Stayed 2 nights

I really wanted to like this place! But unfortunately it had too many problems. Started with being greeted by dead bugs on our beds, then trying to sleep on a rock hard bed. But the most frustrating might have been having to pay for electricity, our included electricity ran out in the model of the night so we woke up freezing and to room temp food in the fridge. On the last night we came home to a leak in the hot water tank and had a wet bathroom, so we had to keep the water turned off (outside) unless we needed to flush the toilet The positive things are the super friendly staff and fun playground go the kids

Stayed 1 night

While in Europe we stayed at 8 different places and this one ranked as one of our worst stays next to the red light district in Hamburg Germany. I would not suggest staying here if you need heat. They only allow 10 units of electricity, and the cabin was not on when we got there. We ended up closing the toilet room door, closing all the blinds and only used the hot plate for a few minutes to heat up soup and used the heat all night. We never turned a light on or charged any electronics etc and used 9.8 units by morning. They are very much a money grab establishment. They had every last cleaning item listed and how much it would cost you if you didn’t do it properly. However it felt as if we were cleaning the winter dust off the place for them. This may be a great place in warmer months when electricity is not needed but being cold all night was not ideal. The worst was no heat in the toilet room and almost freezing temps outside so that seat was cold!!!!!

The hot water system in both the kitchen and bathroom is absolutely pathetic. The water temperature is completely unpredictable—it comes either freezing cold or scalding hot, with no proper regulation. The system they have installed to provide hot water is extremely abnormal and poorly designed, making basic daily use very uncomfortable. This completely ruined the stay. I would not recommend this place.

We had a great stay in one-bedroom house at Jelling Familie Camping. The area is wonderful with so many activities for kids. Short drive to amusement parks.

The cabin was clean and had the essentials. The only inconvenience was the shower was in a public building. I didn’t realize that and there isnt much to be done about it. Just be prepared😄
