The room was lovely. They’ve done a beautiful job restoring the hotel. It’s in a neighborhood a bit away from the chaos of Plaka but still walkable - so perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was on the smaller side but was thoughtfully designed with room for everything.

The star fear extremely personable and probably the strongest feature of the place. I found that the air-conditioning operation was slightly puzzling as one had to ask permission from the Porter or Reception receptionist on duty to have it turned on as they operated on a Bluetooth basis. Apart from that, everything was run reasonably.

Very noisy. Outside and neighboring rooms noise travel through walls as if there are none. The room is very tight hard to maneuver. The location was good though. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was friendly.

Our stay at the Neopolis was a good one marked by very friendly, responsive and helpful staff, a good breakfast to start our day and great food options within walking distance. Showering was a bit tricky as the temperature could get very hot and care was needed. Ubers were easy to secure to get into the core of Athens, but the location is great if you're a walker! Guests may want to be aware that the neighbourhood, while safe, can be described as edgy, graffiti-filled and political. While the student vibe was lively, we were disturbed by some of the graffiti.
