Clean room, great staff, nice pool. It’s my third year returning to Silks Place Tainan and I plan to return again next year. The facilities are well maintained and service is top notch. I feel at home and also welcomed.

大廳的熊熊真是太吸引小孩的目光，服務人員很貼心幫忙拍照，還有提供氣球轉移小孩注意力，真的非常感謝。房間空間雖然不是非常大，但2大2小也很足夠，一整排的椅子可以讓小孩躺著放空。遊戲室也很玩具，還有遊戲機可以玩，等小孩再大一點再帶他們回來玩。可惜泳池是戶外的，天氣好的時候在外面待個30分鐘就熱到不行，對我來說戶外泳池可能是個缺點。

Lovely large and quiet room, also a big bathroom, Nespresso machine in room, seating bench at window, and small dining table too. TV doesn’t have Netflix but one can stream to it. Gym is lacking reasonable weights and equipment for a 5 star hotel (should be better), but we went to the awesome World Gym a few hundred metres away, cost NTD650 per daily session.

第一次住台南晶英，一開始是為了有小朋友的遊戲室。遊戲室不大但小孩玩得還算開心。住的是海東套房，房間很大很舒服，最令人印象深刻的是早餐，早餐可以選中式或是西式在不同樓層，我們選中式，乍看好像選擇不多，其實非常多樣，尤其是府城小吃好多種，每一份都小小的正好可以每一樣都吃吃看，清蒸肉圓、牛肉湯、肉燥米糕都非常好吃，還有一人一份紅蟳海鮮泡飯！

5連泊しましたが不満はありませんでした。リネン等の交換も2日に一度、タオル類も必要なものだけ交換してもらいましたが水やコーヒー、フルーツの補充もされていて快適に過ごすことが出来ました。ペットボトルの水とは別にエレベーター横に水のサーバーがあり、部屋に置いてあるポットを利用して炭酸水や冷たいお水も不自由なく潤沢にいただけて、飲料水を買いに行く必要がなかったのも有り難かったです。スタッフは皆さん気持ちよくご対応くださり、タクシーを呼んでもらう際にも気持ちよく、何分程度、等の説明も有りました、ホテル前の小さな公園では野生のリスを何度か見かけました。直ぐ隣にMITSUKOSHIがあり便利です。台南を中心に日帰りで、或いは半日で観光地に出掛けるのもとても便利でお勧めできます。大変お世話になりました。有り難うございました。

不提供備品後，整體房價只是越來越高，但清潔越做越差。近幾次入住的房間地板都有前人留下的毛髮，浴室霉斑總是不清潔處理。免治馬桶已經用很爛的規格了，現在是直接故障。噴水停止按鍵整個壞了，導致需要拔插頭才會停止噴水。洗手台排水也阻塞沒處理，表示平常根本沒落實清潔。原本台南出差首選的台南晶英，現在品質直接是其他晶英品牌的最後一名。

Sadly, we probably won’t ever stay with this hotel again. The room isn’t clean. The AC vent and window curtains are full of dust. Worst of all, the room smells like a combination of sewer and night market.

２泊。最初の夜、９階にもかかわらず屋外の音楽がうるさく、毎夜１１時までやっているとのことで、２泊目はバーと反対側の部屋に代えてもらった。また、地下鉄のない台南では、駅前の方が動きやすい。日本人スタッフがおり、タクシーのつかまえかた、高鉄台南駅へのバスの乗り方等、親切に教えてくれて助かった。そうでなければもっと困っていた。台湾人スタッフは英語は話せるが、上手ではない。

Nice clean and spacious room, The location is great to walk to the art center, and lots of nearby historical spots. Their room is very clean and the bed is firm enough. However, there is no working desk inside the room, and no offer of a self served laundry room for long-term travellers. The breakfast buffet isvery high quality. .

I stayed at the 14th floor. The room was spacious and clean! It’s right next to a department store. So very easy for shopping, and has lots of restaurants options in that area. Quiet at night too. I loved all the cute unique decorations too! Overall a nice hotel, would recommend!

I had two rooms for two nights. Hotel is a 4/5, but the inability of the staff to internally communicate a late checkout led to a very negative experience. The night before checkout, I went to the front desk asking if they could accommodate a late checkout. They offered an 1pm for both rooms and I inquired if we could do just one room for 2pm (we were scheduling around my toddlers afternoon nap) and they said it was not a problem. I confirmed this for a second time that evening and confirmed a third time the next day at the checkout if the first room. Then as my toddler was napping they called the room at 1230 asking us to checkout. This woke up my toddler and I went to the front desk to again confirm the 2pm checkout for the fourth time. They apologized for the confusion. Then, my 5th interaction was with a cleaner that unlocked the room door and attempted to enter to clean at 1pm, waking my toddler again. When we finally checked out nothing else was offered and we left with my child in a full tantrum. I expect better from Silks.

We really enjoyed this property. Breakfast buffets were excellent and staff were very helpful, especially Anna on the 14th floor and Jason out front! These two were amazing and their English language skills were especially appreciated!

We got a great reception with tea. They took care of our luggage. The room was clean a modern style. The bathroom has shower and bath. All minibar was included. They had great breakfast buffet. Also the price/ night was good!

從停車場、接待、客房到早餐，無一不是令人滿意又放鬆。特別要稱讚一下這裡的台南風早餐，廚師得知家母吃不慣半熟荷包蛋，還特地請西式早餐部做一分全熟的送上來，另外也一直關心她餐點是否吃得下、有沒有吃飽，服務實在很貼心。牛肉湯用的食材，油花比較多一點，所以沖出來的湯表面稍微油膩一點，但另一方面來說，油花多的肉在熱湯裡可以放比較久而不老不柴。其他還有清蒸肉圓、碗粿、浮水魚羹、杏仁茶等南部常見小吃，雖然份量沒有很多，但已經算是很有誠意了。還有無糖豆漿、醋、鹽、油條、蔥花等，讓客人可以自己調配鹹豆漿來享用。我雖不愛鹹豆漿，但拿油條加在熱熱的杏仁茶中也是很美味，忍不住又續了一碗。

Pros: the rooftop pool was a hit with the kids and great after a hot day of touring the city. There is also a mini kids club with toys. Beds were standard and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is extensive and kids loved the pastries, eggs station and cereals, even marshmallows! Note; No specific gluten free options but lots to choose from eg. Eggs, nice fruits and yogurt so it is fine. Cons: The rooms are OK, fairly clean but not sparkling. I would not consider luxury. Would be a 3 star in North America. The properly seems dated, especially the hallway carpets and stained fabric above the headboards. We booked Silks because it seemed like the highest luxury hotel we could find in Tainan. Coming from a 5 star in Taipei it was a big step down, (which I should have supposed given the price difference). The room service consists of options that are American style chicken BBQ, etc which were inedible. We paid but set them outside due to the smell and informed the kitchen. Tainan seems is fairly small so location is not a major criteria for hotel selection, as everything (even Ten Drums Village) seemed to be 5-20 mins taxi which is very manageable.

First impression of the hotel, it has a beautiful lobby. Room is clean and tastefully decorated. Pool area is nice and clean. Buffet breakfast is scrumptious. Will definitely come back.

Shower and overall water temperature was lukewarm at best but since it was only a one-night stay I just made the best of it. Bedsheets felt a bit scratchy and made it a little difficult to fall asleep but the room was otherwise comfortable. I paid for the breakfast buffet and for the price, was not overly impressed with the food quality or selection. Next time in Tainan, I will go back to my regular hotel (Queena Plaza).
