A quirky 1800’s house in a charming little town. Hosts were friendly, accommodating, available! Good meal at the pub across the street on their waterfront deck. Good stop close to Lunenburg. Steps up to our room (we’re in our 70’s) and host jumped in and carried our bags - whew! Would definitely come back.

The Fairmont is a lovely historic property with all of the charm of a period house. I appreciated that pur room was next to a sitting room with a fridge, wine glasses, and napkins. Having a fresh set of towels every day was also greatly appreciated. Thomas and Michael were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was phenomenal, with locally sourced food, and plentiful.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast close to everything. If you have mobility issues, quite a few stairs and steps and we found the tub too high to get in and did not have a grab bar. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we had a nice breakfast.

How’s the resort location I guess you get what you pay for. The entry steps were very uneven but that was balanced by a wonderful breakfast provided by the hosts. The property is self seemed a bit rundown.

Our room (and the whole property) was beautiful and extremely clean, and staff was very hospitable. Breakfast was delicious (especially the banana bread!). This place is cozy, charming, and exceedingly comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

Awesome property! Beautifully maintained!! The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the attached bathroom spacious and clean as well. Breakfast was served in the beautiful dining room and catered to every need and want, from fruits and breads to cereal and pancakes or full traditional bacon/sausage, eggs and toast all made to order. We would certainly stay again when in the area. Highly recommend!

The breakfast choices included a delicious variety of fresh fruit bowls, yogurt (homemade?), fantastic homemade banana bread, juices, caraffe of coffee or teapot, cooked to order eggs, bacon and toast. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. The room was clean, charming and bed /mattress was very comfortable. We had a great sleep. We had a lovely two night stay and will definitely return in the future. A real gem in a lovely town.

Small, historic B&B in a good location. Phenomenal breakfast, hot choices are freshly cooked, lots of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, jams etc. Richard and Thomas are friendly, helpful hosts. The queen room does have a tiny bathroom with a step up to enter, but works fine. It also has a small roof light with no curtain/blind so if light disturbs you, you may want an eyemask

What a lovely B&B in Mahone Bay. Our host, Michael, is extremely thoughtful and went to great lengths to ensure that our stay was simply excellent. The breakfast was phenomenal and included a huge selection of locally sources items. I would highly recommend the Fairmont House to anyone staying in the area.

Really good breakfast. Choice of Homemade frittata, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, toast homemade jams and salsa, fresh fruit, cheeses or all the above. Comfortable beds. Our host Michael did a great job and made us feel at home. Would highly recommend.

The property owners bent over backwards to make us welcome. They loved our small dog. the breakfast was amazing and fresh and they give you a choice of options. I give it a 2 thumbs up 👍👍 the location is great with a view of Mahone Bay.

We loved our stay at Fairmont House B&B! Fantastic staff and service and very convenient location right on waterfront of Mahone Bay. Michael and Thomas serve a delicious breakfast every morning that surpasses any restaurant in the area and the rooms are comfy, clean and have a great view. Highly recommend and we will be back again!
