Booked this hotel on hotels.com. found out after checking in the pool and hot tub we under renovtion in which was not relaied to any of the booking agencies. I would not have staid here. There was no discount given!!! I chose this hotel specifictly because of the amenities, but was shocked there were several not avaliable. This hotel was a little on the high side for haveing no microwave in the room to reheat food. There was no bottled water either, the shower leaked all over the floor. The elevator got stuck and the escalator stopped working. The Red restaurant was very expensive for what we got. There was no dinner rolls or bread offered. Most desterbing thing was we had finished our dinner and was getting ready to leave when another gues thought we didnt have the money for dinner....ha showed them we almost asked if they were going to pay it for us, but walked away from the situation. Dont walk in my shoes you might just get burnt.

Needed a 2nd night booked because i never got a response about my early check in request. Grounds and location were perfect for our stay. Annoyed that there was an obvious water glood (broken sprinkler or something) in parking lot. We were hoping over puddles of water to get to our car each day. Not to mention the waste of water in general. Beds (2 doubles) could be more comfortable. Rooms need some renovations or face lifts. Overall we still really enjoyed the grandness and se lution of the resorts location considering the rougher neighborhoods that surround it. Staff was good. Valley guy or person at the parking podium could have been a little more attentive and taken initiative to approach me as i pulled up. Really wish you offerred room service. Instead of requiring me to order then go down to pick up my food... we will still be back considering all this. Just feedback.

A safe place with history. However, we had experience long wait for the elevator due to 2 out of 3 elevators out due to maintenance. It was very unexpected for the one short night stay while we were there. The inconvenience unfortunately was hard when I was traveling with 2 young kids with luggages taking the stairs after 15 minutes of wait for the service elevator. But the staff was very nice who showed us the service elevator then walked us through the staircase with us. I still appreciate all teh staff’s help.

The room I was in was in okay shape. The wallpaper was peeling, very strange none of the staff noticed. This hotel should consider installing a vending machine with water and soda. I was so thirsty! The staff only offered me to go to the bar which a soda would be $5 to $8 dollars instead of $2.

Pacific Palms is a hidden gem. A relaxing / secluded resort in the middle of Los Angeles County. You won’t believe a place like this exists until you’re there. Amenities are fantastic and the service is great. Relax at the pool, play a round of golf, enjoy some great food/drinks at the Red restaurant. Perfect for a getaway. The view of San Gabrielle Valley is exceptional.

Dirty Shower and blanket. Lots of long hair was found in the shower drain. Also, hair was found on a new blanket. As soon as we checked in we returned to the front desk and asked for our full refund and cancellation. Expedia helped us to receive our full refund.

I would never leave a “poor” to a survey the staff was excellent the entrance and the hotel was well kept very nice. but the rooms were disappointing the bedding was gross nasty sheets and pillows. This was the first time I didn’t bring my own pillow and blanket I was so disappointed. the bathrooms also were disappointing the water didn’t go down in the shower while you showered and the pipes made loud noises when you turn on the sink water. But again beautiful view and the pool area was excellent.

The view from the rooms and property was amazing and the property in general was very nice. I however wish the bathroom was cleaner and also I left the coffee maker cleaner than when I found it. Not sure if they clean it at all. Maybe upgrade the coffee makers.

Nice property good bar and restaurant. The room a bit outdated but the biggest problem I had was the noise in the room. Could barely get to sleep. Every time someone turned a shower you could here it loud running water go through walls. Same with the ac vent. When I tried to check in I was denied even though I was the only person checking in. When I came back later still only person I was given a room that I feel they knew had these issues. I got the feeling this was done because I booked through Expedia and got their rates. Not sure. Nice and safe but staff at reception could be nicer and more accommodating. When I mentioned all the noise no real response.

This used to be a nice hotel, but the service has declined considerably. They overbilled my card and I told the person checking us out about the billing errors. She said she would handle it and she did not follow through. I have spent a week and several calls to resolve this and no one in the accounting department will call me back. The calls go straight to voicemail, and they do not respond to messages. I expect better from this hotel as I have stayed there repeatedly over many years.

There was no service or help from staff. I was charged $320 for deposit and an additional $220 for the night stay. Unreal! I'm still waiting for my deposit to be returned to my account. I called to ask for help but management will not return my call or just ignore my complaints. Never ever doing this again

We were guests of the hotel and arrived late at night on a Saturday night hoping to have dinner. We asked the front desk clerk regarding the restaurant hours and she said that the bar kitchen was open until 11pm. We arrived to the bar at 10:30pm and asked if we could please order food and the bartender said the kitchen was closed. I checked the website and told him that it stated that the closing hours were 10:45pm and he said no and that the kitchen closes at 10pm. We then had to travel 5 miles to find the closest open restaurant. Also The restaurants ladies room was dirty, with urine on the floor and no soap. It was a very disappointing experience.

Pros: price for level of accommodations. Professional and simple check-in experience. Extremely courteous staff though-out establishment. Safe grounds, quiet, with wild life enjoying the grounds (cotton tail bunnies, red breasted robin, etc). Coms: Dining was limited. Beds are on The firm side. Ice isn’t readily available.

The bathroom in our room was terribly small and dated. The view from our room was literally a helicopter landing pad. Not bad - just interesting. We went to the bar and the drinks were good. The lemon drop was in a tiny glass, tasty but tiny. The buffalo chicken tenders were absolutely gross. I asked to have them taken off the bill. You could tell they were previously frozen tenders already fried just with buffalo sauce on them. I took one bite and that was enough. The fries were doable. It's a nice place to hose a banquet. Many rooms to choose from. Charging stations in the lobby. They hold your id if you want to use a bell cart to take your luggage to your room. Staff was efficient and nice.
