Hampton Inn Needles Colorado River

Excellent stay. We had 2 adults and 3 dogs and there were many other dogs staying there too. It was clean quiet and overall excellent. We would go back.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, clean & secure feeling outside, small BBQ area outside. We stay here when traveling as often as we can.

The only issue was the parking. They let trucks with boats trailers take the spaces for vehicles.

For Needles, this was a nice / clean / safe place to stay near several good places to eat. No pool on site - but if you have the time, the river is very close. The staff was super great. Very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very nice, staff was friendly, room was clean but the parking is very tight. Not much parking available.

Many hotels provide an exercise room only for the ability to advertise that they have one. This hotel has an excellent exercise room. Also, everything is quite clean. I enjoyed good oatmeal for breakfast. I wasn’t impressed by nearby restaurants.

New and clean hotel; however, there is no pool. It seems intentionally misleading that there is a photo of a pool on this listing. Biggest complaint was the constant noise from street traffic below. Staff at desk was very polite and friendly.

I know this is a newer location for Needles, but the last couple of times I have stayed here the bathroom floors have been dirty with some kind of sticky, dark goo. I am surprised as the other areas of the room are very clean. Since there is not daily housekeeping unless it is requested 24 hours in advance, this issue does not get addressed unless the guest has cleaning while they are in the room.

Room not ready at check in. Paper thin walls. Room was very dirty. You can tell they do bare minimum cleaning. Bed is very hard and uncomfortable. No extra blanket or pillows in room. Breakfast was okay. Overall it seemed very dingy. We checked out a day a sooner because of the dirty room.

Stay here. This was the clean easy, most spacious, and comfortable room our entire trip. We commend the staff for keeping this site so well maintained and with such friendly efficient staff. Stay here and you will wish all hotel rooms were this nice.

The sheets and towels were clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Typical Hampton Inn breakfast. The room and bathroom looked ok but could use a deep cleaning. The room had a weird smell which was very unpleasant to endure.

The property looks new and clean for the most part. However, when we went to our room and started unpacking things, we noticed that things were not very clean. There was hair in the sink and other places around the bathroom, there was debris on the floor as if it hadn't been vacuumed, and something sticky and gross looking was all over the desk area. We didn't check in until close to midnight and were only staying one night, so we were too exhausted to play the room switching game, assuming any were available.

Beautiful facility. Good bed and pillows. Super clean. Lot’s of grab bars in bathroom for guest’s mobility issues. Great stay.

Das Hotel wirkt sehr neu es hat ein sehr schlechte Management. Das Zimmer war so dreckig, es war das Schmutzigste Hotel auf unsere Reise. Teppich überall Krümel, Haare überall im Zimmer, Spiegel wurden ewig nicht mehr geputzt. Das Bett hat ausgesehen als ob es vom Vorgänger wäre. Wir haben uns nicht wohlfühlen können. Schrecklich.

My bathroom was not properly cleaned.

Our room wasn’t clean. Even though the hotel is new our room already had dirt built up in the bathroom and in the corners. The floors were really dirty with stains, soil, paper and hair left from previous guests. Mirrors, shower wall and other hard surfaces had toothpaste, soap, hair, etc on them. I felt like they had just made the beds, emptied the trash and put in new towels before our stay. I was too tired to complain about this at the time, just needed to sleep after my 8h drive. Breakfast area was very nice and clean, very friendly staff. A real pity with the dirty room.

The facility is newer, very chic/modern retro style. The fitness room is superb-way above average. Room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast offerings and seating area was very nice. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Very new & up to date, but close to the freeway and sometimes one can hear trucks going by.

Mattress was completely uncomfortable; like sleeping on plywood. Hirt for solid week after this stay.

Noisy, noisy, noisy both in and out. Our ac unit sounded like a jet taking off and landing. The fridge was noisy too. The road is busy and next to I40 so traffic all hours that sounds like it’s in your room. Elevators were hot and puddles on the floor, a definite safety issue. Sheets and pillowcases all wrinkled and full of lint, like too many were stuffed in the washer/dryer. We booked because of good reviews, but we won’t stay here again.

Staff, and facilities were great. The issue was i could run the AC/heater in fan only mode. This allowed me to be woken up by the train.

Easy to get too. A tad noisier than the last hotel we stayed at.

Beds are really hard

Clean, comfortable, with smart amenities and style. This was the most restful stop on our entire road trip, hands down!

There was a wide selection of delicious options to choose from. Whether I wanted a freshly made waffle or a plate of scrambled eggs, there was something to satisfy every craving. The quality of the food was excellent, and it was a great way to start the day. The only drawback of my stay was that my room happened to be located next to the ice machine. Arrived at about 11:30PM on 7/19 for check in and was greeted rudely by night shift, this right away ruined the stay.

There was a dirty towel left in our bathtub, hair on the floor, and leaking water coming from the ceiling above the toilet so couldn’t even use the bathroom! Notice it and complained at 830 then a second leak started at 10pm and we didn’t get someone in our room for both leaks till 11pm. We brought our 2 young children so it was very inconvenient for all four of us!

Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

The clerk (woman and I forgot her name) was excellent. She was very friendly and accommodating. Had an issue with my booking through Hotels.com but the clerk was able to straighten out the issue. One of the best motel/hotels clerks I’ve ever dealt with during my years of travel.

I'm a HI fan - I like the bedding and the breakfasts. We pulled in here at 9 pm, having decided last minute to stop. Since the Hilton site was glitchy I made the reservation on Hotels.com. Being a Hilton Honors member, I mentioned that we were HH to Jacinda as we were checking in. She said it didn't matter since we made the reservation on a third party site, so no snack/water bag and she did not attach the stay to our account, which know can be done. I asked her where to park since all of the spots were marked as "clean air" or for Diamond members. She looked at me as if I were stupid and said, "In a spot." I could've done without the attitude from someone who clearly forgot for a moment that she works in hospitality. At any rate, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. John, who checked us out, was really nice. I wouldn't stay here again because of reception we got. There are too many other choices in Needles. Also, the next night we stayed in another Hampton Inn - this time in Santa Fe. Guess what? They were courteous at check in, applied the stay to my Hilton Honors points (even though I had to use Hotels.com again - wifi is spotty in the desert I guess), and gave us a snack bag.

We came in after driving for 16 hours from Texas. The lady at the front desk was amazing. Very kind and very welcoming.. just what we needed after such a long tiring day.

The hotel is great however for some.reason they did not find my reservation when I got to the hotel, it took me 1 hour to solve the issue.

Area was clean but outside noise was loud and busy.

Perfect for a quick stay right off the freeway. Clean, comfortable and a halfway decent breakfast.

Great service and hot breakfast

Staff: every staff member I interacted was super-friendly and helpful. Parking- they let me park right by the entrance, allowing me to check on my u-haul better and feel safer about traveling. Carts for luggage were readily accessible. Room- super clean and modern. Wifi worked great. For 118 degree weather outside, it was nice and cool- not cold- inside. My room faced a highway- no issues with noise at all. Pizza joint a few steps away from the hotel. A little pricey but not bad. And the breakfast spread was standard but great food- eggs, links, potatoes, waffles, fruit and cereal. The coffee station was great. Included a tea area, too. Totally recommended.

The room itself was excellent. It was spacious, but still cozy. The big plus was how clean it all was. We commend the cleaning staff. I have been in many hotels/motels of differing costs and companies. This was super clean. THANK YOU. Breakfast was the usual prepackaged choice. Don't bother with eggs that bad. Better options like pastry or anything else. Fruit was not very fresh either. However, the coffee was not as bad as it could be and it was okay. If stopping in Needles, stay here.
