When parking in back, there are no directions to the lobby. The walkway leads to the middle of the hotel, so turn right and go down the stairs and to the right to get to the lobby.

The room was starting to show its age but was well maintained, quiet and very clean. All amenities I look for were present (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, adequate free parking.) Breakfast was varied and bountiful.

Underwhelming breakfast that didn't really have enough space. Shower was really slippery and way too high, and a/c was noisy. It was also really hard to get to the parking. However, the room had personality and the garden looked quite nice.

Floyd is a great little town and at Floyd Hotel we had a very large and well-appointed room. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Short walk to main street of Floyd and it’s famous country store (live music every night). Plenty of free parking.

Our room was very clean and spacious. We loved the rocking chairs outside of our room. It’s close to downtown so we could walk to eat & shop. The employees were very friendly. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

We really enjoyed the property. We visited several years ago, and a lot of upgrades have been completed since then. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, and we were able to walk everywhere. A very enjoyable visit!

Super and very generously priced hotel within walking distance of downtown Floyd. The rooms are spacious and clean! We didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast, but the grounds are well maintained and the walk into town is easy. We’d love to stay here again!

This is an exceptional hotel. The decor is appealing. The property is exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was over the top. I highly recommend the Floyd Hotel.

Sheets and towels were yellowish. Didn't look clean. I booked thru Expedia and realized the price was $8 less if I booked direct with hotel. The guy that checked me in said he could do nothing about it.

The hotel is fantastic. Staff very friendly and the hot breakfast was not expected but most definitely welcomed. Location you could not ask for better. Everything is in walking distance and restaurant we ate in was wonderful. Bad part….mold at the bottom of the shower curtain.

We would love to have stayed more than one night - Hotel Floyd is quirky, comfortable and just minutes walk from shops, eateries and the awesome Floyd Country Store. We were in one of the ‘back porch’ rooms, accessed by a pleasant shared terrace for sitting out. Our bathroom was pretty tiny but it was clean and more than adequate with plenty of towels. Nice to have two comfortable chairs rather than just one. There was a coffee maker in the room and you could also get coffee in the shared lounge in the main building. The hotel felt really individual and staff were lovely and helpful throughout. Breakfast wasn’t the best we’ve had at this price point but it wasn’t the worst either and there was always someone clearing up and replenishing food where necessary. It filled us up as we headed out into the tail end of Hurricane Helene. Just one point - we appreciate toiletries in the bathroom but would have preferred them not to be in single use plastic bottles which are not environmentally friendly.

3rd time staying there. Some of the nicest and most spacious rooms we have ever stayed in. Very fairly priced for what you get. Staff could not be nicer and VERY conveniently located for the main attraction in town. Deserves a 5 rating.

Hotel Floyd is the perfect spot to stay while in Floyd, for music, shopping or dining. The rooms are all unique, but fully stocked. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was a surprise treat too! We’ll be back.
