Candlewick Inn and Suites

The exterior of the building is old, but the rooms (at least the more expensive ones to book) have been redone very nicely! Felt very homey and elegant, especially with the high-end wood sink counter. Not a huge room (was smaller than looked in photos) but ample in area. Sufficient insulation such that room was quite quiet. Surrounding area is safe. Parking spaces are too small though; lines should be redrawn. We had to park in a non-spot at night. I’d overall recommend though! :)

Nicely updated. LOTS OF RULES IF YOU HAVE A PET! The pool was randomly closed, so we didn’t get to try that unfortunately. Comfortable beds.

Our room must have been recently redone bed seemed new as did the flooring. Very clean small salt water pool to enjoy

Our stay would have been wonderful, but the walls are very thin and there is a gap at the adjoining door between rooms. I had my child with me and we had to listen to a couple having way too much fun if you know what I mean literally all night long I had on the White Noise machine and the TV and we could still hear it. Lol maybe they could work on insulating somehow a little better. Also, the door came open when I was in the shower and scared me to death when I opened the door and the door was open to the outside thank goodness I had the latch closed so it couldn’t open all the way. The pool and hot tub were not in working condition but the woman that worked there was so super sweet even met me when it wasn’t her shift to give me ice.

The rooms where very nice, however there was no microwave or iron. The parking lot was very narrow and cramped and the property next door was trashy. It's sad how the city government has let the town become very dilapidated and trashy. They are doing nothing to preserve the history and making it so expensive to rent or repair any of the properties. Overall the service was excellent and the staff friendly and we were satisfied with our stay. Thank You Candlewick!!

Parking is awful

The executive suite is really a small, well-appointed apartment with a full kitchen, living room, fireplaces in both the living room and bedroom. Modern decor offset by a cute retro full-sized refrigerator and microwave. The outdoor seating area is quiet and peaceful on the edge of the woods. We were visited by several deer and an armadillo while relaxing with a cocktail by the fire pit. A great contrast to the bustle of the historic downtown area just a couple miles away. Best of both worlds! They offer no contact check in with a PIN code for your door. I would definitely stay here again.

Check out the back end of the property and youll find cushioned swinging chairs on swivels with a couple benches and a fire basin. They even strung lights up on the tree next to it. There are plenty of places to hang outside solo or as a group, but that little area was the best!

Stairs to the room a little sketchy.

The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. My room looked nothing like the photos and was very dated. The carpets are in need of serious shampooing. I would stay there again but I wouldn’t walk around barefoot.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Candlewick Inn. The room was very clean and it was nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend staying here. It’s conveniently located close to downtown and lots of restaurants nearby.

I got a call the week before saying our penthouse room had been flooded and was no longer available. They offered a different room. Pics of the new room looked good. We arrive later than planned due to traffic. The room was fine. There was dirt on the floor but that wasnt a deal breaker. We noticed the coffee pot but there wasnt coffee or cups. There were 3 or 4 creamers and a coffee cup collar. The coffee pot and coffee station were covered in dust. You had to request maid service by hanging out the tag that has do not disturb on one side and maid service requested on the other. This we did not know. So no clean room for us on saturday. Hubs went to the office and got dry towels and thats when we found out about maid service requests. Ive never stayed in a hotel that I had to request maid service. So dirty floors were going to be for a Sunday. We put the maid service tag out sunday. They literally brought clean towels and took the wet ones. Floor was still dirty and trash was full. The cob web was still on the overhead light as was the spider egg sack was still in the corner of the ceiling. The shower curtain didnt have a liner so every time we showered the curtain got wet as did the floor. The sheet on the king bed was really small a d we found it all night. Bed were really firm. A little to firm for us. After getting annoyed by the lack of maid service, I started really looking. The place was dirty. Build up on soap dispenser.

Our room was super clean and very modern/updated, with super easy check in/door access right on your phone The area around the motel could have been a bit more tidy, looked like the steps hadn't been sweep for a while and could use a coat of paint Overall was very pleased and will stay again, mattress was sooooo comfortable, slept like a baby

Very clean room, friendly staff

Our room was exactly as pictured and I loved that it had plenty of throw blankets too! Exceptionally clean and accommodating, and management was very friendly.

You definitely get what you pay for. I did find a couple bugs (dead and alive) in various places, including in one of the beds. But other than that, it seemed pretty clean. It was a good, cheap place to stay and gave us a comfortable bed to sleep on so it did the job!

The mattres was hard as a rock and the floor was dirty. Didnt look like it had been cleaned or mopped before we arrived. Other than that it was great. Location was great and we loved that there was chairs so we could sit outiside.

Updated room very clean.

There was hair in the bathtub, on the floor, on the toilet-even on the sheets. Dead bugs on the floor, debris in all the corners and huge dust bunnies under the bed. I asked for maid service and all they did was make the bed after I told her about the filth. No trash emptied. No office people to talk to-nothing. I called the number and got housekeeping. The people in the next room were noisy until very late (midnight) and no one to complain to. Not a good experience at all. The location was the only positive thing.

The room is beautifully redone, the only issue we had was the paper thin walls in between each room. We could hear our neighbors entire conversation and tv program as if we were in the same room. That made it hard to sleep or relax and made me feel like I couldn't make a peep, or else others would be annoyed too. The memory foam bed was also very firm.

Room was newly refurbished and very clean. Mattresses were memory foam but a tad too firm for my liking. Appreciated the extra blankets available at bedside. Television did not cooperate and only pulled up YouTube movies to stream…could not use channel guide or any cable channels.

No fridge, microwave, windows, I had to wipe down the tub, the bed was hard, the room was ok. Nothing amazing, check in was virtual.

They did a nice job remodeling the rooms and definitely upgraded most things. The bed was memory foam but was extremely hard and felt like we were sleeping on the floor after a day or two. With all the other nice touches, we wish the bathroom had a few more upgrades like the shower head and the shower. Shower head was not great and would have been nice to have a better quality one. Wish the staff was a little more friendly and had shared helpful information like the wifi password with us when we checked in.

The hotel room itself was nice. The decor was nice, the bed was comfortable. My husband didn’t like how noisy the AC was but I’m ADHD and I need noise to be able to sleep. I put out the sign for maid service and the maid never came so I had to find her to request more towels. It was in the cheaper end of the hotels around. We had a room that had a connecting room and I could hear everything going on in the connecting room when I was trying to sleep. 4/10

We stayed in a newly remodeled signature room. It was clean l, comfortable and so cute. If staying here make sure you get a newly remodeled room!

For the price, I think this was a good stay. Had trouble getting into the room, but staff was helpful.

The receptionist Kim is so kind and pleasant!!! Late check out? No prob. Extra coffee? Sure! They are so clean and you can park right in front of your door. They have chairs to sit right out your door also. We will stay again!!!

Excellent hotel, super cute remodeled room. Comfy bed, all the amenities. The lady who checked me in was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is our favorite place to stay - we even have our favorite room. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. This is the only place I’ll stay these days!

We did not stay in that DUMP! It was dark and there was no office to check in. I never received a confirmation and was unable to reach anyone by phone. It was too dangerous and we did not feel safe. The fact we could not check in prevented any stay.

We love Eureka Springs and we found this hotel well situated to explore the town. Would definitely stay again. The ease to check in on my phone before arriving and having a door code was perfect.

The owner/manager went out of her way for us when there was a problem through hotels.com. She offered to let us check in and said that she would deal with the problem on her end! The property was so comfortable. The building we were in had a LOVELY deck in the back and could see the most beautiful fire pit and chairs on the edge in the woods. It turned out to be the best stay of our week long road trip. We go to Eureka Springs often and from now on this will be our home away from home when we are in town. LOVE this hotel and the wonderful people there!

Very easy to get in and out w th door code sent via text message, but there is no staff on site. Getting hand soap into the room when we arrived was an ordeal.

The motel was close to downtown and easy to find. The only thing I had a 'problem' with was on the pictures, they showed a cute little outdoor seating area which I didn't find on the property. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The Candlewck is nestled back against a beautiful forest. The room was retro with the basic amenities. We enjoyed the jetted tub. Several restaurants and 2 convenience stores were within walking distance. The only complaint is the mattress and pillows.

We were on bikes and the staff was very hospitable offering rags to wipe our bikes down when we needed them or just anything we needed a bike parking area for them would be a huge improvement there weee several places to eat within walking distance
