Nantan city, Miyama-cho town nestled in the village of Saba-kaido, it is a road that connects Wakasa and Kyoto. River Yura's limpid stream, field, mountain forest and lot of private house with historic thatched roof are all well blended where guests can enjoy a beautiful view of rural landscape. A lot of untouched woods are remained in famous Ashiu old-growth forest located at the eastern extremity of town. You can go hiking on Hachigamine, Mount Tokin and Choroga-take. Fully enjoy the Japanese cherry in the spring, lightning bug in the summer, autumn leaves in the autumn and landscape of snow in the winter. Visitors can also enjoy your seasonal pursuit such as Haiku, camera and painting. We offer delicious sweetfish dishes and wild boar stew.Property Access By train: From Kyoto station to Sonobe station on JR line and change for JR Fukuchiyama line to Wachi station ( total 90 min, 950 yen ). From Wachi station, please use pick-up service ( bookings are essential ). Before you get on the train at Kyoto station on arrival date, please call us again. We can see what time you will arrive at Wachi station and you can go YH smoothly.
