BALAM Playa - 15Th Ave

Me enoje mucho porque yo cambié la reserva anterior que tenía porque aquí decía que tenía estacionamiento y NO lo tiene, pague un estacionamiento cercano

Centrico, a unos pasos de la 5ta av. Y de la central Ado; en limpiza todo bien, pero la alberca no estaba en servicio como se muestra en las fotos. Y al hacer hacer check out te cobran 100 pesos por cada 15 min. q demores despues de las 12.

No cuenta con estacionamiento, aunque en la aplicacion sale que si tiene estacionamiento ojo no es cierto

Un hotel que anuncia club de playa sin costo y el personal del hotel no tiene ninguna información al respecto. Poder preguntar algo telefónicamente más de lo mismo. Lugar sucio, las toallas estaban de color gris cuando deberían ser blancas. Almohadas terribles muy poco cómodas. Desayuno Deprimente un triste pan y mantequilla o mermelada y un jugo de naranja de bote. Lo único bueno distancia de la playa o quinta avenida o que el agua si sale caliente sin problemas. Estacionamiento en la calle $10 x hora máximo 6 horas de 10 a 22 h luego es gratis.

NO TIENE ESTACIONAMIENTO

En primer lugar muy mal servicio por parte de los empleados, la recepcion es un cuartito afuera del hotel, el lugar sucio, muy desagradable, en el cuarto que estuvimos sentimos mucha inseguridad ya que el hotel esta abierto a cualquier persona que circula por la zona y no cuentan con personal de vigilancia y sin cerrojo por dentro, el beach club no existe como tal asi como lo ponen en su publicidad es un lugar de playa muy feo, muy sucio y no hay las comodidades asi como lo publican. Lo unico bueno fue la ubicacion. No lo recomiendo

The room had very dim light and some of the hallways and stairs were unlit. The pooll was unlit. I told the clerk about the light and he said they were aware. The door to bathroom was off one of the hinges. Toilet barely flushed. I had to use a bucket. I would not go there again

Decia que hay estacionamiento y no habia

No me gusto el hotel. La alberca siempre estaba sucia, pero el personal siempre fue muy amable.

Las fotos que estan en la aplicacion no son reales, nada que ver con la realidad, el lugar esta sucio y viejo donde hasta pulgas y chinches hay en las camas No me pude quedar allí y me fui y ahora hoteles.com se quiere quedar con mi dinero, yo pagué a la aplicación de hoteles.com y no me quieren devolver mi dinero. Son los responsables de verificar que los lugares que tienen en su pagina esten aptos para dormir Exijo mi devolución ya que hasta tuve que gastar dinero n medicinas para las picaduras de las pulgas y chinches

Se entrego el refrigerador sucio, solo un pequeño jabón para 4 personas, la persona en el check- out no estaba, se dejó la llave de la habitación con la limpieza, llegando te dicen que si se rompe y ensucia la toalla se paga extra( toalla con un hueco, se reportó para tener conocimiento), al sentarse en el baño la taza se movía, ( igual se dijo para evitar algún pago sin haber causado algún daño), para rematar al llegar se va la luz (llegue como a las 12am) y nunca regreso( ok aunque no esté en sus manos pues se durmió con calor) te dicen que se 8 a 10 habrá un desayuno incluido continental (pan,café y jugo), llegando el encargado me dijo de 8:30 a 10, no se dio dicho desayuno y el estacionamiento al aire libre que dicen contar, es el parking de enfrente, y tienes que buscar por tu cuenta ( no cuentan con estacionamiento) , me quise bañar y se fue el agua, la piscina con agua turbia. Pésimo servicio, no recomiendo.

Todas las paredes estaban llebas de moho, lo reporté pero dijeron que no tenian otra habitación, no dormí en ese lugar debido a las condiciones. Fue mala mi experiencia

La habitación no es lo que se ofrece por medio de esta aplicación, no tenía secadora de cabello, la regadera no tenía puerta así que toda el agua se salía, no había un tapetito para secarse los pies, en 7 días de estancia jamás hicieron la limpieza de la habitación, al informar esto en recepción, me dijeron q tenía q solicitarla, lo hice y aun así jamás la hicieron, por lo tanto ahí estuvo la basura de 7 días, porque obviamente tampoco la sacaron, se acabo el papel higiénico y les molesto darme otro rollo, las toallas estaban manchadas y rotas, las sábanas también manchadas. No pido un servicio 5 estrellas o diamante, pero al menos los servicios básicos y la limpieza de la habitación. Lo bueno que tuvo es su ubicación, ya que está a tan solo dos cuadras de la 5ta. avenida. En lo demás dejan mucho que desear, les falta atención al huésped y a los servicios que ofrecen.

Notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été vraiment très décevant, la chambre était sale, les draps étaient tâchés, les toilettes et la douche mal nettoyé. Il y'avait du calcaire et plusieurs tâches sur les murs, le WiFi était proposé mais il n'y en avait pas, l'odeur était très dérangeante et l'endroit est loin d'être sécurisé. Très déçu puisque les photos ne ressemblent absolument pas à ce que nous avons reçu, nous avons donc changé d'hôtel. A fuir.

El hotel carece de limpieza al llegar la taza y el lavabo estaba lleno de pelos como si se hubieran rasurado y dejado ahí todo, en nuestra estancia tuvimos problemas con la chapa, chapas que son muy sencillas para la seguridad de la habitación, la ubicación era buena pero si necesita tener más limpieza en general la habitación y tal vez remodelarlo

Avoid BALAM Hotel, Playa Del Carmen at all costs. This place is disgusting, filthy, and dangerous. Cockroaches everywhere, stained sheets and towels, a broken child-sized toilet, and a “pool” that’s just a dirty tub. The photos online are completely misleading. When rain poured through my ceiling at midnight, the staff didn’t care — the guy just took pictures while my belongings got soaked. The replacement room was just as bad, with what looked like blood stains on the sheets. I didn’t sleep a minute and left first thing in the morning. Do yourself a favor: stay FAR away from this hotel. It is gross, unsafe, and a total scam.

No hay estacionamiento y mucho ruido

No hot water, you can hear outside birds singing all day and night but gets terrible around 4 in the morning waking you up without getting any rest. No hot water, no internet connection as specified on their hotel description, see through curtains so everyone passing by can see inside your room, no amenities, a motel would of been a better choose than here. We asked the hotel staff to help fix the hot water issue and was not fixed, we asked to see if we can have a different room and were ignored. No house keeping, we went for an all day tour and we were hopping to have the room made and at least soap to shower and the hot water fixed but we didn't.

A tile fell off the shower wall as I was bathing. Scared the crap out of me because it was rather big. I had to gingerly pick up the pieces so I wouldn't cut my foot stepping out of the shower. Management didn't seem too concerned when I told them. Bed was hard. Wifi was nonexistent in my room. A/c worked great & the pool was nice

Broken main door!!!!

Put in a room that had no glass in the window, and they hit it behind a curtain. They wouldn’t switch my room, that area is not a safe area at night at all, and the hotel is near one of the loudest clubs that play electronic music till 3 in the morning. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL Or you will be sorry

Pros: room was big & clean, bathroom was clean, wifi worked great in the room Cons: room was dark, bathroom shower leaked nonstop, beds were hard & uncomfortable

Balam Playa is a basic hotel, as expected. The hotel is kept very clean and it was quiet. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Location great. The furnishings were old and uncomfortable, and in some cases in bad repair. The pool is small but well tended. The pool furnishings, especially the lounge chairs, were in rough shape with old torn cushions - not really usable. The room itself was ok. The beds were super hard and one had a spring sticking up in the middle. The built in bedside tables were ok but the bottom shelf on one was broken and unusable. The bathroom was functional. The shower was the worst. Broken shower door with chunks of glass missing, the tracks didn't work properly and difficult to move. The water was very undependable. Very low/slow pressure, took several minutes for the hot water to get there, but when it did, it got super hot (difficult to control temperature - either super hot or cold). The last day, there was no hot water at 8 am. In fact, the hot water was just cutoff and no water came out at all. We had one issue with a blown lightbulb in the bathroom, and staff very quickly replaced the bulb, for which we were thankful. One staff member got very angry with me for borrowing two glasses from the kitchen (there were none in the rooms). The amenities in the room were limited - extas included a bar-sized fridge, tv (your own streaming accounts req'd), air conditiong and ceiling fan. No extras in bath. Wifi worked well

Mal servicio al cliente, la pagina te da un precio, entiendo que por el tipo de cambio pueda moverse el total, pero en recepción te dicen que ellos tienen su propio tipo de cambio y por ende terminas pagando más. No hacen la limpieza y al check out te regresan a revisar la habitación. Su ubicación es relativamente buena pero por el servicio no lo vale.

No hacen limpieza diaria. Y para que limpien el cuarto debes poner el letrero. De lo contrario no lo hacen. De tal modo q es responsabilidad del Huésped si lo Limpian o no. Y la actitud de la chica de recepción de la noche deja mucho que desear. Al comentarle esta situación déspotamemte contesta que ella sólo es empleada.

The property lost power , they didn’t help at nothing on all , they didn’t had the possibility to relocate on another hotel … not power , not air conditioner, not water … you couldn’t take showers, you couldn’t sleep in suffocate room, the toilet was full of pee & poo about 3 days , you couldn’t charge your cell phone..so , my staying wasn’t nothing fine… was a bad experience in this Balam playa hotel … I won’t be there never again 👎

Es un muy cómodo pero su personal no es pésimo.. Muy groseros y no dan buen servicio. Hay un encargado en la cocina que siempre esta sentado y no te atiende. La recepción no te ayuda con información y cuando presente quejas solo dijeron que podía reportar al hotel cuando yo quiciera, que a ella no le interesaba.

the front desk at the hotel were rude the toilet was leaking for 2 days. once they fixed it started leaking again. i asked them to give me another room. they said all of them were full which was a lie because most of the room next to me were vacant. so i asked for general manager to talk to. they told me he is in meeting at 12pm one hour later the guy in front desk told me i have a room in second floor i told him i am disabled he said there is nothing i can do for u. i was really mad and unhappy:(:(:(

Exelente atención del personal principalmente de recepción

The property was central to many things, and restaurants, laundry services, convenience stores were all within a block or so. There was a nearby club so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. The hot water takes a long time but that's not an issue if you do cold showers to wake up. Overall good value if you value location over other factors.

Location is close to ADO.

O Hotel não é ruim porém, é um hotel básico e simples. Ele é ótimo para poucos dias porém, a localização é ótima. Proximo ao Ferry, perto da rua principal (5° Avenida) e há muitas opções econômicas para comer ao redor.

Cumple con lo comedido, lo que pagas es lo que recibes, no es ruidoso, es tranquilo, la ubicación es excelente si tu plan es quedarte cerca de la playa.

Habitación limpia, es tranquilo, está cerca de la central de autobuses ideal para descansar

The hotel is not like in the pictures, the swimming pool area is in bad conditions. They don't mention what type of breakfast they offer and it is just one coffee, one orange juice and a piece of bread

Ofrecen estacionamiento y no hay, ofrreceb desayunonincluido y no hay, las toallas estaban muy perjudifas y rotas. Mucho ruido en la noche

Péssima estadia. Lugar super simples. Sem água quente. Chão sujo, rua suja, café da manhã com um café, e uma fatia de pão de forma com margarina. Funcionários sem vontade nenhuma de ajudar. Pior experiência. Não recomendo.

Misrepresented description and picture. There is no beach associated with property. Ground floor rooms are so dark, sunlight never come. In Breakfast give one slice of bread and 1 coffee. If you ask more they refuse with big disrespect. All fake.

Es un hotel muy sencillo , pero exelente, lo que tienen esta limpio , comodo, agradable buen servicio . El desayuno incluido es algo muy pero muy basivo ,jugo ,pan tostado y cafe , por un costo te preparan lo que deses, la verdad vale la pena el lugar
