The Riad is a beautifully renovated old building inside of the old medina / souq of fes . It is safe and quiet inside which is a huge contrast to the busy noisy street .But I recommend you stay on the upper floors for the most quiet as the downstairs is where you also eat breakfast. The room has lovely running hot water , even on the top floor room where we stayed. The staff are happy to help with anything needed and the breakfast is typical morrocon one , fruit , crepes , coffee etc I would definatly stay here again as the location can not be beaten. Its a few minutes walk from the blue gate and has parking near the less famous gate next to it , you will have to pay uf your are a tourist ..50dh each night.and it is safe

Beautiful riad with traditional tiles in the courtyard in a great location in the old Medina, conveniently located not too far from the Blue Gate. A staff member from the Riad met me outside the gate and escorted me to the Riad, which was arranged with a simple phone call from the taxi driver who took me there from the train station. When I left, the Riad owner escorted me back to the same spot outside the Medina walls and put me in a taxi. I appreciated this level of service, especially because navigating the streets of the old Medina is not easy for tourists. I surely would have gotten lost when I arrived.

We loved our stay here! Everyone was so welcoming and helped us with anything we needed (directions, transportation to airport, getting sim cards). The riad has so much character and was in a great location. The breakfast was wonderful. We also booked a Medina tour through the riad and it was the perfect way to see the Medina.

A very warm welcome and because there was a free room, they moved us to a bigger room. The AC was a welcome relief and we had a great sleep. They organized a guide for us from the official tourism agency and it was a very good tour of the Medina. We don’t have a lot of time which was a shame because the common areas would have been wonderful to sit and relax. A beautiful space to stay and very helpful and friendly staff.

Tatyana is a nice riad with pretty interior design, a convenient location and friendly staff. The manager took an interest in helping us learn more about Moroccan culture and the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

1800 property no elevator, no phones in rooms , has 8 rooms only , no handicap access, standing stairs, horrible, if yo fell down you end up dead or broken,you have to climb 50 stairs to reach you roof top room , I’m 71 years old I can’t climb 50 stairs neither my wife, In case of an emergency you can’t reach no one you have to climb again 50 stand up stairs to go down , as an American our phone will not work , parking is not available in the property, it’s far 17 minutes walking from the property, 3 $ per day you have to pay upfront for your stay , the stairs it fit one person only no one can pass you very narrow, and hard to climb, first night they give us rooftop room next to the terrace, they call it a terrace, every body go up (young teen ages), to smoke every 15 minutes, so we can’t sleep. The road to the property is horrible is narrow and you can’t fit your self with your luggage, tv no instructions in English how to work it out. Second day the manager Mr Mohamed kindly enough he moved us to the first floor after knowing that I have a heard operation , rooms has noooo windows at all, like a prison , I really don’t understand how Expedia agrees to add this property to their list ???? The owner of this property misled the customer and Expedia, 178 reviews totally wrong , that’s what attract me to this property, but I have been miss led , this property is for young teen ages place to sleep, smoke, and cheap. I strongly demand Expedia to compensate me for this horrible .

Friendly and welcoming staff. A beautiful traditional Riad just 5 min walk inside the Blue Gate so you have the medina experience without getting lost. Handy location to catch tour bus. You must be able to climb stairs! My luggage was carried up for me.

Cute pretty classic riad in the middle of the medina but off a side street. Very quiet. Great value for the money. Not too hard to find; good signage at the turnoff from the main walkway of the medina! As with most medina riads, you will need to walk in from the wall gate so be able to manage your luggage. Some steep stairs to rooms. Pleasant continental breakfast, which was even provided to us very early when needed. Host very accessible and helpful. However I would not recommend the guide who was provided by hotel - get one off an internet service. Associated restaurant Mom's Touch was fabulous. Also had a great time with cooking class at Cafe Clock.

Mohammed took me to a great leather shop with much better prices than the tannery. He also showed me an awesome restaurant at the end of the alley with great kabobs and couscous. I will stay there again when I visit Fez again.

とても清潔で、静かで虫も全く居ませんでした！受付の男性はとても親切で、コミュニケーションをたくさん取ってくれます。また、フェズ空港では紙のチケットしか使えないと知らなくて、気づいた時には周りの印刷店が閉まっていた為困っていると、その場で印刷して助けてくれました。とても素敵なホテルなのでオススメです！

Hi, the place is quiet central in old town. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The building itself was also beautiful. We had the golden room. My main complaint was that our room from the day we arrived had a very bad smell. Like old pee or something. I tried to locate the source of it, but couldn’t find it. Maybe the old carpet?? I don’t know. It definitely wasn’t the toilet as I initially thought. That spoiled it sadly.

The riad is near Bab Boujloud (around 200 m after the entrance) It was really clean and nice Mohamed is really friendly and has helped a lot without being intrusive so I really enjoyed my stay here :)

Accueil exceptionnel de Mohamed le propriétaire. Il est venu nous chercher à la place centrale, nous a fourni un paquet d’explications historiques et géographiques de la ville, c’était vraiment chaleureux. Le personnel est super attentionné et sont toujours disponibles pour nous aider. Vraiment exceptionnel. Et très bien situé dans la médina, près de la porte bleue. Chambre très propre et très confortable.
Accueil exceptionnel de Mohamed le propriétaire. Il est venu nous chercher à la place centrale, nous a fourni un paquet d’explications historiques et géographiques de la ville, c’était vraiment chaleureux. Le personnel est super attentionné et sont toujours disponibles pour nous aider. Vraiment exceptionnel. Et très bien situé dans la médina, près de la porte bleue. Chambre très propre et très confortable.

Right in the heart of the medina by the blue gate, the room was a good size wirh a great bathroom and the staff made it such a lovely time, really eager to share knowledge about the area and help you find a good guide. It was a really great mid point for all of the cool spots and the walkability made everything a great time. Absolutely loved this location.

The (I assume it was the) Owner was very nice and helpful. He gave us a map of the area and explained it us and also had a lot of tips for places to go. Very good introduction/explanation of the Medina by the receptionist. My room was nice, nothing to rave about, it was what I expected. Good air conditioning. The wifi connection in our bedroom was poor, so I suggest bringing something to read.

Hotel manager was very helpful. Our room is at the ground floor which is upgraded and it is bigger then expected. Although the place itself has a bit run-down. The air circulation is not good inside the room as there is only a little window facing the hall of the riad. The breakfast was normal considering the price. (A bit disappointed about the orange juice as it is not fresh juice, the lady who served us is very friendly tho)

1800 property no elevator, no phones in rooms , has 8 rooms only , no handicap access, standing stairs, horrible, if yo fell down you end up dead or broken,you have to climb 50 stairs to reach you roof top room , I’m 71 years old I can’t climb 50 stairs neither my wife, In case of an emergency you can’t reach no one you have to climb again 50 stand up stairs to go down , as an American our phone will not work , parking is not available in the property, it’s far 17 minutes walking from the property, 3 $ per day you have to pay upfront for your stay , the stairs it fit one person only no one can pass you very narrow, and hard to climb, first night they give us rooftop room next to the terrace, they call it a terrace, every body go up (young teen ages), to smoke every 15 minutes, so we can’t sleep. The road to the property is horrible is narrow and you can’t fit your self with your luggage, tv no instructions in English how to work it out. Second day the manager Mr Mohamed kindly enough he moved us to the first floor after knowing that I have a heard operation , rooms has noooo windows at all, like a prison , I really don’t understand how Expedia agrees to add this property to their list ???? The owner of this property misled the customer and Expedia, 178 reviews totally wrong , that’s what attract me to this property, but I have been miss led , this property is for young teen ages place to sleep, smoke, and cheap. I strongly demand Expedia to compensate me for this horrible .

Not too hard to find; good signage at the turnoff from the main walkway of the medina! As with most medina riads, you will need to walk in from the wall gate so be able to manage your luggage. Some steep stairs to rooms. Pleasant continental breakfast, which was even provided to us very early when needed. Host very accessible and helpful. However I would not recommend the guide who was provided by hotel - get one off an internet service. Associated restaurant Mom's Touch was fabulous. Also had a great time with cooking class at Cafe Clock.

Right in the heart of the medina by the blue gate, the room was a good size wirh a great bathroom and the staff made it such a lovely time, really eager to share knowledge about the area and help you find a good guide. It was a really great mid point for all of the cool spots and the walkability made everything a great time. Absolutely loved this location.

Beautiful riad with traditional tiles in the courtyard in a great location in the old Medina, conveniently located not too far from the Blue Gate. A staff member from the Riad met me outside the gate and escorted me to the Riad, which was arranged with a simple phone call from the taxi driver who took me there from the train station. When I left, the Riad owner escorted me back to the same spot outside the Medina walls and put me in a taxi. I appreciated this level of service, especially because navigating the streets of the old Medina is not easy for tourists. I surely would have gotten lost when I arrived.

We loved our stay here! Everyone was so welcoming and helped us with anything we needed (directions, transportation to airport, getting sim cards). The riad has so much character and was in a great location. The breakfast was wonderful. We also booked a Medina tour through the riad and it was the perfect way to see the Medina.

A very warm welcome and because there was a free room, they moved us to a bigger room. The AC was a welcome relief and we had a great sleep. They organized a guide for us from the official tourism agency and it was a very good tour of the Medina. We don’t have a lot of time which was a shame because the common areas would have been wonderful to sit and relax. A beautiful space to stay and very helpful and friendly staff.

The riad is near Bab Boujloud (around 200 m after the entrance) It was really clean and nice Mohamed is really friendly and has helped a lot without being intrusive so I really enjoyed my stay here :)

Accueil exceptionnel de Mohamed le propriétaire. Il est venu nous chercher à la place centrale, nous a fourni un paquet d’explications historiques et géographiques de la ville, c’était vraiment chaleureux. Le personnel est super attentionné et sont toujours disponibles pour nous aider. Vraiment exceptionnel. Et très bien situé dans la médina, près de la porte bleue. Chambre très propre et très confortable.

Mohammed took me to a great leather shop with much better prices than the tannery. He also showed me an awesome restaurant at the end of the alley with great kabobs and couscous. I will stay there again when I visit Fez again.

We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and would definitely recommend it to everyone. The Riad offers very nice breakfast, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect, easily reachable when coming by taxi and close to many restaurants.

The Riad is a beautifully renovated old building inside of the old medina / souq of fes . It is safe and quiet inside which is a huge contrast to the busy noisy street .But I recommend you stay on the upper floors for the most quiet as the downstairs is where you also eat breakfast. The room has lovely running hot water , even on the top floor room where we stayed. The staff are happy to help with anything needed and the breakfast is typical morrocon one , fruit , crepes , coffee etc I would definatly stay here again as the location can not be beaten. Its a few minutes walk from the blue gate and has parking near the less famous gate next to it , you will have to pay uf your are a tourist ..50dh each night.and it is safe

Merci à Mohamed et à l'équipe du Riad pour leur accueil chaleureux, tout était parfait. Le Riad est très bien situé et les chambres sont confortables. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et vous aurez le plaisir de le prendre au centre du riad dans un cadre majestueux.

C’est un très bon hébergement, pour une ou deux nuits, pas adapter pour un moyens séjour. Le personnel est très accueillant et agréable. Si vous souhaiter connaître l’histoire du Maroc, Mohammed vous l’expliquera très bien. Idriss et Habiba sont des personnages à connaître également. Très beau cadre. Ce qui m’a manqué le plus : un vrai jus d’oranges pressées le matin. Merci, à tout le personnel et au joli cadre du Riad, très bien situé, près de la porte bleue..

We loved our stay here! Everyone was so welcoming and helped us with anything we needed (directions, transportation to airport, getting sim cards). The riad has so much character and was in a great location. The breakfast was wonderful. We also booked a Medina tour through the riad and it was the perfect way to see the Medina.

Très bon établissement, le personnel est très agréable. Ce qui m’a manqué : un vrai jus d’orange au petit déjeuner ( au pays des oranges)

Cute pretty classic riad in the middle of the medina but off a side street. Very quiet. Great value for the money. Not too hard to find; good signage at the turnoff from the main walkway of the medina! As with most medina riads, you will need to walk in from the wall gate so be able to manage your luggage. Some steep stairs to rooms. Pleasant continental breakfast, which was even provided to us very early when needed. Host very accessible and helpful. However I would not recommend the guide who was provided by hotel - get one off an internet service. Associated restaurant Mom's Touch was fabulous. Also had a great time with cooking class at Cafe Clock.

Wonderful place to stay, very well located, in excellent shape and serving delicious breakfast. The staff is outstanding with recommendations - restaurant, hammam, visits - and super caring while at the same time they give you your space. Perfect professionals!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Le personnel est impeccable. Le manager a été très agréable et nous avons discuté longtemps avec lui. Il nous a appris grandement sur les traditions marocaines et la ville de Fès. L’endroit est magnifique et le déjeuner est typiquement marocain. Les seuls bémols sont que la télé ne fonctionnait pas (probablement notre erreur), même si nous ne l’avons essayé qu’une fois et le balcon pourrait faire bon usage d’un peu plus d’entretien. Autrement, c’était super comme endroit. Je le recommande ! PS: il y a des chambres qui nécessite de monter beaucoup d’escalier, simplement le mentionner dans la réservation et ils pourront vous attribuer une chambre au rez de chaussé.

This Riad is 300 years old and kept in very good condition. Mohammed and Derys are very hospitable managers and helped us a lot. Rooms are decent and for the reasonable price, good value. We recommend this Riad, especially as it's only a few minutes from the Blue Gate.

Our room was perpetually damp. The sheets and the pillow were always damp. The AC seemed to not work or help with the problem (although we didn’t ask about fixing it bc it took a while to realize the problem). The fan in the bathroom didn’t help much either. The room was only turned over once on our last day. Towels were worn out and yellow. The owner was kind of awkward and made some weird comments. The man at reception all the time was very nice and accommodating. The terrace also had no lounge chairs or shade, simply just a couple chairs and tables. Only saving grace is the breakfast which was great (apart from a stray hair found in the food on day 1). The courtyard was very beautiful and the location is very central but quiet.
