The amenities of The Lodge were great - pool, hot tub, sauna, picnic area on a lake, eating and shopping right next door. They also had a room for reading and/or playing board games insde. We almost had an issue with a backed up toilet on the 1st use, but my daughter went to the front desk and asked for a plunger which they supplied for our use. The bathroom's for public use on the 1st floor also had an odor as we past by them 2x - maybe the same problem as our room?

Very nice stay for snowmobiling. Hot tub felt great. Just needs a little fresh caulk & mold control in the continuously damp areas. That’s always a constant battle.

The bathroom could use some additional cleaning in the toilet and shower. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the lodge type environment. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options including oat milk for those who have dietary restrictions. The location was located near shops, restaurants and right across from the lake. I would recommend it and I would stay again.

I was in town for an event and wish I could have booked an extra night for local sights. The hotel common area and rooms were clean and comfy. The shops behind the hotel provided a good pit stop for light food. There is a restaurant in the common parking lot with additional options nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room was mostly clean. Carpeting edges and under bed were dusty. Plumbing and lights were working. Counters, top surfaces, sink, and tub were clean, as was toilet. Good to go breakfast options. Loved the egg bites and fresh fruit. Paper products were very thin and did not hold up well.

Easy access, big parking lot, loved the shopping next door. Rooms were dirty, bathroom had black mold, child woke up with bites all over her arms and hands. Staff moved us to another room which smelled like cigarette smoke and triggered allergic reaction. If it wasn't for the manager I'd give it 1 star. Manager was very kind and apologetic.

Spacious rooms, very nice staff. All in all very comfortable, quiet, and clean. Popped open my room window to the woods and enjoyed a cool evening. Decent restaurant next door, caterers to our family reunion in n the lodge hall that day, darned good grits. Got my nickle’s worth!

We checked in and once we arrived in our room we could tell it was one that was used for folks that travel with a pet and since my husband is allergic we asked to move. The front desk said no problem and we were assigned a new room. Great experience. This is the 4 or 5th time I have stayed here and have always received great service.

Nice hotel, staff was mot super pleasant but ok. We stayed on a weekend when they were hosting a wedding so the place was packed. The room was ok. Clean but could use an update. Things just looked neglected. A coat of paint would go a long way. But everything was clean. Location is very convenient.

We enjoyed our stay with our 4 year old at the Lodge at Crooked Lake. Our room was clean and I loved the northwoods decor throughout the hotel. The hotel was also quiet which was great! Note the hotel is across a busy street from the lake so not right on the lake. There is a nice park by the lake which is nice. There is also a restaurant and a few shops basically in the parking lot of the hotel- nice and convenient! There is also mini golf within walking distance. Price was reasonable for a Saturday on Labor Day weekend! I’d stay here again!

Showing a bit of wear but still a very nice property. Really like the "Lodge" decor and vibe. Amazing collection of outboard motors throughout the facility. Rooms are spacious and were clean. Free breakfast was okay. Lots of options - nothing served warm unless you heat it up in the microwave. Across the street from Crooked Lake Park which is a great spot to enjoy a picnic and the beach.

Large rooms, clean with very comfortable beds.The vintage fishing gear and outboard boat motors are unique and fun decor in the public areas. The breakfasts were average with everything being pre-packaged and microwaveable.

Hotel was nice. Didn't care for the microwave breakfast too much and the fact that you couldn't get coffee after 9:00 AM. Expedia: Not happy with you. I could have gotten the room $25.00 cheaper with their base rate and veteran discount. I doubt that I will ever use your service again.

The lodge was very clean. Rustic chic. We called it cute, even. The breakfast was the only disappointing factor. Let's call it Covid Chic. Every cooked item was cold, in a baggie, to be heated up. That said, we did did it tasty enough.

It feels a little dated. I am not sure if we just got unlucky because we booked pretty late, but it was rather expensive for what it offered. Pool floor looked patchy (dirty?) Breakfast was strange... prepacked food that needed to be warmed up in a microwave. One microwave and people standing around waiting their turn
