A Tonnara

Very nice place with warm and frendly staff. Breakfast served on our own terrace based on requestform at arrival. Short walk to beach and a morning swim. Coffe served at the terrace when we came back. Beatiful view from terrace and nice rooms. Free parking in the street. Prior to our stay we were afraid it was a bit far from town, but it was only a 15-20 min easy and safe walk to the old city with good resturantes and lots to see. If you are looking for a five star pampering hotel choose something else. If you want a more personal stay with good atmosphere we higly recommend this place.

Il B&B si trova sopra al porto di Cefalù sul lato ad est del promontorio su cui si trova la Rocca a circa 15 minuti dal centro di Cefalù. Il centro è raggiungibile con una gradevole passeggiata con vista mare. Sulla via (chiusa) su cui si trova la struttura ci sono ampie possibilità di parcheggio per cui la soluzione è molto comoda per chi arriva in auto. Per arrivare alla zona delle camere/reception/colazione occorre scendere una scala. Le camere hanno tutte accesso su un davanzale (comune) vista mare. La nostra camera (Levante) essendo l'ultima è quella che godeva di maggiore privacy rispetto alle altre quando si sta sul patio esterno. Era disponibile angolo cottura e frigo, molto comodo per chi volesse prepararsi qualcosa in autonomia. La colazione è alla carta e viene servita sui tavoli vista mare nel piccolo patio di fronte alla camera, la qualità è eccellente e la ragazza che si occupa del servizio è sempre stata disponibilissima per qualsiasi necessità. Qualità del sonno buona, più che il treno che passa dietro il B&B (ne passano pochi ed a bassa velocità) bisogna avere la fortuna di non avere il vicino di camera che faccia la doccia in orari inopportuni perchè l'insonorizzazione con il bagno della camera adiacente non è proprio perfetta. Nel complesso è stato un ottimo soggiorno, nota particolare di ringraziamento al personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta.

Très calme. Jolie vue. Parking. Dans la chambre Levante, nous avions une cuisine avec un lit pour notre fille, une machine à café, des biscuits. L'hôtel est vraiment à un petit quart d’heure de marche du centre historique de Cefalu, c’est à dire aussi près que si vous étiez garés dans un parking du coin . Les lits sont confortables et la chambre est climatisée. Je regrette juste que la porte coulissante qui ferme la salle d’eau (avec wc) laisse passer tous les bruits. Mais je reviendrai dans cet hotel les yeux fermés c'est l’endroit idéal pour visiter le village et être au calme.

This quiet B & B, overlooking the Cefalu port, is a comfortable place to stay. Parking and driving in the historic centre are challenging, so we preferred the 20-minute walk into town and the beach.

Ruhig gelegenes B&B mit super nettem Personal. Schöne Terrasse, Frühstück sehr reichhaltig mit traumhafter Aussicht. Parkplätze vor der Unterkunft vorhanden.

Chambre suite superbe. Très confortable, et très propre. Personnel tres gentil. Bon petit déjeuner, servi sur la terrasse de notre chambre.

Bellissima struttura! Camera Accogliente, vista mare meravigliosa! Camera pulitissima e splendente. Il personale gentilissimo,cortese e sempre disponibile a tutte le evenienze. Colazione buonissima con tantissime possibilità di scelta. La posizione della struttura è facilmente raggiungibile grazie a tutte le indicazioni stradali. Sicuramente ritorneremo perché ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Consigliatissimo! Ci siamo trovati benissimo

This property is beautiful, it a small family run B and B, they serve breakfast on your patio every morning which is delicious and filling. The rooms were super clean and very comfortable. The view is beautiful and it is an easy walk into town, to the beach, and to restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations and offered beach accessories. I highly recommend staying at A Tonnara

Good points: nice view, lovely staff, powerful shower The negatives: basic room, tv reception patchy and constantly interrupting, Wi-Fi range obsolete, a significant drainage smell in the terrace, train track less than 200 metres away and audible trains; overpriced; basic breakfast with undrinkable coffee Won’t return.

View can't be beat. Room faces harbor. Location is off the beaten path, but close enough to walk to town. Service is outstanding. Room is spacious, however bathroom smells slightly moldy, but given dampness of area, is almost expected.

Supermooie en vooral schone kamer met fantastisch uitzicht! Centrum is op ongeveer 20 minuten loopafstand. Ontbijt wordt op je terras geserveerd.. erg leuk! Personeel is echt ontzettend aardig, gastvrij en behulpzaam. Heel erg tevreden!!

Booked the property about 6 months ago, b&b advertised as included. On arrival, a packet of biscuits were pointed out as something for the morning, no breakfast so had to walk into town to find something adding an additional cost that we thought we had already been included. Average room and amenities, bathroom tired. We spent 3 wonderful weeks travelling around Sicily and this is the only accommodation we wished we had changed.

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that gets served outside on your individual patio/terrace. We selected our breakfast choices (savory and sweet options available) from a menu the night before as well as our preferred time interval for the employees to set up the lovely display. Keep in mind that the B&B is about 15-minute walk from the historic Cefalu city center where the beach and cathedral are located. However, we loved that this was a slightly more isolated, quieter location and retreat from all the action. There is a main central road from the property directly to the city center that you can walk alongside while admiring views of the sea the entire time and it felt extremely safe and was well-lit at night.

We had no hot water. We had mentioned it to the staff, they assured us it would be resolved but it never was.

We enjoyed our one night at A Tonnara - we did find it a bit tricky to find and also, it is a full 20 minute walk into Cefalu. But, the view and the quietness of the room were wonderful and I can easily recommend it for value for money :-)

We had room with no view so disappointing although private small terrace up flight of steps ok. Couldn’t plug in there kettle in kitchen area poor design. Probably ok when staying in summer but felt cold and no seating inside apart from bed.

We were greeted by a very friendly host who offered to make us breakfast to have in our room the next morning due to our early departure. This was very well received by us. She also recommended a great restaurant and booked us a table too. We felt very welcome and will definitely return. The room had a wonderful view of the cove and it could been seen from the bed. We will be going back as soon as we are in the area. Only a few minutes walk from Cefalu historic centre and idyllic position. The room was well appointed and very clean. Awesome B&B.

Es war alles perfekt. Nettes Personal und habe ein Upgrade erhalten.

The staff was most accommodating to our every request be it for a bedside light, multiple requests for directions, or double cappuccinos in the morning. It was a quiet respite in a busy touristy area. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

From the moment we arrived we felt very at home due to Roberta and the staff there. Amazing views from our room and a delicious breakfast. We look forward to returning to Cefalu again.

Super dejligt, lille sted, med en fantastisk udsigt. Ca. 900 m. til den gamle del af byen, som i øvrigt er bilfri ( bortset fra beboere).

Très belle étape au calme, légèrement à l'extérieur du centre historique, mais facilement accessible à pied. Une vue magnifique sur la mer et la marina

We were a bit disappointed of the distance to the beach as the photos implied it is closer. However a nice view of the sea. Be aware that the breakfast is served room by room in 15 mins interval. We were last to check in and got our breakfast 09.30. It was too late for us as we should leave and move on. The staff was very nice and supportive
