Beautiful view from the NOLA room. The bar was right under us but can’t even hear anything from it. The parking is first come first serve basis on the streets. Restaurant is good, but had to order to go because the floor gets packed fast so plan ahead or if you have kids, order early. The room was gorgeous overlooking the river and the mountains, the bath has an oversized cat’s claw bathtub that is a must soak after a long drive. Over all our stay was awesome!

Overall the experience at this hotel is average. Certainly not the 4 star rating it has noted. Rooms are sparsely decorated, with very little amenities. No Closet, No Full length mirror, no phone in the room. If you need to reach the front desk, you have to look it up on the web and call in - I would suggest a dedicated line for guests to reach staff, amenities such as water in the room and perhaps a mini bar option rather than just an empty fridge. Elevator was broken, no bell service or assistance offered guests to haul their luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Staff is very quick to make your problem or request your issue rather than offering assistance. Restaurant is delicious and lots of fun and the location is lovely. It would take very little to elevate guests experience and gain retention for return visits.

No regular coffee in the room or the lobby. Only expresso in the room. Also, very limited parking. Beautiful views and great location with walking path next to the water. Restaurant was convenient and the staff was excellent. The food was very good.

The hotel was beautiful. The lication was excellent. On the river with accessible hiling trails. Sitting out on the porch in our rocking chairs was so relaxing. The only complaint was the elavator was out of service and we had 3 flights of stairs.

The property was beautiful. Staff terrific. Food and beverage great. We checked in after dark, then we woke up and discovered that in the beautiful morning sun our room was filthy. The furniture was worn and stained. Fingers prints and spills. Mildewy shower curtain. We paid for a premium room with a gorgeous view and couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Balcony off the room was wonderful (even if some neighbors sat down in front of our window near midnight to have a boisterous conversation. They left when I asked them to), with the view and sounds of the Arkansas River. Love the restaurant and bar, and the location is wonderful. Parking is free but also whatever you can find around rather than specific to the hotel. Bathroom is very nice but the room itself seems like they ran out of budget and finished it up, or didn’t, accordingly. It’s sparse. Wifi was spotty at best which doesn’t matter in general to us but I had to do a little work and it was useless and only worked intermittently. Overall, we’d certainly stay again.

The location is very nice but some of the furnishings in the room seemed rather cheap. Also for $375 a night I would’ve thought they could at least put a microwave in the room as well as some thing to hold your suitcases. It’s a nice hotel, but I’m not sure it’s quite worth the money. I have stayed in nicer places for less money.

We stayed in the chateau area of the hotel. Absolutely loved having the little area to ourselves and being able to walk down to the river. All the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived early but the girl at the front desk was very nice and let us check in early because our room happened to be ready. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and had a great waiter and amazing food. The only negative I could say about the property was the construction. We stayed on a weekend so there was no construction happening and it didn't bother us at all but I'm just putting it out there for anyone that reads this review that there is construction happening at the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location near mainstreet and the river! It was perfect for the wedding we were attending. The lack of 5 stars was the staff, not personable (except for the manager, she was great!). They seemed bothered by us dropping by front desk to even check in or ask a question.

Beautiful hotel! The only glitch for us was unloading our car. There was no one to help us and the door did not open automatically and there was no specific unloading parking space with a cut in the curb to allow us to roll our suitcases. Once in, it was a wonderful stay!

The check in process was disappointing. Booked two river view rooms and the front desk person did not mention that they were going to downgrade one of the rooms, until we alerted them that the reservation was for two river view rooms. They then said that the second river front room that we were supposed to receive wasn't available because the previous guest hadn't checked out in time, and at that point said that the only thing they could do was to provide us with a $50 food & beverage credit for the inconvenience, which was the price difference between the river front room and downgraded room. Upon further reluctance to take that option, they were able to provide us with two river front rooms. Did not appreciate the non-mention of the situation initially and trying to pass off the downgraded room as if that is what we had originally booked.

Gorgeous hotel right next to the river. Happy with everything. The only suggestion I have is to put up acoustical panels (or more soft finishes) in the restaurant to absorb sound. It was unnecessarily loud, so we ended up going someplace else to eat.

We stayed here and it was so great! Rooms are smaller but the balcony is amazing. We woke up in the morning to a wonderful view and drank mimosas outside our room in our pj’s and Uggs. Restaurant has no reservations and fills up fast, but it’s a prime place for Buena Vista so act fast. You can walk to every restaurant where possible if you’re a walker 15 minutes MAX one way. Super trendy, very clean and safe. Bed was so cozy and I am PICKY! Do yourself a favor and just book the stay.
