Do not stay here. I booked a room for 2 nights, we left after 1 night. We could not leave soon enough! The fridge and lamp in our room were both broken the towel and carpets were dirty and the bed was extremely uncomfortable as the springs were almost through the mattress and to top it off the spa was broken! Very unpleasant stay and very little help from staff to rectify the situation.

The property is in need of an overhaul trnnis court ripped up . Tv not working facililies old and worn . Furniture in bedtoom old and eorn. Went down for dinner ordered sweet and sour pork waited nearly an hour but hot some big chunks of batter with no pork indide. Fried rice was greasy. Would not go back would not recommend.

Inconveniences -TV not working properly, fridge not working at all.Sliding Door to outside actually doesn't lock. Staff excellent but they maybe need some more. It's like they make an effort but don't have enough time or people to get to anything.

Bed was huge but room was very dated and windows were filthy. Lots of marks on the carpet. Restaurant don’t open for dinner on Sunday and had little breakfast choices. Saw plenty of kangaroos hanging around so that made a huge difference. It is winter but spa facilities were out and not working.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was very good. The furniture and fittings were outdated and could do with an upgrade. The bathrooms were in good condition and it looked like the tiling has been upgraded as that was in very good condtion. The shower was over the bath.

Terrible service from staff, had to sneak in a staff exit to see someone for a late check in after calling ahead twice, property is not as advertised, not clean, and in need of repair. Tv only worked on one channel and even that kept cutting out. Bedside light had arcing wiring. Sink glued back together. Definitely an emergency stop off only. All we really needed was a bed and thankfully that was comfortable, beyond that it was disappointing.

Quiet place , good to relax and not far from town to go for dinner and shops etc. No plates or cutlery in the room , not a big deal but never hurts does it . The king size bed was two king singles that had a great big seam in the middle which was pretty uncomfortable. Overall for the money it was good.

The room is very spacious but overall the property is dated. We were assigned a room at back of the property and it was very difficult to find at night (late check in) as there were no signs on the road (or if there were, they were not illuminated). This is a very convenient accommodation to catch the early morning ferry to Kangaroo Island in Cape Jervis. Also, loved the wildlife, eg kangaroos or wallabies, birds,etc near the property.

Great environment! Can see kangaroos around us in the early morning. Great services! Staff very nice. They will send us check in information after working hours. Actually the site manager still there, who can help us. And he can speak Chinese as well. Thanks! Strongly recommend

I booked this stay largely so I was close to the Kangaroo Island Ferry. I had expected a typical motel style room for a single night. In fact what I found on arrival was a relatively large facility which I assume is a holiday resort during the tourist season. However, when we arrived we found that there were no staff and that the contact number we had went unanswered. Fortunately I had received at txt message from a different number giving a key code to check in and calling that number I got some assistance. As a venue the room was fine with some basic facilities and eventually we found a guest kitchen with some basic appliances. Having driven for Melbourne and arriving at about 7 pm I was comforted by the venue being OK but disappointed at the varience between what the web and booking information had led me to expect. I've had similar experiences with AirB&B ads in the past and for this reason use general reputable booking sites. It would have been better to have a more current description either on the site or at least in the information email together with an up to date contact number. Out of season I rate the venue as a backpacker friendly venue and not worth what I paid.

It was a very convenient place for us to stay close to Cape Jervis, where we took an early morning ferry to Kangaroo Island. The property looked a little tired in terms of maintenance (some chipped paint, some aging furniture), but it was adequate and we felt fine. We had a nice view of the golf course, with kangaroos hopping right past the door facing the golf course.
