Clean and quiet. Manager very approachable and helpful. Useful courtesy bus provided to town. However.... I had specifically booked a twin room and was initially allocated a double, which was inappropriate to my needs. This was amended at once, but this type of error should not occur. I also observed a second customer encounter this experience.

Everything was ok, clean and comfy bed and lounge. Nice table and chairs, tv worked pretty well for streaming. Shower had good water pressure. In the room I stayed I couldn’t help but notice the wet smell that went with the water damaged carpet which I’m guessing is from an issue with the spa judging by the trial of water damage to it and the sign saying it isn’t functional for peoples safety. After having a shower I understand how it could happen as the curtain doesn’t cover the entire shower and the floor in the bathroom was covered in water. I’m only speaking for room 46. The others may be better.

The owners say the motel is due to be renovated but they've been saying that for at least 3 months. I stayed in Room 57 on the 18th & 19th October 2024. The location is excellent. Very quiet with minimal road noise. Overall this place is shabby. The room itself needs a lot of maintenance. The hot water tap in the shower falls off, the toilet seat is broken, the light switch in the bathroom has a large crack in it and the TV needs re-tuning. The king sized bed is way too soft for my liking. I also noticed in the common hallway outside water damage to the carpet. I presume the shower has leaked at some stage. Not a good look!

Such potential - what a pity! Having driven all day and emailing them to say we hope the kitchen's still open, it was only after we finally called (as no response to our email), only to be advised it was closed until Jan and that we should eat before we get there. When we did arrive, we asked for another room as the carpet in ours was filthy and being used by our 6 legged friends. While the bed was comfy and clean, our morning cuppa was hi-jacked by milk past its use by date. This place could be great, but needs a good clean and a paint job to start.

Nice comfy room, no luxury, but for a night's sleep, it's more than adequate. Tea and coffee making facilities and fridge in room. Only slight drawback (for some) is that it's not walking distance to any restaurants. There is a restaurant on site, so dramas, as the locals would say.

The motel is getting very tired inside and out and is in need of a freshen up. The walls seem quite thin as you can hear everything in the rooms next door. However the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Dining at the sports club onsite was not a pleasant experience and we would not dine there again.

Nice location on a golf course but would have liked to be able to walk into town. Super friendly staff, clean bedroom and bathroom. Microwave, crockery, cutlery available. Ground outside the bedrooms would look better without weeds but otherwise everything was perfect.

This is not a 4 star property. The room we had was clean and tidy but very tired and in need of refurbishment as does the entire property. The web site is misleading there is no on-site restaurant. On the plus side the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

I thought the staff were friendly. Room very comfortable and clean. Didn’t like the odour in the hallway to room could use a better fragrance the smell was quite overpowering. The food at restaurant was good. We would stay there again as we can see the property was a work in progress paving garden etc.
