The room was great but no elevator fyi they mixed up our room and another customer walked in on us with another same key. It was upsetting. Mistake by the front desk staff member. The location was good to walk down to the water storefronts and restaurant. Parking is a bit tight but additional room across the street. Overall, we were satisfied but would have liked a compensation in the error. We felt on edge during the stay, like someone else was just going to walk into our room.

Stayed in this motel early in the season. The property was very clean and the reception desk staff were very friendly. Check-in was fast and simple. Stayed in a room upstairs facing the parking lot. Internet speed was fast. There are two level 2 EV charging stations available for guests. I was able to top up the battery for the trip home. Absolutely enjoyed the stay.

Excellent stay! Quick check-in, friendly front desk, clean and well appointed rooms, clean and sanitized bathrooms, adequate parking space in front with EV charging slots and additional parking spaces across the street. What else would you need in a place like Tobermory? Rooms have a mini fridge, a microwave, coffee maker etc. Well, I could use a few usb charging points in the room :)

Our only complaint would have been the parking, by the time we got there , there was 1 place left and not much space. We ended up parking behind in the public parking. But everything else was perfect!

It was located away from the main streets yet close enough to walk into the main part of Tobermory. Although there is no cooking in the rooms, the hotel provided BBQ's and a covered area outside with toasters.

We loved our stay here. It is conveniently located and allowed us to walk around Tobermory without driving. The patio door and balcony made all the difference. Allowing fresh air in or sitting on the balcony made it feel like a home away from home. We brought things to cook some meals and the picnic area was great for that. Friendly and helpful staff plus free EV charging station!!! If we come back, definitely staying here again.

We had a good barbecue time in front of hotel In the room there was a small sink beside of refrigerator so it was convenient for washing some foods too. The frontier was so nice and welcome.

Very convenient location for the town of Tobermory. Room was clean and good size. Staff were very helpful. BBQs were available if one chose to cook food (we did not). Price was very fair for the time of year that we were visiting. Rooms had windows facing parking lot which could be noisy if you choose to have your window open. No elevator access for upper floors. Lighting on stairways was poor and arguable dangerous as a consequence.

This is our 4th year at the Heights. Very nice hotel. Nice staff - stayed up late for our arrival. I will say that the rooms have a slight mildew smell. It was there last year and again this year.

Clean, fresh-smelling room. No musty smell, no cobwebs or dust balls, no rusty appliances, no unsightly stain marks on walls, carpets, bedding, toilets. Air-conditioner is clean and working well, cools the room well, with no dust on the air-con panes. A tad noisy, but that is probably what all these room air-conditioners sound like. Coffee-maker, microwave, fridge are all clean. Almost like new. Towels provided are fresh-smelling, not musty. Just a wee bit surprised that although housekeeping cleaned the room, emptied the trash, replenished supplies and towels, they did not make the bed! Hmmm ... maybe they thought someone was still sleeping under the sheets? Anyway, it was an overall positive experience, and for those intending to take the Bruce Anchor Cruise glass-bottom boat to Flowerpot Island, they are just next door to the motel! The motel is located just a little off the main road into Tobermory (Highway 6), and also near the main street of Tobermory itself. Hence, very accessible, and yet, also very peacefully quiet as it is not facing the main roads.

Ein ruhig gelegenes Motel in einer traumhaften Gegend. Sehr nettes Personal. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, groß und sauber. 2 Queensize Betten sind sehr angenehm. für den Preis echt in Ordnung. Allerdings ist das Haus sehr hellhörig.

Hotel was clean, room was big, staff was great, and beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. I have given it 5 stars but there is one problem. Rooms are not sound proof. People in the adjacent room we're making a lot of noise until 1 am and I could hear it so loud in my room that we could not sleep. I called front desk and they helped resolving the issue. But same people again woke up at 4:30 am and started making same loud noise Other than no sound proofing and my bad luck of having noisy neighbor, it was a great hotel

We were very pleased with our spacious and attractive room. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only criticism was that lighting was rather dim so we had to move to be under the light to read. It was a perfect choice as it was slightly off the main road so nice and quiet, but within walking distance of anything in town, so we never had to move the car.

Clean and spacious. Good location - easy walk to shops and restaurants. Amenities in room good. Faucet in bath tub EXTREMELY stiff to open, to the point that we thought we were going to pull it off the wall - but still no water. When we let the staff in the office know, they were a bit dismissive, implying we didn’t know how to work it. They said they’d look at it though, but don’t know if they did because it was just as stiff later - though we finally got the water to turn on. A more conciliatory approach would have been appreciated. Overall, a good stay though.

Room was comfortable and location was perfect. Easy 5 minute walk to all the shops and boat excursions. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Staff was friendly and very attentive. We had one small issue with our room and it was rectified within minutes. Excellent stay!

We were able to check in early, which was so much appreciated! This property is close to the Bruce trail, to the shops and the marina (our boat cruise); it was nice to be able to stop by the room and then go back out again. The motel room was clean and spacious

The room was very clean but lacked some necessities. There was no closet space in the room and no other options to hang clothing. There wasn’t even a hook to hang a jacket on. The bathroom had one light, so it was a little dim. The tub was amazing for soaking after being in the cold all day. The staff were helpful and quick to respond. On our first night, we had some very loud upstairs neighbors. I called the office, and it was taken care of immediately. We didn’t use the cooking area, but the staff had a little outdoor kitchen area, complete with toasters and utensils, for guests. There were not a lot of restaurant options, so it was good to know we had an option to prepare some foods there. The motel is away from restaurants and shops in the harbor, but it was an easy walk.

After being on a road trip for 12 days we found this room to be exactly what we needed with outdoor space to sit and enjoy the evening. The room was clean, the beds were pretty good. Bathroom and kitchen area were well appointed.
