Parking area after 10 pm was unsafe. Many people loitering and drinking alcohol near the entrance every night, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I checked out of the hotel at 3am to go to the airport. There were several individuals, speaking English and spanish in the parking lot. I was solo, and can take care of myself. However I did feel uneasy avout it. If my wife and daughter were with me, I would not have liked the situations even more. As of now, I would not allow my wife and daughter to stay there by themselves at your hotel. Also, many guests smoking outside their rooms on the balcony. This I found troublesome having to breath in the second-hand smoke as I walked to and from my room. It also meant that the smoke probably got into the rooms. I think it should be mandatory to smoke downstairs outside in the parking lot away from the building or on the grounds near the green water pool

The staff was nice but the facility need some more up cleaning. The pool looked like a mosquito trap and dirty. The room was really nice but there were burn marks in the sheets. The shower was nice. The hall way was really hot from the air conditioners running with no ventilation. It’s definitely a place I won’t stay again.

This property was in such disrepair that it almost looked abandoned. Our room had a person’s fake nail on the towel shelf. There was no coffee in the room and a coffee dispenser in the lobby but no cups, stir sticks, or condiments. There was no one at the desk at 7:15 AM. At 9:00 AM there still were no coffee supplies. The attendant was smoking a cigarette outside and not paying attention to the desk. When asked for cups, he could not come up with any. The phone in our room did not work. There was peeling paint, holes in the hall ceiling, a place with dripping water from the ceiling when it rained in the lobby, sliding glass doors that were not working so they were left open all night long, and grounds that had tall weeds that made it look deserted. The exterior awnings were in terrible condition and exterior plaster was peeling off the building in several places. I would never consider staying there again! The only plus was that the floors were laminated vinyl and not shag carpet.

The automatic doors were broken so you had to slide them open and shut manually. The hallways were dirty, run down, had shopping carts filled with trash blocking the staiway up. It didn't feel very safe.stairway up

I had no doorknob to bathroom door that didn’t close, tiny soap, had to ask for towels! No handicap rails on steps out front or in lobby! Someone smoking marijuana next door that smelled the whole hallway!! & ice machine out of order! The whole place was a “dump”! Going to turn in to handicap business hotels!!!

Very nice room,bed was nice and comfortable. I was aware it was under construction. Was able to walk out and smoke. Think the housekeepers have rooms on the end. With their chairs, and shopping carts, kinda noisy. Little refer in the air as well. Ice maker was broke. But i slept well, stayed 2 nights.

This is a property that was very high class at one time - but over the decades it has not been maintained well. The room itself was nice as was the lobby and the staff was friendly. The pool was in good shape, but the grounds were full of weeds and the exterior was in poor condition. It was a good value for what we paid - so no complaint. If the property was renovated, it would probably be a center for meetings again since it had three banquet / meeting rooms.

First room we checked into, a flea jumped on me when I sat on the bed. Requested a new room, the gal at the front was extremely friendly and gave us another room. The "new" room was exactly the same, but apparently newer... at least no bugs in that one. Not the highest caliber of people staying there. It was borderline frightening.

Dirty perimeter, the room wasn't clean, very noisy and people hanging out in the parking lot causing commotion. Extremely loud guests next door with hardly any insulation. We were put upstairs which has poor ventilation. All the AC exhausts are bouncing off the cement wall across the hall and the AC is sucking that right back into the room. Went home sick from the stay. Do not recommend.

The service desk person was excellent, rates were cheap. That is where the good stops. Filthy rooms, stains on bed spreads. The towels were dirty and one had Robinson in permanent marker written on it!! We had to go to dollar store and buy pillows, blankets and towels

TBH was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Stains on bed spreads, marks on the walls, etc. A/C controls were so worn I didn’t know what to turn it to.

Stay was good and convenient to the local college we were visiting.Very reasonably priced hotel for the area. Heater did not work and it could not be fixed on the first night and they offered to move us but we didn't want to move; it was tolerable and they did bring us extra blankets. And, on the next day maintenance came in the morning and changed out the whole HVAC unit for us for the second night. We asked for extra towels but could not get even one extra towel.

Nice, clean Inn. The mattresses were super comfy. Close to lots of food, fast and otherwise. The only issue was that husband was kept awake the last night because a guy was outside our second floor room talking on his phone (middle of the night) for a good while. That happens almost everywhere we stay anymore. I don't know what is to be done about it.

The front desk staff were very gracious and helpful to me. The room was adequate for me. Shower was warm enough and I had everything I needed. I slept well. I had a refrigerator for my food with a freezer - worked very well!

The property was great overall. The rooms were clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. For the price, this hotel was well worth the money and we will gladly stay here again. Some things were dated, and there was no elevator to go to the second floor. We had requested the first floor so it wasn’t an issue for us. The pool was centrally located and looked clean. The hotel wasn’t perfect, but the big items for us 1)clean 2)quiet 3) comfy beds 4) affordable were outstanding.

The desk receptionist was friendly. The room was reasonably clean. That was the extent of the good. The furniture is dated and worn. There was a desk but no electrical outlet to plug anything in. There was also no light on or over the desk. There was no port to charge a mobile device. The light on the nightstand did not work.

This is the second time staying here. First time was a king room the bed was comfortable and the bed moved alot, and the tub wouldnt keep water in it. It was a good size room. This time i stayed in a double room itndidnt have much space. The beds was comfortable, the water keep draining from the tub in this room too. I would stay here again.

Had a reservation. No one was at front desk for a good 10 minutes. Check in at 3. I arrived 3:15 rushing to get to a wedding 20 minutes away. They were unable to accommodate my reservation as no rooms were ready I assume because of understaffing. I had to change for the wedding in a bathroom and hope I made it in time. Only redemption was that they allowed me late check out the following morning-which is surely only bc they didn’t have enough staff to even get my room clean til after 3pm Room was clean and all that, no complaints on cleanlines- they only had ALL DAY AFTER CHECK IN TIME to clean it so that makes sense. But outrageous about being unable to check in AT ALL the day prior. Wasn’t able to officially check in until I arrived back at the hotel after the wedding at 1am

The most terrible stay I've ever had in my life! The evening desk clerk looked & acted like a drug addict. He was sloppy, unkept, rotten teeth, long stringy hair, and old clothes. He and I ended up getting into a disagreement about my car being broken down. Although I had booked another night, he ended up calling the police on me and I was arrested for "public intoxication", my car was towed, and my service dog was put in the pound. Absolutely extreme, outrageous, behavior by a desk clerk at a motel. Hotels.com should not allow this property to be listed.

My stay was terrible. The air conditioning didn’t work. When I addressed this with the front desk, he acted annoyed and kept huffing as if I was had inconvenienced him. At 11:10am, the “lady” from the front desk knocked on my door to let me know check-out was at 11am. I literally had my bags in my hand and was about to walk out. The sign in the back of the door said check-out was 12pm. When I went to the front desk, no one was there and I had to wait 15 minutes for the same “lady” to come to the desk. I told her they were in such a rush to get me out, but had made me wait so long at the front desk. Do they not have two employees that can work at the same time? When I mentioned the sign on the back of the door, she very snidely asked if this was an Econolodge. It was not. I would get better treatment at an Econolodge. The hotel itself was beyond gross. Their were wet blankets on the floor to catch the water leaking from the roof. I saw the ceiling was also leaking behind the front desk as they had trash cans to catch the water. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The facility itself is falling apart and the employees are beyond rude and argumentative. STAY AWAY!!!
My stay was terrible. The air conditioning didn’t work. When I addressed this with the front desk, he acted annoyed and kept huffing as if I was had inconvenienced him. At 11:10am, the “lady” from the front desk knocked on my door to let me know check-out was at 11am. I literally had my bags in my hand and was about to walk out. The sign in the back of the door said check-out was 12pm. When I went to the front desk, no one was there and I had to wait 15 minutes for the same “lady” to come to the desk. I told her they were in such a rush to get me out, but had made me wait so long at the front desk. Do they not have two employees that can work at the same time? When I mentioned the sign on the back of the door, she very snidely asked if this was an Econolodge. It was not. I would get better treatment at an Econolodge. The hotel itself was beyond gross. Their were wet blankets on the floor to catch the water leaking from the roof. I saw the ceiling was also leaking behind the front desk as they had trash cans to catch the water. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The facility itself is falling apart and the employees are beyond rude and argumentative. STAY AWAY!!!

Room was comfortable and affordable. They are in the process of remodeling so there were a couple of very small things that we noticed. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Stay was good and convenient to the local college we were visiting.Very reasonably priced hotel for the area. Heater did not work and it could not be fixed on the first night and they offered to move us but we didn't want to move; it was tolerable and they did bring us extra blankets. And, on the next day maintenance came in the morning and changed out the whole HVAC unit for us for the second night. We asked for extra towels but could not get even one extra towel.

Parking area after 10 pm was unsafe. Many people loitering and drinking alcohol near the entrance every night, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I checked out of the hotel at 3am to go to the airport. There were several individuals, speaking English and spanish in the parking lot. I was solo, and can take care of myself. However I did feel uneasy avout it. If my wife and daughter were with me, I would not have liked the situations even more. As of now, I would not allow my wife and daughter to stay there by themselves at your hotel. Also, many guests smoking outside their rooms on the balcony. This I found troublesome having to breath in the second-hand smoke as I walked to and from my room. It also meant that the smoke probably got into the rooms. I think it should be mandatory to smoke downstairs outside in the parking lot away from the building or on the grounds near the green water pool

Everything was great about the location and the property. Only two negatives, one being stairs to get to the room and the extreme heat as you reached the top of those stairs. Not sure where it came from but it was very hot. The room was super clean and set up good. Comfortable beds and extra pillows!! The night desk guy, Brandon?? was very nice and provided good information.

Upon entering our room, we didn’t notice any smell, turned on the AC and left for dinner. Upon our return the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke from the dirty filter. We decided to leave instead of trying to attempt another room considering it was already late and that the source of the smell wouldn’t necessarily be immediately detectable. Let it be known that I myself am a smoker! But the stench of stale smoke is just not something I can endure overnight. I’m sure it would have been even worse for a non smoker. The pleasant staff is the reason for 3 stars otherwise I’d have rated lower. Checkin was pleasant and she was helpful and informative. Hotel located conveniently near plenty of dining options. Room and bathroom were clean in terms of surfaces and linens. No mold in the bathroom. Squeaky uncomfortable beds. I would only recommend this hotel if you are accustomed to being in places where they smoke indoors and need an affordable place to stay for one night.

This property has a lot of potential but the owner is not taking care of it. The room is dirty, I had to do some cleaning before i set my stuff. I'm exaggerating when i say i had to clean, dead bugs on the floor, stained pillow covers. The room set up and furniture are not bad. it was a last minute booking because I wasn't planning to stay extra night in the region but that was my only option after i left the other hotel. Anyway I hope the owner read this comment because really it has a lot of potential, it is close to everything, dinning, shopping and very close to Tusculum University.
