It’s a hotel room. Don’t expect anything more. It’s old and out of date. Ice machine is broken and unplugged. Shower at the pool is cut off and not working. Beds are average at best. Stains in the shower. Still, it was not terrible, just not very good

Right on the beach! Older property, definitely needs some upgrades. But it was very inexpensive and the rooms all look right out on the boardwalk & beach… My room had a fridge, microwave and tv with a ton of channels. It was cool having a porch to sit on to watch the ocean. Bathroom, furniture, bedspread, etc were all old but everything seemed pretty clean. It’s only 3-stories high, so folks passing by can sort of see into your room if you have the curtains open

The air conditioner did not work in the room and the weather was well in the 80's this weekend and all the icemachine on the floors were broken!! There was no ice. The manager said the man that delivers the ice had not came. After checking out I ran into someone else who was staying on the 3rd floor who said his air-condition did not work either and he was uncomfortable and very miserable all night too. Only thing the manager told us was we weren't getting a refund!!

We made a last minute reservation through Expedia and wasn’t sure what to expect. But when we got here, the check-in agent was very nice and kind. We got their last room and we were very overjoyed to find it was an oceanfront room! Our room was clean, neat, and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great and right on the oceanfront. The outside of the hotel was, well, not impressionable, but the clean room and the check-in agent’s kindness has made our stay wonderful! The price was very reasonable too. 🙂. One thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator. I missed this when booking the room. But it was okay for us. I would stay here again.

The hotel room they put me in was dirty. The bed sheets were dirty, the bathroom tub was dirty with mold and mildew, the shower curtain was dirty with hair that wasn't mine all over it, the bathroom sink was stopped up, the floors had hair all over it like from an animal it wasn't vacuumed with food stuck to the carpet and spiders were all over the wall. The ocean view was perfect but when you open the door to the beach bugs will fly in like bees mosquitoes flies it was horrible no screen door just bugs in air. It was dust everywhere I was sneezing cuz of my allergies to dust the dust was visible mold and mildew where the air conditioner fan was there was no heat at night cuz it was cold cuz the temperature went down to 40 something degrees and it was cold and I called the front desk and they said they would send somebody but no one came.

Immediately found cockroach in room while checking bed sheets. Manager offered room next door but still looked dirty and did not want to risk bringing anything back home. Refund refused despite repeated requests from myself and Expedia. Suggest avoiding if possible - nicer hotels available at comparable pricing nearby.

Upon arrival from the parking lot the hotels condions were poor. Rooms on the First Level have bugs bugs and more bugs. The insects were insane. Bedding was soiled. Couldn't stay a night in the facility

Was not impressed with the room at all it had mold in the bathroom, the sheets had stains on them, there were holes in the walls, and the shower leaked. The only good part was the ocean view, not worth the prices that they are charging.

To begin, the television in our room was not functioning, and we were also unable to locate a hairdryer. More concerningly, the cleanliness of our bathroom was unacceptable, as we found pubic and other hair on the shower walls. Furthermore, upon checking the bed, we discovered sand in the sheets, despite the fact that we did not visit the beach during our stay. The presence of sand strongly suggests that the bedding had not been changed after the previous guest. I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk. However, the staff member's response was simply that they would inform housekeeping, without offering any apology or further assistance. We were truly looking forward to a pleasant stay, but the condition of our room and the lack of appropriate response from the front desk were highly unsatisfactory.

The bed sheets were clean but that was it, the room carpet was not vacuumed, the shower has mold, the sink was leaking onto the floor. The toilet seat had terrible cracks on it and a piece on the top where you sit had missing plastic exposing the wood frame of the seat. To open the door to the room and the door to the balcony I had to use my shoulder and almost dislocated my shoulder opening the balcony door. Old doors with rust on them making it difficult to open.

This is probably the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The outer white curtain had crushed insects. The refrigerator had a giant frozen block of ice inside because it hadn't been defrosted. The bathroom fan was covered with mold and dirt. The patio furniture were covered with spilled drinks and cigarette butts.

Beautiful ocean front view, the bed was comfortable, had chairs to sit out on the balcony, the first night the air conditioning would not cool the room, it was set on 50 and it was 96 in the room, it was still almost unbearable the next evening where I had actually considered leaving until another guest told me to take the vent screen out and it would get cooler, that worked and I had to turn it back up because it actually got chilly that night. The ice machine was not working so I had to buy a bag of ice but at least there was a freezer in the fridge. Overall it was a good stay

Over all my stay there was great, though, when I was doing my reservation it was a bit expesive from other hotel and thought it was because it was a pet friendly hotel and didn't mind paying but upon check in had to pay over $110 extra for my pet, the other issue I had with the hotel was, Wi-Fi was not working at all and it didn't for the 3 days I was in, hotel owners need to be more agile in fixing this issue since now a days we work remotely and need Wi-Fi at all times without using our hotpots from our cellphones and be burnable to hackings.
Over all my stay there was great, though, when I was doing my reservation it was a bit expesive from other hotel and thought it was because it was a pet friendly hotel and didn't mind paying but upon check in had to pay over $110 extra for my pet, the other issue I had with the hotel was, Wi-Fi was not working at all and it didn't for the 3 days I was in, hotel owners need to be more agile in fixing this issue since now a days we work remotely and need Wi-Fi at all times without using our hotpots from our cellphones and be burnable to hackings.

There only so much a new layer of paint can do. Tucked between all the bigger hotels is this motel on its last leg. The parking spots are so tiny. Plan to take extra anxiety medications for this one. The lady at check in was pleasant, enough. The curb appeal is less than appealing. The pool is full of sand and in the shade of all the giant buildings surrounding. The stairwells and halways are carpeted, and never seem to get dry or see the light of day. Wet and dingy. The room needed a complete soak in Lysol. The carpet needs to be ripped up. Its dark, the isnt enough lighting. But I'd be terrified to see this place in good lighting. The furniture needs updating, the TV is not smart, the toilet seat was broken and every surface needed wiping down. We did not use the shower, no thank you. The king size bed itself was comfortable, enough. But the pillows for worst than what you would expect from a hospital room. I wouodn't even say, "you get what you pay for." Because we paid $400 for this, one night. And people will keep paying it, bc its available, on the boadwalk and prime location. Nothing will ever get fixed, because why would you, when the rooms are all booked up? This place will become condemned and demolished, a shiney new sonething in its place, soon enough.

It had great beach access but the inside of the room was a different story. The refrigerator had mold in it due to be unplugged. The bed was hard as concrete. Room 115 is what room i was in. They never cleaned room after the 1st night nor did they put any towels or wash cloths for bathroom. Never found ice machine and they said they didnt have the free bicycles. The hotel was okay. I’m a local and have stayed at a lot of the hotels in the area, so I’m used to most of them. There seemed to really only be one guy working there and he was nice, although he didn’t explain the price well enough. I only stayed one night and was told it would be $165, fees included. I even signed for that amount and all. I checked my bank statement later that night and the next morning and was charged $197. When I went to ask him about it he told me he only charged the $165 and to call my bank. So I did, and they said it was something the hotel put a hold on and would release as a security deposit. I completely get that. But TELL ME that so I’m not sitting around wondering why there’s random money leaving my bank account. Other than that, the bed post was sticking out at the bottom a lot and one of my friends hit it pretty bad and got bruised up within hours of us being there, so just be careful of where you walk around the beds.

The stay wasn’t THAT bad. I think the room needs some upgrades and clean a bit. Bugs in the light fixture above the shower, shower curtain rod rusted, a trash can in the bathroom, two dead water roaches under the kitchen sink, the burners on the stove were rusted/dirty, no AC in the bedroom, but two in the living area, burnt outlet in the kitchen by the table, some kind of stain behind the bed on the wall … I was surprise to see that the room had a sofa bed when I was told it was only a room with a queen size bed, the bed wasn’t even a queen size, but maybe a full or double … when I went to go check out I had to call them because the door was locked, he told me to just leave the key outside the main door, didn’t ask for my room number until I asked was I going to be checked out on time to make sure I wouldn’t be charged more, and I slipped the key cards between the door because I didn’t want anyone to steal anything. The pool was nice, but I wish it stayed open a bit longer. … let’s see, the chair in the living area had tears on it, I liked that it had two fans in the room, extra batteries for the remote, utensils and pans to use if needed, the safe was in the room not in the main office like the website says, not enough towels in the room … the parking lot is small and if you have a big vehicle then good luck navigating in a parking lot

It’s a beach front motel with no amenities besides an ocean view. The room I had definitely needed some renovation done to the bathroom. My stay was cool until check out which I thought was 12pm, no it’s 11am sharp. Also if you’re not out the room they try to barge in and put you out, or stand by the door and knock and yell uncontrollably. The first time I stayed here was last year and it was a better experience. This place is basically a low budget motel 6 with a beach front view for $200 a night

The only good thing to be said is, the place is ocean front and centrally located on the boardwalk. First red flag was that my Expedia booking was cancelled by the hotel because I selected book now pay later, and the hotel doesn't honor those type bookings. But I was booked on a Saturday night and vacancies beachfront were slim. Upon check in, walked into the room looking for relief from the near 100 degree heat, and the room is HOT. Despite the thermostat being set at 50, the air rattled pathetically thru the vent. I immediately went to the office, but was rudely informed they didn't take complaints about the air. I personally feel this is unsafe, especially in this heat... and would never have booked had I known I would be forced to roast, or loose out on an over $300 booking with little replacement option... It was an awful stay, entirely too hot to sleep, the sheets felt like hard starched paper, the mattress was old and lumpy, there weren't enough pillows for a king sized bed and the ones that were there were like the air puff like disposable hospital pillows. Half the amenities mentioned on the site are not available, like breakfast, and rental bikes. Never again, and would never recommend.

This was my fourth time staying at this motel and it has just gotten worse every year. The TV was not working properly and they did change our room, which was very inconvenient but at least the TV worked. Paint was peeling badly, mold around the vent and the AC did not work at all. The tub had some kind of stain on the floor, the curtain had some spots that almost looked like blood stains. When leaving on Monday morning after 8am there was no one in the office and we had to just slide the key between the double door. No receipt, no one to express our complaints to. This was the last time I will stay here.

The hotel was okay. I’m a local and have stayed at a lot of the hotels in the area, so I’m used to most of them. There seemed to really only be one guy working there and he was nice, although he didn’t explain the price well enough. I only stayed one night and was told it would be $165, fees included. I even signed for that amount and all. I checked my bank statement later that night and the next morning and was charged $197. When I went to ask him about it he told me he only charged the $165 and to call my bank. So I did, and they said it was something the hotel put a hold on and would release as a security deposit. I completely get that. But TELL ME that so I’m not sitting around wondering why there’s random money leaving my bank account. Other than that, the bed post was sticking out at the bottom a lot and one of my friends hit it pretty bad and got bruised up within hours of us being there, so just be careful of where you walk around the beds.

The first night we encounter a roach crawling on the curtains. Reported to front desk and the woman barely knew what she could do to resolve this matter. Asked if there was some insect spray around and she found a can after about 5 minutes of searching. She, nor the the hotel bothered to follow up on this matter. Housekeeping was nonexistent unless you asked. And then they only replaced towels and emptied trash until you asked them multiple time. They use a leaf blower to sweep out rooms of sand and any other dirt on floor. This management was very non responsive and the night shift woman didn't know anything. No ice machine on facility and was told ice could be purchase at local 7-11 2.5 blocks away as I was told was across street. Piss poor service altogether !!!!

They came up with charges after I paid on Expedia, like a “late check in”, even though it was 1 pm. The back door did not lock properly and had no key for us to lock it. The room was not clean. The only thing that was clean was the sheets. There was sand all over the room. The beds were terrible. Weird stains all over the walls, maybe blood.

Room was dirty. Paint chips and spackle on the floor. It wasn’t vacuumed. Beer cans behind the night stand. I told front desk and they said they would take care of it. Arrived and the manager had already given pur reservation to someone else. The lady at the front desk had to call the manager, then the person they gave our reservation to in order to close out their reservation. 1 ice machine on the second floor, was out of order. Toilet was like a rocking chair. Trash still on the balcony along with a random bed pillow. However, the front desk worker was a pleasure to talk to. Just a reminder, it's not their fault the owners fail to put money towards the property and just pocket the profit.

This hotel was such a great find among the larger hotels. All rooms are beach front. Great sunrise. Couple 100 yards from the Neptune statue which was awesome! I’m sure Virginia Beach is hopping in the summer but off season was relaxing.

The first floor rooms are easy access to a lawn for children or adults to sit and relax if you don't prefer the beach. The lawn is beside the boardwalk and views of the waves are fabulous. The access to restaurants was a plus, too! Short walks to anything!

This property was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! We are all ate up by bed bugs!!!! We were not asked even once if we needed towels, linen changed, trash bags or even the trash taken out! This place doesn’t even have snack or drink machines that the public can use and the staff is so very rude! The hair dryer didn’t even work and the amount of dust and grime that was on everything when we first arrived is just uncalled for! My boyfriend even caught one of the cleaning staff snorting something off of one of the bathroom sinks! Absolutely unacceptable! Do not stay here! It’s a dump!

For the price and location, it was great, but that price comes at some cost. Other guests weren't very respectful when it comes to noise. Door slamming till 3 am, loud radios on the patio/balconies (which are enclosed with brick so it becomes an echo chamber), hoop'n and holler'n all hrs of the night. Me personally, it didnt bother me too much as i used to party, so i get it. Folks just trying to have a good time, indulge in their adult activities and not get jammed up. So, if youre a light, hard to het to sleep sleeper, be prepared. Room was your basic motel room, nothing fancy. Bed kinda sucked, but I've slept on worse. No vending machines on-site, but they do have ice. Small tv, but adequate, with cable. Outlets galore. Clean. Very nice staff and we were allowed a 12pm (late) checkout, which was very cool. You cant beat the view and location though. 50ft from the beach and the bottom floor has a walkout patio. You're right down the way from where they do the beach concert as well, if you're in to that. Bottom line, it aint the Hilton, but that means you can have a good time without the uppity hilton types trying to ruin it either. Expect some ruckus, but please try to have a little respect for others. This will be the only hotel we go to when we travel to the beach. The vibes are right up our alley.

It’s What we call a Hole in the wall But overall your on the beach when you open the back Door & it’s perfect if you only plan 1-2 nights if you wanna save money the front desk area smelled like they never take baths they just wash up & some of the pls be looking at you weird like there waiting on you to leave but overall me & my wife had a beautiful time for just that 1 night

At first I was apprehensive but for my family to have a beachfront hotel that was clean, made me feel better. The only thing was the beds need more cushion, but the fireworks on Saturday night made it better for the kids. Thank you.

It was okay to just have somewhere to lay your head at night. There didnt have a coffee pot in the room. The beds weren't all that great. It was just a metal platform bed with a basic mattress. Small TV and the microwave looked like it had seen better days. Definitely a 2 star hotel but we were busy out doing other things so it wasnt a big deal for us. No breakfast. I do wish I paid attention to that. It was a good view to the beach and it does have a little balcony we would sit and watch the dolphins jump and stuff and people watch.
