Royale Palms Condominiums

The room was clean upon arrival. Amazing view of the ocean, just no sunrise. The Hilton is in the way for the sunrise. Love the amenities at Kingston Plantation & the Hilton. This property is always clean and well maintained. The new waterpark is great for kids. Black Drum Brewery has great food and drinks!

Really nice resort away from the downtown area. Lots of pools and right on the beach!

The facilities as a whole were great! A few issues we had were the elevators not operating correctly, our air conditioner in our room did not work upon arrival and there were 2 different charges on our credit card that we did not make, the front desk said it was happening to a lot of people that morning.

Hot tub not clean, pool not heated.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. I liked walking on the boardwalk when the beach was covered with water due to high tide and stormy weather. The pool water was very cold but the hot tub helped to warm up afterwards. We could not find the big gym, but the small one in the basement worded out nicely.

First the add advertised was an ocean view, it was on the side of the building 👎. The decorations in the room is outdated. The spa is no longer available

Wish indoor pool wasnt do far away.

Very nice property, great access to beach and pools. One downside, the elevator wait times were terrible.

Carpet is gross, bed had a plastic feeling sheet and sand in the bed. Really disappointed and very surprised this has the Hilton name.

Rooms were dirty and rugs smelled, TV did not work, WF had to be reset constantly. Called for towels and no show. Outside furniture was rusted and dirty elevators to parking levels were filthy. Toilet on master bedroom leaked every ten minutes.I would not recommed this condo for anyone

There were many issues with our stay here: 1. Condos do not look as advertised (see attached pics). They are poorly cleaned. After complaining about a dirty room (including liquid splattered on master headboard) and mold smell, I was relocated. The headboard in the 2nd condo fell as I was making the bed for my child to sleep in Management informed me that maintenance was on the way but after 2 hours, no one came. I originally called around 9:30/10. When I called back at midnight, I was told both management and the maintenance worker were gone. 2. I complained with the front desk the next morning and was shown 2 more rooms. All of them look the same (not as advertised). The hotel should show pictures that represent most of their rooms and not just a few. Daquan, the front desk manager, was able to get us to room 1901 which was similar to the advertised rooms, however, the toilet ran loudly nonstop. I understand condos are privately owned, but if this establishment is part of a Hilton chain/brand, it should represent Hilton quality. 3. It takes forever to get through for service. The phone rings and rings. Shouldn’t residents be able to make contact with the front? Other than that, it was not a good stay. Expedia was also not that helpful, as they redirected me back to the hotel after several issues. I filed a case with Hilton Guest Assistance, and the GM never responded, according to the Hilton brand.

Property is ok . Room was very dated , kitchen counters were dirty. The sheets on both beds were gross, old and sand …. Yes sand between the fitted sheet and sheet. Bathroom in master moldy . Also hit with additional fees not specified in original reservation … never again !

Clean rooms, amenities

The condo was woefully outdated, dirty. Carpet was gross, stains on walls and all the furniture. 18th floor and only 1 or 2 elevators working at a time. Long lines to get on. Grounds and restrooms were not very clean, trash lying around. Very disappointing given the cost!

This was my second time staying at the resort. Overall my stay was great, however, the unit did not have towels and wash clothes and the shower needed to be cleaned.

The room and the bed was full dog hair.

Perfect Babymoon Getaway at Royal Palms Condominiums! We spent our baby-moon in Myrtle Beach and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, relaxing getaway. Staying at Royal Palms Condominiums was the perfect choice—our room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony, where we enjoyed quiet mornings watching the waves. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made our stay feel even more special. The food at the resort was good. We especially loved the Wet Whistle Bar—their fried shrimp was absolutely amazing! Café Amalfi also impressed us with a delicious salmon dish that we’d highly recommend. This trip was everything we hoped for—calm, scenic, and memorable. It was the perfect way to spend time together before our little one arrives. We would absolutely recommend Royal Palms and Myrtle Beach to anyone looking for a peaceful affordable oceanfront escape.

We didn’t have TV or internet for 2 out of three day. The owner didn’t pay him cable bill. That make it rough with 3 teen girls..

Large condo on the beach great for walks. Excellent restaurant near by. Friendly staff!

The room was nice but not what i expected. It was a regular room for 800 dollars. I didn't have the living room or kitchen like the email said i would.

I wished the beds were more comfortable in the 2nd bedroom. Also, the furniture was a little outdated in our unit. But with all that, I still enjoyed my stay very much, and will be back next year. Love this Hilton property!!!

We had a two bedroom/2 bathroom oceanfront condo. Absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean and pool areas. Although spacious, it was in dire need of updating. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice but the king bed and the primary suite was so badly worn there was no loft left to it whatsoever and the sheets were so scratchy they almost felt as if they had sand on them. The two queen beds in the guest room were OK but again the sheets were terrible. I know that these are individually owned and then rented out by the hotel but they probably should still be inspected. Lumps in the worn carpeting caused us to trip several times. A couple of the TV remotes had dead batteries in them. We were left dish soap, a dish cloth and towel in the kitchen. Full size laundry was nice but there was no laundry soap, not even one pod to do any laundry. Bathroom toiletries are watery. Plenty of towels were left which was great. A couple of days there was a huge amount of sand in both pools but it was attended to the next day which was very nice. The smaller pool between the Hilton and Royal Palms building, although not oceanfront, is stellar. The wet whistle tiki bar is great and the people working there are wonderful. Dinner at Café Amalfi was wonderful as well and you must have George for your server for I feel like he is part of what makes the experience so great. I would stay again but I would definitely confirm that I had an updated condo like the one that is shown on the hotels.com website.

Their “ocean view” descriptionof a room is very misleading. It should be partial ocean view as most hotels would describe.

Confirmed with everyone that it was ocean front and all said yes got there and balcony was facing adjoining buildings. Had to go out on balcony turn to the left just to see ocean. Feels like a scam honestly

Check-in staff was incredibly nice and efficient. Even though it states you have to check in at a different location it is still connected and parking is a very short walk. Room was excellent! Though it was the off season there was live music that was very entertaining.

The area was nice and convenient for shopping and other activities, only problem we had was not being able to get wash cloths, they kept saying that it would be another hour but we never received them

i always love staying at the royale. this time was a little frustrating. I was first assigned a room where hardly nothing work , like the oven, internet and many more appliances. Shotout to the maintenance guy and the guy that worked the front desk at nite. for getting me set up in an amazing condo. It all worked out.

Great location nice large rooms, cleaning service only offered once every four days but you need to call request it, despite multiple visits to front desk and calls could not get fresh towels nor can we get anyone to repair the broken dishwasher and broken refrigerator icemaker

Clean property and friendly staff. However, no one answered at the front desk or any available number for that matter. We just wanted to make a call for more towels but..crickets

On arrival my 1st room the tv and internet didn’t work. It took 3.5 hours and 2 trips to the front desk from the 15th floor for them to give me another room. Also the 2nd room the internet didn’t work as well. The only contact I have has been with Expedia. Expedia did what they could to solve the issues. I know for sure that even Expedia could not get in touch with a member of management for a few days. I was told by Expedia that the Hilton would reach out to me through email but I still haven’t heard anything from them. Today is December 4 and I checked out of my room the day after Thanksgiving. I would never stay at this location ever again.

The valet couldnt find our car or keys because they had 2 diff tickets for it. It was a simple mistake and after 35 min, they found it. This wasnt a huge deal, because everyone mskes mistakes. What i found inexcusable was the fact that no one apologized for the mixup, and after they brought the car to me, all 3 men stood by and watched me load my luggage into the car. At one point, I was struggling with a huge suitcase and another customer offered to help me as the 3 employees walked away, talking about the situation. The property itself was very nice.

The property was good but needed check in dedicated to Royal Palms as can get hectic checking in/out with only registration desk located next door.

We were celebrating 19 year wedding anniversary and the Condo was beautiful. We loved having the washer and dryer available in the condo. It was well decorated and taken care of. It was easy to park. The tranpsortation on property was nice to have even though it only went a few miles. It was also nice to have access to the other surrounding hotels such as Embassy Suites and the Hilton. We would have liked having beach chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach. The chairs they were renting on the beach was 45.00 $ per day. The chairs were in terrible shape. Also, it would have been nice to have salt and pepper to season our food with. There was some mold in the bathroom shower in master bedroom that needed to be cleaned other than that the Condo was great!.

We were grossly over charged for our dinning the tab was $54 and the restaurant/bar charged my credit card $110. As a Hilton Honors member I should have received a $30 discount on one meal for 2. Parking fees of $20 a day was fine but we were charged an additional resort fee of $35 a day. The only resort amenities were the pools.

I loved the actual upgraded room because it was an oceanfront experience. The room & facilities was very clean. I enjoyed the grounds, and amenities. I plan to come back again. I didn't like the a la cart experience with billing. They charge a resort fee and taxes for everything and they charge your card each time which causes issue with most banking institution.

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Breakfast was $21 for a buffet with eggs, pancakes fruit cereal and home fries. It was filling and hit the spot. A free shuttle was provided to some local shops and restaurants that were within 2 miles of the hotel.

everything was good. The room was not truly Ocean Front. One had to bend his neck from the edge of the balcony to see the ocean. There are not enough restaurant choices on the premises.
