Really nice hotel that was reasonably priced compared to others in the area. Nice pool and hot tub. Not on the water but only a few minutes away. Plenty of dining and shopping areas around. Most importantly I felt like I was in a safe area. My only complaint is the beds were small and the 2 of us felt cramped other than it was a great stay. I would chose a king size bed next time but would definitely stay again. We kayaked Pictured Rocks and hiked to several waterfalls. Wonderful trip!

My wife and I were very pleased with our accommodations at Holiday Inn Express - impressed with our entire stay there. The facilities provide about everything we could have wanted, from a nice small pool and exercise room, to the breakfast area with its continently breakfast, to the late night availability of a great selection of snacks near the business office, it was all top rate. Easy access to the main route through Marquette MI, and located in the largest shopping destination of the entire area. Our room was extremely comfortable and well-cleaned for our stay - all furnishings up-to-date and appearing as if new. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed. No neighborly noises at all during our stay. We'll certainly stay there again in our regular journeys through the area.

We like our stay here.The staff are all nice.The room is comfy and clean.Breakfast is all good.We all had fun in the pool and hot spa.Maybe just lessen the chlorine in the hot spa.Coz eyes feels burning when steaming.But overall,we enjoyed our stay here.

It's our second time of staying here for a night.I would say everything is good.Our family is satisfied in our stay here.Breakfast is good,service is good.Also,it's a good thing that the pool chlorine is not much,so we are able to stay a little longer in it.

Check in young male staff was not very polite or helpful. This hotel is NOT on the snowmobile trail. The other Holiday Inn is, and they have no affiliation so you’re not allowed to trailer there. The pool was shut down for an accident a kid had for a long time, well over night. Breakfast wasn’t great but as usual for continental. Overall hotel room was very clean. Great local restaurants within five minutes.

The stay over all was great for what we needed it for, having a place to stay while we were visit for a friends event. Multiple times I went to the desk and had to wait for staff to notice I was even there, as there was not a bell to ring or they weren’t in sight of the desk to know when people were there. The one staff member was new, but he was be really kind. The pool was small for the amount of guests that potentially stay there and use it. So we didn’t stay long as there were 10 kids in there and not much space. Breakfast was great and had many options to offer. I like that they had an ice machine and a water cooler where we could fill up our water bottles. Beds were comfortable and lots of space & pillows. Buffalo Wild Wings was right next door. 8/10 stars. Would stay and recommend.

This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed at. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helped. Coffee was the best.Hotel was in close proximity to restaurants and other shopping. Thank you for a great stay. I highly recommend.

Very lovely property. The lobby, hallways, elevator, and room were all extremely clean and fresh. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast area is kept very clean and food is replenished and warm and good. Location is very convenient for getting into town by the lake and also to various hiking areas.

Bathroom floor got wet from shower curtain proceeded to use a floor towel to soak it up the towel ended up becoming blackened from unseen dirt . Mop them floors besides that a phenomenal time breakfasts were convenient with a grab a bag concept made it extra convenient staff great. The holiday express is A 10 compared to the standard holiday in the same city

The very thin walls from the rooms. We could hear a lot of footsteps the night before above and then woken by the persons phone conversations next door very early in the morning. Great hotel other than sound insulation.

I liked our room very much! Nice size, walk in shower was nice and big! They had a nice travel breakfast set up and 2 coffee machines that run 24/7. We did have a hard time sleeping as our room was under the stairs and you could hear anyone going up/down. And the doors seem thin, you can hear anyone that passes by(and some visitors have no concept of toning it down late at night)But I would totally stay again next time we’re in town.

The heating systems in hotels is so frustrating. You have to raise the temp to over 70 to warm up the room and even on low speed fan is loud and drafty. And there should be night lights in every bathroom. I usually bring my own but forgot it this trip. So had to keep the very bright mirror light on all night with the door cracked which shone in our eyes all night? Otherwise the room was very comfy.

The room has to be the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. It was better than any $400 a night room I’ve been in. I’ve never seen glass shower doors in a hotel ever. Breakfast included hot eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The entire hotel was spotless. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Marquette!

Very nice suite. The bedroom was separated from the living area with a door. Children were able to play their games while the adults were able to peacefully relax and watch TV. Clean, comfortable and a good price. We will be back.

The staff here was always hustling and friendly. Also they a.) called me to let me know I'd left a shirt behind and b.) organized to get it shipped back home to me! I get to Marquette two or three times a year and I'll definitely be back here.

Front desk staff was fine but not really very enthusiastic. Hotel is very clean. Nothing spectacular about this side of Marquette, but you’re 5-10 away from all good eateries, NMU, and a ton of beaches.

Hotel location was right on highway 41, easy access to restaurants and stores. Hotel/room was updated and clean. Room was spacious and king bed very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of choices. Will stay here again.

The property is well kept and I got the room I requested. The only problem we had was trying to regulate the heat - it fluctuated from cold to very hot. The breakfast was good but we got there a half an hour before closing and there were only a few items left and the biscuits/rolls were crusty.

We’re on a 14 night trip, about 7 nights in (different hotel each night) and this has been the best hotel so far! Comfy beds, extremely nice staff, quiet, good parking and breakfast was great. Breakfast attendant was 5 stars! She made us feel very welcome.
