This is not the first time I've stayed here, but definitely the last. Issues began when I tried to communicate with the hotel via the app, and send a message... the message was never replied to. Next, there was no A/C in the common areas, it was almost as hot in the lobbies / hallways as outside, but no indication of there being issues, or apologies for the heat. Then, there was a roach in the hot tub (no didn't use it),, and the hot water for the shower took about 10 minutes to get hot. The Spa (Hot Tub) in the pool was broken, no hot water, and there was a sign on the door about it that looked like it has been there for quite awhile. And the last item was the first floor ice machine.. it was broken.. and it was broken the last time I was there, several years ago.. and still had the same sign taped to it telling guests to use the machine on the 2nd floor. I'm not sure if this hotel has been through multiple owners, or if the owners can't afford the upkeep, and I'm typically understanding that sometimes in business things happen, but a large chain should not allow a location like this and needs to step in and get this property back to the standards expected.

Hot tub not working at all, couldnt use it at all, and indoor swimming pool was freezing cold. I got out of pool after 20 minutes bc it was uncomfortably cold. The most important things were perfect, though. 5 stars for breakfast, cleaning service and customer service. But hubby and I picked this hotel for the hot tub . ☆ also, not 1 machine worked in fitness room. ☆ we paid too much $ for amenities we could not use :( But for real, everything else was wonderful. Very nice place, just needs repairs. Very close to NASA and UTMB doctors appointments. Plenty of restaurants near by. Over-all a good experience. Just not what we paid for.

Property is located near lots of food and shopping. Very easy to find. However, the property itself left a lot to be desired. Swimming pool and hot tub was not operational, ice machines not working, juice machine for breakfast was not working, carpet in elevator was torn and ragged as well. Furniture in the room is showing its age. However, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking for the hotel.

The gym equipment was broke and did not work. The hot tub was broke. The pool was unsafe with the electrical hanging out of the pool wall and was unable to use. The ac wasn’t working properly the bed sheets were so itchy had to pull them off. The room above and next to mine were so noisy. Most of the staff were not friendly. Breakfast was ok.

We booked this hotel to take our grandson to space camp and we did based on the fact that it had an indoor pool and spa. However, the pumps in the spa weren’t working and so couldn’t enjoy that and the pool was icy cold. We found several things at the hotel that weren’t working for example our ice machine on the third floor and the ice machine on the 1st floor & 3rdwasn’t working & we had to go to the 2nd floor to get ice, and when I try to use the exercise room, the machine had a cord that was broken, I tried to use the machine to walk on, and it would never start. There was also a sign in the bathroom in the pool that says that wasn’t in order and the juice machine in the kitchen was out of order, although you are able to supplement that with juice in the little refrigerator , so your website didn’t warn us about all these things that weren’t working and it should at least have something that says not working or exercise room not available and I would’ve probably chose to go somewhere else. I’m not certain how long these things have been out of order, but when I asked the staff, I was not able to get an answer and , they should be in the loop on once something gonna be fixed or repaired the hotel staff was very cordial but without that information I was disappointed. So can somebody tell me how long those things have been out of order and when will they be replaced so when I make a decision to post something about the hotel again, I can at least have some information!!!!

Staff was friendly & nice. "Fitness Center" had a broken treadmill, broken beyond repair elliptical, and broken weight machine with cables snapped & tied up. All unusable & dangerous. Hotel was clean. Handicap accessible lift for pool broken & wrapped in caution tape. Breakfast area was non monitored by staff and there was a family scooping cereal out of the decanters with their hands. Unsafe food service & so gross-should be monitored by hotel staff. Decent area to walk/run and a nice park across the street. Great coffee, restaurants, stores, ice cream within walking distance.

They price was more than i was quoted. The place was dirty. Breakfast was shortedned hours and then claimed they were out of stuff but i gather they just never really serve breakfast and certainly not enough for if the place was full. The folks upstairs ran and jumped all night and screamed and you can hear it all. The curtains were covered in mold. Wouldnt recommend.

While the front desk people were relatively nice, the pool was DISGUSTING and the hot tub was out of order but looked like it had some bacteria dwelling there. The elevator smelled like body odor. The A/C in the lobby was not working, so it was always humid and hot when we went down for anything. The room did contain a small roach. I killed it and looked for more but didn’t see any. All in all, I will not book this one again.

Cut my toe on a staple left on the carpet. Curtains were broken, a screw lying there, they wouldn’t shut all the way. No hot water on 3rd floor. AC turned off in middle of night. Smelled musty throughout entire hotel & room!! Stains on bed. Stains on carpet. 2 cockroaches. Pool was dirty & handicap chair broken. All fitness equipment were broken & the area was unsafe. Ice machine out of service. Nobody greeting, receptionist sleeping at the desk. Nowhere to sit outside. Very poor experience.

Mold was on the ceiling in the bathroom. The spa was not working and very green. We went with this hotel because it was supposed to have an indoor heated spa and that was not the case. The bed was ok, harder than I like. Breakfast was tasty.

Budget friendly but A/C was filled with dust. Carpets feel dirty and smell weird. Bathtub leaked every time we showered. Tv was broken. I don’t think this property warrants an 150 dollar deposit. When you book with them on Hotels it doesn’t mention a 150 dollar deposit anywhere on the check in instructions or on the booking confirmation.

Desk clerk at check-in was very nice. Expedia showed the room would have a tub/shower combo, it was a shower only. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Third floor hallway smelled horrible. Bed was very hard. A/C worked but was very noisy. Elevator floor was covered with a carpet scrap that had raggedy edges which could be a tripping hazard.

Nice hotel, good spacious room, unfortunately the air con didnt seem to cope with the size of the room - even on the coldest setting it was still very warm in the room overnight. Duvet wasnt in the best condition either, several rips in it. Otherwise good, nice indoor pool and convenient location for visiting NASA

The WiFi signal was very poor and unreliable. I got disconnected and had to reconnect a lot of times. I find that very annoying and inconveniencing. The weightlifting equipment in the gym room was out of order. The NordicTrack cycling machine was not working properly. The indoor swimming pool is not climate controlled. So the water stays cold all the time. Wouldn't you think that it should be temperature regulated since it's an indoor pool? Nope, not at this hotel! They have a Jacuzzi next to the pool too, but the temperature control timer knob was not working. Wondering what else is not working properly at this hotel. And lastly, the water in the room 319 I was staying in was smelly. It had an unpleasant odor similar to an untreated water. It was disgusting that I had to bathe and rinse my mouth with it because I had no choice as I think switching to a different room wouldn't work, because it probably came from the same water source. I was definitely not impressed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
The WiFi signal was very poor and unreliable. I got disconnected and had to reconnect a lot of times. I find that very annoying and inconveniencing. The weightlifting equipment in the gym room was out of order. The NordicTrack cycling machine was not working properly. The indoor swimming pool is not climate controlled. So the water stays cold all the time. Wouldn't you think that it should be temperature regulated since it's an indoor pool? Nope, not at this hotel! They have a Jacuzzi next to the pool too, but the temperature control timer knob was not working. Wondering what else is not working properly at this hotel. And lastly, the water in the room 319 I was staying in was smelly. It had an unpleasant odor similar to an untreated water. For being a quick trip and to essentially use it to sleep, it met my needs. The reviews were pretty accurate, oddly the room felt cold initially but then it warms up? Room was outdated, it needs attention for sure. But to checkbox price, it was part of a bundle and was worth it. Don’t expect resort level style.

This is not the first time I've stayed here, but definitely the last. Issues began when I tried to communicate with the hotel via the app, and send a message... the message was never replied to. Next, there was no A/C in the common areas, it was almost as hot in the lobbies / hallways as outside, but no indication of there being issues, or apologies for the heat. Then, there was a roach in the hot tub (no didn't use it),, and the hot water for the shower took about 10 minutes to get hot. The Spa (Hot Tub) in the pool was broken, no hot water, and there was a sign on the door about it that looked like it has been there for quite awhile. And the last item was the first floor ice machine.. it was broken.. and it was broken the last time I was there, several years ago.. and still had the same sign taped to it telling guests to use the machine on the 2nd floor. I'm not sure if this hotel has been through multiple owners, or if the owners can't afford the upkeep, and I'm typically understanding that sometimes in business things happen, but a large chain should not allow a location like this and needs to step in and get this property back to the standards expected.

We stayed at a Comfort Inn years ago so thought this would be OK. We won't be staying in a Comfort Inn again. Breakfast was a dried out egg so stiff it was unedible, frayed dirty carpet in elevator, laundry pillow case left in the middle of the hall, faucet handle came off in my hand, put us in a handicap room (don't need) and seat in shower was rusted beyond belief. Staff were terrible uncaring and not friendly. Pre-charge $150.00 in case we damaged something. This was not stated on hotels.com.

The only nice thing about this stay was the gentleman who checked us in! He was super friendly. Other than that, the pool was disgusting, the workout room was broken, breakfast was incredibly small and had barely anything when we got up at 730.. our ac wasn’t cold. And the lady who worked at night… lots of attitude. Worst hotel stay we’ve ever had.

This hotel was very good and fortunately matched what my company allows for hotel stays. The prices increase drastically on the weekends but that’s understandable. I do appreciate their low rates during the week. I recommend this hotel at anytime during the week. Great service, good breakfast, clean rooms.

Checked in and was given keys to a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. The desk attendant was apologetic of the situation and friendly though. The advertised hot tub was more like a dirty goldfish pond...apparently had been in non working order for some time. And as petty as this may seem, THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE SALT FOR BREAKFAST! Now we all know how much flavor these hotel eggs have... "We're out of salt" was the answer 15 minutes after breakfast started while the lady leaned on the counter playing on her phone. Will not be going back to this one!

I liked the fact when i called the lady answered and assured me we could check in til 5 am. She was there and greeted us when we checked in. Towards the end of our stay i was getting coffee and water had been spilled by previous person. This same lady was like there go you napkins rightthere to clean up that spill. I said ok i did not make mess but i will clean up. Felt like most of staff did not want to work there. Had they been up front about the pool being dirty when they told us the hot tub did get hot but jets worked before we got there we would not have booked here. Anyway as i said seemed staff really isn't there to work so i took the liberty of doing stripped the bed down to mattress made sure the counts were, noticed stains and why offer a sofa bed and not have bedding? I must have missed something. There. Breakfast was better than some but not as good as it could be. I see why there is a box to drop room keys for check out. I was concerned i would be accused of something else i did not do. Please let Expedia and etc know your pool is not open and hot tub is broken not working at all. Would have saved us enormously

We liked everything about our stay except the breakfast on Saturday was poor. Wasn’t just me. Everyone grumbling. Juice machine broken. No eggs or sausage All gone by 8:30. We didn’t even try for breakfast on Sunday. We went out. Room nice. Wife liked the extra towels. It was quiet.

I assigned a room on the third floor; however, the air conditioning was not functioning in the hallway. In addition the air conditioning barely functioned in the room. In addition the ice machine was broken on the third floor. The following day I requested a different room on the second floor. The air conditioning was working in the hallway and better in room 215. However, we bought some fans ($34) to help move the air in the room so we could sleep better. I did complain to the front desk. They said it was due to the outside temps. I will not stay here again.

The first room we were given was close to the elevator, so after hearing that a couple times during a nap, we asked the extremely nice desk clerk for another room and she immediately came through for us. The staff were awesome! Any question had an answer quickly and they were going the extra mile our entire stay. The breakfast was fantastic! The room was great! The hotel was quiet. The only thing I'd say was the pool was ssoooooooo cold. No hot tub. Called it a cold shock pool...? That would make sense if the pool were warm. There's rust on the hand rails coming in and out of the pool. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Houston/Webster.
