Zimmer im vorderen Altbau sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten mal renoviert werden. Der hintere Neubau mit den Apartments ist allerdings sehr schön. Das Frühstück ist mit 17,-€ für das überschaubare Angebot ziemlich überteuert.

Man sieht sofort, dass hier billig renoviert wurde - Boden wohl nur auf den alten Boden aufgeklebt. Es war sehr heiss im Zimmer, wir haben dann festgestellt, dass die Minibar sich sehr erhitzt hat - da fehlt wohl ein Abluft-Schlitz. Das Frühstück war ungeniessbar. Alle Backwaren zu wenig durchgebacken, die Eierspeisen allesamt kalt trotz Wärmehalteschale. Joghurt war um halb zehn leer und wurde nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Einzig der Kaffee war geniessbar.

It was an overnight stop during the trip to Austria. We stayed there on the way there and on the way back because it was the cheapest hotel with breakfast included. Room was big with comfy beds, bathroom could do with updating but at the end of the day we had bath, shower, toilet and hot water so I'm not going to complain... Breakfast was good (decent selection of hot and cold food + good coffee machine). Overall pleasant stay and i will definitely stay there again if the price will be right.... :)

The place would have been ok, but I went when it was 35 degrees out and the room was awful. They had a tiny fan in there but it did nothing. The room was right by the sun so I woke up with sun blaring in my face as I had to sleep with the windows open. I had my dog with me and he was miserable. I ended up leaving to another hotel with air conditioning and that was wonderul. I realized that going forward I will always search for air conditioning. The hotel was not bad, but the fact I had to leave and spend more money elsewhere was a drag.
