Very nice, basic motel. Tiny but adequate facilities for ablution. Rooms much nicer than the photos suggest. Reasonably convenient. Fairly quiet at night.

Terrible service. Tiny place. Office reeked of curry. Rude manager. I had prepaid & showed him the payment on my phone. He insisted I hand him my credit card. He charged the wrong amount & then came to me w a receipt w a different amount. I pray I was not charged twice The room was minuscule. Fridge & microwave we’re unplugged so I had to crawl under a table to plug them in. Sink was in an alcove w faucet in need of a screen as water spurted everywhere. Bathroom was also so small w just a toilet & a shower stall barely large enough for a person TV did not work. No ice available. He sent us to the liquor store to buy ice. The area is lovely but no recommendations for food & nothing close

This motel was exactly what you would expect from an older motel off a highway. It was clean and the grounds were very nice. The furniture was dated. The hot water was great! The sink area was okay. Microwave, television, and refrigerator were very handy. Nearby high end bakery and light fare. Needs a vending machine for water, soda, and snacks. Ice would have been good to have as well-maybe a central vending area could be created.

The other reviews aren't fair or true. This place is within minutes of the Appalachian Trail. If you want a basic room for a day hiking weekend, this is a good choice.

Updated motel with a comfortable bed and decent wifi. Not too much road noise. Nearby market offers excellent coffee and pastries to get your morning going. 10 am checkout is counterbalanced by early check-in.

It's a simple, no frills whatsoever, motel in a tiny town. Cute cafe nearby and lots of hiking trails. It's run by a family and they do a good job of keeping it clean and tidy. We had no issues at all. The shower is clean and has hot water. The room has a fridge. The beds are good enough and the linens all smelled fresh. The AC works. No stale smells. The only downside is the price. For the life of me, I had never come across a motel that wanted to charge $250/night for 2 beds. Even after booking through Expedia, when I called to confirm, the owner tried to tell me he can determine or change the price. I didn't understand what that was about because when I got there, he just charged me and didn't argue. I paid a little over $200, which is still way too much but it's a supply and a demand situation

While the people who run the place were friendly, the towels had makeup stains, the shower didn’t drain, and sink had hair in it, and the sheets were very poor quality.

When checked in room there was hair in shower and sink area.

Would definitely stay again! Friendly staff, very clean room, very comfortable bed, extremely clean, climate control in room was very effective and had remote control option! Wi-Fi strong, nice TV. Microwave and mini fridge in room worked great too. Private entryway room. Room had cozy, yet updated feel. Highly recommend!

The room was clean on the surface, but there was spider webs in literally every corner of this room, many of them with the spiders still living there. The beds, shower and sink all had hair in or around them. There were dead roaches in the sink drawer and bathroom. The toilet was difficult to get to flush correctly. It was pretty disgusting.

Paid $150 for a night but I wouldn’t even pay $50 if I had seen the place before. Booked 5 months before the trip and they called me they don’t have a room 2 weeks prior. So I asked why and then they said they would give me the room. When I entered the room it was stinky with cigarette smell and cheap air freshener. Things were dusty and extremely outdated. Super tiny shower and toilet right next to each other. The sink smelled very bad. Overall, spooky and dirty place I will never come back.

Carpets not vaccumm, fridge I two rooms were moldy. Had to clean. Beds are hard as a rock. Rooms smell musty.

I find it hard to believe they don’t know what we paid for. We were told to go to our room and use key swipe card. Door was open and freezing inside. There was hair all over our sheets, pillows and blankets as well as the sink and shower. Cobwebs on ceiling, dirty towels. Walls are paper thin so we heard the neighbors loud conversations and tv all night. Oils never stay here again or recommend this place!

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay before going to Skip Barber racing school at lime rock. I was super disappointed to find dog and human hair all over the bedding, pillows , sheets , sink and shower. Not sure I would recommend it to others.

It's great for just sleeping only. It was a single bed which was big for 2 and a single chair. Private Bathroom, shower, sink, tv, ac, cable, fridge, microwave, side table, office table.

The room was probably the smallest American hotel room I had ever used. But it was great for what i was using it for, which was sleeping. Needs more outlets, and a larger shower with a higher shower head (only at shoulder height).

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to. Read my details and see what you think. When we got there, we found our door wouldn't lock, even when deadbolted. The deskperson acted surprised, but since they offered to open our door, I am convinced they knew. All they could offer us, literally, was a stick. They said they had no other rooms, despite offering me a $70 upgrade minutes earlier. The dresser was missing a drawer, and badly scuffed. The covering on the desk was warped and bubbling. The shower was dirty, and even had a hair in it. I used the bathroom in the middle of the night, and when I went to wash my hands, there were 2 bugs in the sink. The WiFi was spotty, and the TV hadn't been setup or connected to the WiFi. We connected the TV to the WiFi ourselves, only to have the TV then ask for our email address to enable Roku, so no TV and maybe 1 or 2 local channels. They brought us a Roku remote without being asked, so I assume they also knew our room was missing one (or they got someone elses request confused). There were missing faceplates on electrical outlets as well. I did take a shower, when I noticed how dirty it was. All I can say is that the water was hot. I've past this hotel for many years, going on road trips up route 7, and it was an ideal location and price, but honestly was a bit of a nightmare to stay in. I won't return, unless I see a slew of 'what an improvement' reviews. It's a real shame.

It was all I needed Hosts were very gracious.

I was a little disappointed to find out that they gave my king reservation away. My husband and I were there for our anniversary, and we had a two (small) bed room instead of one queen.

Need a place for an overnight before a day at Lime Rock. Room clean and pleasant and easy checkin experience. Thanks

Quaint motel in good condition. Friendly and accomodating staff. Safe area so the manager communicated clearly with us and arranged our late check in without issue. (key left in accessible place)

When we arrived we were greeted by a very unfriendly man. Seeing the coffee pot in the lobby, I asked if there would be coffee in the morning. "No!". Innitially given a key to a room that was occupied. When we got to our room, frig had to be plugged in by unplugging a lamp. Room was certainly clean. With a little effort, this motel could really be much better.
