The Soco Hotel All-Inclusive

All inclusive ist zu relativieren was das Essen angeht. Alles abgezählt und abgewogen, Speisenauswahl sehr bescheiden, 4 Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge, jeden Tag das gleiche Angebot. Gegen Aufpreis ein surf and turfgericht mit dem zähesten Steak, das ich in über 50 Jahren je auf dem Teller hatte

Bei diesem Hotel kann man Glücksgefühle haben jedoch auch es auch Mankos. Das Personal an der Bar ist mega freundlich. Das Personal am Empfang hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Personal im Restaurant zwischen freundlich und barsch. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist bescheiden und wiederholt sich. Dafür ist die Lage und Aussicht sensationell klasse. Das Meer und der Strand liegen einem zu Füßen. Das hat die all inclusive Mankos weg gemacht. In this hotel you can have feelings of happiness but there are also shortcomings. The staff at the bar is super friendly. The reception staff helpful and friendly. The staff in the restaurant between friendly and harsh. The choice of food is modest and repetitive. But the location and view is sensational great. The sea and the beach are at your feet. That made the all inclusive shortcomings gone.

We enjoyed our stay at the Soco hotel, but there are a few things to take in consideration depending on people’s preferences. It is a very small boutique hotel, that being said there is no entertainment at night and the only bar at the hotel closes at 10:30PM, however they stopped serving at 10:15PM. The clientele is definitely older so that’s something to keep in mind if you are a younger couple. It is a very romantic and quiet hotel. Rooms all have beautiful ocean views, a bit dated, but they are big and spacious. Food is excellent, all meals à la carte which is great for not wasting or overeating. Some of the staff were amazing especially Shane at the bar, but some were nonchalant, a bit dismissive and rude. The beach is stunning, however there is not a lot of space for the beach chairs and they are pretty close together, but you can just walk to other beaches if bothered by it. There’s a nice boardwalk that brings you to other restaurants and beaches which is amazing. Wifi wasn’t great, I’d recommend of getting an ESIM if you need to stay connected or do some work. Check out is at noon and there are no showers in the lobby so if you have a late flight that can be a nuisance, however we were able to get lunch before leaving. Overall we had a great time and weather was amazing so that’s all that mattered!

As an adult hotel we were very disappointed that the bar closed at 10.15pm and no entertainment. The hotel requires a modern ugrade looks tired and worn. Could do with fresh ideas and new furniture. Its in a great spot and the staff are faultess and the food is cooked fresh. We will defiantly visit Barbados again.
