The room is clean and tidy, with a bar fridge, microwave and kettle. The bathroom is small, with limited vanity space. The restaurant is open at night, but not for breakfast. The lovely receptionist did recommend the bakery next door which does toasted sandwiches, amongst other items. There is a bar and pokies onsight, as well as a swimming pool for guests. This hotel/motel is perfectly adequate for a night or two. I loved the carpet colour and pattern. It was a lovely change from high usage, dark carpet. The pillows were also soft, low and very comfortable. The room was fairly quiet, with the help of the aircon, I could drown out any general noise. I would stay again.

Showers had mould in it. Rubbish under our bed. Glasses in our room were dirty. Pool was full of leaves. Tavern still had dinner plates, glasses and bottles outside when leaving sunday morning. Cheap motel. Not worth it though.

The room we were in was damp. Not sure if it was due to the air conditioner but the sheets felt damp, the surfaces i touched felt damp, the ceiling in the bathroom was "sweating" and dripping slightly. There was no wipes to clean table if needed and had to just use the toilet paper provided. Floor was not clean and no broom available to sweep. The receptionist was at least the nice thing about the place. Bistro was okay too.

Not clean (greasy menu, dust on tv, window sills, razor left in bathroom. Fridge ice box half iced up, remaining was dripping with icecream. No privacy screens. Nice location, would be a good price if it was clean.

Was a bed and shower. Cockroaches. Dirty fridge. Dirty floors. Cockroach poo in the bathroom cupboard. I cleaned the things that made me feel sick and was totally fine. Sheets and towels were clean. Air-con dripped all over my kids bed so I moved the bed and top and tailed the sheets so the wet patch was at the other end. Was close to where I needed to be. For the price it was acceptable but pillows need a pillow protector and health and hygiene should be a top priority. Do something about the cockroaches. And get rid of the 80’s bed covers. Gross. Bed’s were great.

The room smelt terrible ... probably dirty carpets. I can understand older furnishings for the accommodation price, but at least ensure that it is up to scratch. The bed and sheets however were clean comfortable.

Air conditioning control is confusing and air conditioner is very noisy. Had to turn it off to hear the TV and to sleep. TV remote doesn’t work very well and many stations are not there or pixilated. Besides that excellent.

Whilst it was nicely renovated it was still evidently an old property. Gaps in doors and windows let in all the noise of the pool and other activities. Bed was comfy and room was clean. OK for an overnighter or work stay. No internet connected to smart TV. Not sure if there was wifi. I wasn't told. TV was good size and aircon worked very well.

Liked: Partly renovated room. Quiet, comfortable. Easy check-in and staff were lovely. Rooms were refreshed the second day with clean towels (love this), with generous restock of tea/coffee and toiletries. Microwave supplied. Renovations were underway in other units. Hotel component had a reasonable menu, friendly staff and food was nice. Aircon was good. Didn't like: Toilet roll holder was not secured on the wall, though the bathroom had been refreshed/renovated, the fittings were old, taps were hard to turn off and dripped and leaked. No toaster or crockery/cutlery provided to give us the option to eat in. Fridge worked fine but aesthetically unsightly with rust along the bottom. Cupboard where cups/tea/coffee were was misaligned and sticky to open and close. Not enough pillows. Blinds did not entirely cover windows across to other units and some did not work at all.

Exceeded our expectations being attached to a pub. Rooms are away from pub out the back so no pub noise, very minimal road noise. Room was clean and modern. Great pool area, just need a regular gardener to keep pool area clean from palm fronds etc. would def stayagain

Room was very clean and spacious. Amenities good. View over pool on 1st floor was lovely. Only problem was no insulation between rooms. Any noise from next room sounded very loud.

Unfortunately we were woken at 4:30am by an evacuation alarm. It went for half an hour without any action taken by staff (they did not communicate with us about where to evacuate to or what was happening). Finally the fire brigade arrived. When we went to check out this morning the reception was not manned as the staff member was sitting out the front smoking. He took our key while continuing to smoke. Not very pleasant or professional.

I absolutely love the staff there, so kind and wonderful. We played free bingo whilst we are our meals and the host was fantastic. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful and such an easy process. Everything is close by and convenient. Would recommend absolutely.

We always enjoy our stay at Currimundi Hotel. It's affordable, convenient, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. Highly recommend especially for out of towners who are in town for sports tournaments.

Great value hotel/motel. Fabulous location, close to beach, close to small group of shops, meals at the hotel bistro, ample off street parking. Modern amenities, even a pool for patrons. Very surprised at how quiet it was, considering we stayed from Fri - Sun nights.

For the price for an event on which was local can’t go wrong, the room was cleaner than the room we had on Day Dream Island . Staff are amazing , bistro food was great , will definitely be back

We thought the sevice overall was excellent although we had to wait an incredibly long time for our meal (at least an hour). Having said that management was sympathetic of our inconvenience and compensated us accordingly.

Motel room was quite ok yet the $34 250gram rump wasn't. I ordered medium rare and the steak was blue. Mushroom sauce didn't have any mushrooms in it. Salad comprised of half cherry tomato, 2 slices cucumber the rest was lettuce. Will never eat there again. The schooners were overpriced to buggery as well
