Best Western SeaWorld San Antonio

Pool was dirty, jacuzzi didnt work. Blinds were broken. Staff smelled bad, but they were nice. Many stains all over the room including bathrooms

Good for the price .. So close by Seaworld ! The only unfortunate thing was the Jacuzzi was as cold as the pool.The room was clean & comfortable.

The pool wasn't clean hot tub didn't work hall ways smelted like majuana bed was very hard to sleep on .. floors in room didnt look like they weren't clean properly .. the lobby area was maybe the nices part of the hotel..

I along with 3 other vehicles were broken into overnight. Spoke with Law Enforcement who said this location gets hit with burglaries 2-3 times a month. Staff was apparently not helping LE with camera footage. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I was disappointed first I didn’t get the room I asked for on the first floor. The sheets had stains on them. When we requested new sheets those were also stained. It was a smoke free room that smells of smoke. We had to go by air fresheners. The pool was freezing and the jacuzzi didn’t work at all. There were beer cans floating in the pool and the lever to cut the jacuzzi on was completely broken. It was so bad that we left and didn’t even stay the second day of the vacation.

Elevator didn’t work first night but was fixed the following day .

The pool didnt work, which is bad because i specifically looked for a hotel with a pool. The breakfast area too small. Elevator rug ws wet or dirty and smelled. There was no trash can in the restroom.

This place is very affordable and is located right off the freeway with a very well lit parking lot. It’s a little on the older side, needs a little TLC and a deep cleaning but the rooms were clean and beds were comfy.

Staff was helpful for the most part. Breakfast was set up late. Hallway carpet was dirty to say the least. Rooms were clean but room floors needed cleaning. Parking lot lights didn’t come on until well after dark.

A bit disappointed with the property. While the outside looks great, the inside is not up to date. The room and hallways have an odor, probably from the air conditioning units. It appears the hotel's solution was to put plug-in air freshners that only masked the smell. After a while, the strong scent from these freshners started giving me a headache. The towels and linens are definitely used and should probably be replaced with newer ones. Many of the bed linens had stains and the bath towels were coming apart at the seams. I stayed for three nights and room service never came in to make the bed or restock the room. When I asked why, they said they only had two housekeepers on staff who came in for a few hours during the day and couldn't get to all the rooms. Breakfast options were ok. Waffle maker and fresh fruit were available so I was happy about that. Overall, if it were me, I would stay at another place that is cleaner and more updated.

Room was dirty, hairs on bed linens, stains on sheets and hotel over all was horrible. Carpet floors very dirty with stains.

The rooms have been renovated but it’s all cosmetic. Some of the outlets and lights don’t work, the tv remote works but not for the same tv. Our room seems clean till you look around. The bathtub was dirty with hair and dirt still inside. The mirror was smudge. Some season they use tiny square pillows. The a/c was loud and old with a smell. Honestly, we wouldn’t stay there if it wasn’t for the location.

This property is unsanitary. Our bed was covered in bed bugs! We had to leave ALL our belongings! Everything! It has been over 24 hours and no management has even tried to contact us, yes, holiday weekend but this is not a situation that should be put off till a Monday! CHECK YOUR BEDS! Will never stay at a Best Western again.

The bathroom is in poor condition, with a hole in the wall where the shower head is located. The floor sink is dirty. The sink is clogged or about to be clogged. Blinds are falling apart and don't block all the sunlight. Continental breakfast is dry and unappetizing.

It was horrible. Got in late like 10:30PM there was hair all in the bathroom, and just plan dirty. Wasn’t clean at all

Walls were dirty, floors had hair and were sticky and dirty. Drawers had trash from previous guest. Walls ate thin and the people upstairs walked around all night

Shower was dirty, bugs, towels with hair, toilet with hair. Never going back

Check in was decent,however the room was not cleaned properly . Mainly the toilet was clogged called & even went to front desk & housekeeper to make aware. It was never taken care of. I had to fix the toilet myself. Would up to water in floor, fridge s room was leaking. There were what appeared to be blood stains on floor in between bedding had a couple of stains(possibly rust). There was also hair n the shower and on the sink

Pros- - comfortable bed and pillows - nice seating table beside the window - microwave, coffee and fridge - staff seemed to try to do the best they could with what they had to accommodate Cons- - hallways were filthy - they use two flat sheets to make a duvet cover that does not stay around the comforter. The comforter obviously is used over and over. But it is totally exposed every time you move the covers. I had to wrap the sheets around the duvet multiple times before getting into bed - shower is an old dingy cloth shower curtain - bath towels/wash rage were dingy and brownish colored -breakfast is from 7am to 9am. But ran out of food by 7:30am.

For the most part the stay was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. I usually love to have breakfast at my hotel stay but the food was not great and I'm usually not a picky person. The beds were so small for being queen sized that me & my 5 year old daughter barely fit into them. But the location was beautiful and aside from this I would use them again as the price was decent.

Overall, a good stay. Check-in with a front desk agent upon arrival was pleasant and she was friendly even though it was nearing the end of her shift and she was tired. Thank you for smiling and making me feel comfortable. (just a tad older Hispanic female). Overnight agent was also friendly and helpful. Only problem with this stay was that the toilet in my room (124) did not flush properly and was clogged the entire stay) Luckily, I didn't have any of San Antonio's tacos or enchiladas. I was worried that I was gonna have to poop in the tub or trashcan. Staff tried to find me a plunger but couldn't find one. So I basically had to hold my poop until I checked out and unfortunately I left the housekeeper a gift. I've never had to take such a guilty poo before. I did let her know so she could prepare with the proper PPE before entering. Sorry lady.

To start off the room felt muggy, I went ahead and moved the temperature on the AC got a bit cooler but definitely not the temperature I set it on. The towels look old and definitely need to get upgraded. The tub clogged up every time we showered, we literally had to shake our leg before stepping out of tub, a good 5-6 inches of water would stay before it all would drain. It had never happened before but they charged the room early in the morning way before check in time and when we asked if we could pay with a different card he’s like no it’s already been charged, didn’t want to get into it we had already had a long day we just wanted to check in and shower. The halls were so stuffy it thermostat ready 79 in the halls so it was causing an ugly stinky smell.

We had to change rooms 3 times. room 330 the AC was not working. room 331 was not clean there was stains on the sheets and hair all over the bed. room 329 we walked in on a family sleeping very scary for everyone involved. room 116 the shower was dirty and had hair in it we stayed in that room because it was very late at night and we were so exhausted from driving over 7hrs.

We got to the hotel around 11:30 p.m. The girl at the office that gave us the room was very friendly. When we got to the room the air condition was not working, I called the office and the girl came up with keys for another room and we moved inmediatley. The air condition worked but it was a little noicy and not cold enough. Overal the 3 nigths we stayed there were okay.

The rooms were very clean, but exceptionally small. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the rooms were so small, ever. However, It did do the job, since I only used it for sleeping. The halls to get to the rooms need a good cleaning, stains, and smells on carpets need attention. The breakfast was good and sufficient, I could have wanted bacon instead of sausage, but I guess that’s ok.

Not the best hotel to stay at. One of our reservations was supposed to be for four people and we got a room with a queen bed and a futon that was tops small to fit two people. The other room in our reservation was a queen bed room for two. We had to take a different room with a double bed as the one we had been assigned reeked of marihuana. It was a non-smoking room, but the previous guests had smoked weed and I think the ladies that cleaned the room didn’t report the smoking stink.

Girl, don’t do it… lol. We booked this place completely last min in the middle of lunch at sea world. We were scheduled to leave that day and decided to extend the stay last min since we didn’t want to drive home late. We wanted to stay somewhere more affordable (we were at Courtyard prior to this hotel - great hotel btw) and holy cow were we in for a surprise. This was a first time at a Best Western and never again… yes the outside is decent and the pictures are fabulous but once you go in…. LET ME TELL YOU the lighting just gives you weird vibes and the place was makeup on a pig. It was SO dirty, the front desk feels like you’re inconveniencing them, the lobby is HOT, the carpets in the halls were dirty, our roller curtain was broken so we couldn’t close it at night, our bed spread had stains, the buttons on the ac we’re gone, the room was HUMID, the hotel doesn’t even bother to have shower liners lol, there are only basic channels so if your kids are used to Disney or Netflix they do not offer that… they also do not offer cribs or pack and plays and the walls are THIN! We could hear everyone coming in late hours! Thankfully we were only there overnight! I in no way can recommend this hotel but like they say you get what you pay for we paid very little so we got very little.. hahah Hopefully this feedback helps get the hotel in better shape for their future guests.

My two-night stay at Best Western was unfortunately marred by several significant issues. Upon arrival, while the initial reception was pleasant, the hallway carpet was visibly soiled. Furthermore, the bathroom sink in my room was clogged. While I initially chose not to report these problems, the significant noise emanating from the air conditioning unit severely disrupted our sleep both nights. At check-out, a surprising accusation of doing drugs, We denied this allegation, asserting that we neither use drugs nor smoke. Only after insisting on a room inspection before departure was the charge dropped. This experience was deeply upsetting and I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

Friendly staff and clean room and the location is perfect!

Hotel was very clean staff was friendly and help with any issues right away. The only thing was remote to tv didn’t work but they exchanged it and everything was great.. was nice to get away and enjoy the stay.

The switch rooms several times. The first room was leaking from the faucet in the bathroom, the second room the air condition sounded like the motor of a motorcycle. The towels and all three rooms were dingy and dirty looking. The carpet in the hallways was filthy. The food free breakfast was gross. But the staff was pretty nice

Nice area, convenient to shopping and interstate. During breakfast hours, is first come first serve so I wouldn’t advise sleeping in for a late breakfast. Most options would tend to be gone. Front desk staff is very welcoming, friendly, and courteous. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to family and friends.

Amazing experience everything went smoothly front desk staff were great quick efficient would definately recommend, for sure staying there on all our trips to San Antonio!

Perfect place to stay if you are going to the theme parks! Less than 8-10 mins drive from the hotel to Sea World &

Awesome area where it’s located. Enjoying the view and surroundings. Recommend anyone who wants to stay.👍

I would definitely stay here again if I were going to SeaWorld again just for the convenience factor. Not a bad hotel at all over all.

Hotel was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Location is ideal for anyone wanting to get the experience of San Antonio. Pretty much close to everything using the hwy which is close to the hotel. Very quiet area even with hwy close by.

Really good breakfast and comfortable beds

Staff was not so friendly, breakfast options were horrible there was a limit of food by 7am everything was gone. Juice from the machine taste so bad , school juice boxes taste better. First time at this location and last.

BREAKFAST WAS GONE BY 7AM. NEED TO BE REFILLED FOR LATE COMERS. CONSTANTLY HAVING TO CHASE HOUSEKEEPING TO GET NEW TOWELS AND SUPPLIES.

The staff was not super welcoming. The pillows were tiny and not very supportive. The continental breakfast was mostly cleaned up with almost no food left by 9:00, though breakfast was supposed to be available until 9:30.
