Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Corry

This hotel has definitely had issues. It's more training and lack of amenities. We checked in for our stay after a very long drive and the receptionist was very nice. We noticed a sign indicating they unless you stayed more than 3 days, there would be no housekeeping. You would need to ask if you needed anything. The breakfast the next morning was ok, nothing special and the room was very clean which is much appreciated. You could buy various snacks, but they have remotes in the rooms with streaming options and no streaming or pay per view movies. The workout room was freezing! The worst part about all of this, they overcharge you! We had already been charged for our 3 nights stay and I asked if they needed additional for a deposit/ incidentals. I was told no. When we arrived back home, my daughter had two pending holds on her account that equaled more than her stay! I had 200 additional held! This has been for over 6 days now! I tried to call the hotel multiple times upon realizing this and they never answered the phone. It asked you enter a remote access number. I filed a complaint with Hotels.com when they couldn't get through to them and they said they would ctc them via email to get in touch with us. Cobblestone reservations did the same. Nothing. Finally, I reached the manager Megan today who offered no apologies and said there is nobody she reports too! Every hotel has a District or Regional Manager. She was nice, but offered no help or resolution.

Nicely maintained property, good breakfast. The one main drawback is that the building lacks an elevator, and the only stairs are at either end of the building. If you only have a one bag, that's not a big real, but for families or people with mobility challenges, be aware of this and request a first floor room.

Clean simple basic hotel loved the Jacuzzi tub.

Have stayed here multiple times. Very clean. Only thing that is a pain is there isnt an elevator to get to the second floor.

Easy parking. Grounds were clean and neat

Staff are extremely nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I also enjoy the whirlpool tub available in some rooms for a slightly higher price.

Nice property! We stayed here while attending a family camp at Miracle Mountain Ranch. It was very convenient to be only 15 minutes away and have good accommodations! We always get nervous when there is no Hilton or Marriott around, but we were satisfied here. The only thing missing is an adequate workout room.

Moldy smell

The staff were friendly but the room itself needed to be cleaned. The toilet was filthy and my shower became a bath fast. The hotel guy tried to give us another room while we were checking out a day early due to an incoming snow/ice storm. He was apologetic but we will not be staying there again.

Clean. Spacious & comfortable.Good breakfast though small eating area. Although it says nonsmoking, it definitely smelled like our room was smoked in.

This place was very clean. The staff were all very nice!! We will be staying here every time we come to the area..

This is second time I have stayed at Cobblestone inn in Corry. The inn is definitely seeing wear the beds are uncomfortable, lumpy. The bathroom’s are unsafe no grab bars, the toilets are very low. The hotels in Pennsylvania are still only coming in every 3 days to clean if you ask. Though staff very friendly giving clean towels and extra garbage bags when asked. The Inn is only one in area which is outside of Erie though convenient for me regarding location to my families wedding and price very reasonable, staff was friendly and lots of choices for free breakfast.

The room was clean and nice. However, i was led to believe they had daily housekeeping. Not so. I signed a form thinking I was telling them that i wanted housekeeping daily. After coming back to my room late afternoon and nothing being done, i tried to use the in-room phone. It was not working. I had to call the hotel from my cell phone. I was told that they only clean every 3 days. I asked for towels and was told that she was busy at 7:30 pm. She wasn't very nice and a little annoyed that i asked for towels. She did, however, bring towels up. I was also told to plug the phone in. However, when i did that, the phone blinked constantly. So, now i know why it was unplugged. We checked in on Thursday. Saturday would have been the 3rd day. Guess what? Still no housekeeping. No coffee left. Garbage overflowing by Sunday. Glad to be checking out. So much for small town service.

Upon arriving, the two front desk clerks were busy with a new computer system and we weren't even greeted for at least five minutes. That was a bit weird and unwelcoming. They didn't even glance up at us or say give us a few minutes. The pillows were horrific -- hard as rocks. All night, the bottom sheet kept getting untucked. The rooms were terribly damp and humid even before we showered in the morning. The breakfast was nice and the lobby and dining area was well appointed. We appreciated the Seattle's Best Coffee.

We weren’t in room much since we had a wedding then reception after checking in. Beds comfortable. Liked amenities in room. Breakfast the next morning was nice. Wasn’t pleased no elevators in this hotel. Had to lug everything up 14 steps with a bad hip. Didn’t like they charged you for a safe we never ever used either.

Had a nice stay overall, super clean and the location appears new or to have been recently updated. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and kind. The breakfast was quite good. I did not know the location didn't have an elevator, but the stairwell was not steep and it was wide enough to get up and down quite easily with luggage and such. My only criticism is the bed pillows, which were a tad hard for my tastes.

It was good stay but the wifi didn't work well on the far end of the hotel where our room was. Other than that, great stay and great customer service!

The whirlpool was great shower control didn't work but half way.

We chose to stay as we had a football game in Kane and a tour of PennWest- Edinboro this weekend and it was conveniently located. Beds we’re comfortable, water was warm with nice pressure. Just what we needed.

10/10 hotel experience. Kim at the front desk was the best!

First was told they didn't have my reservation, until i showed my confirmation. Then they said my credit card was denied. Total reservation was canceled and we went somewhere else with no problems. Same credit card with no problems. So we DID NOT STAY THERE

The establishment is A+. Andy who is the proprietor is hands-on, as well as the staff from Kim , Laurie and Megan they make you feel like your family. I have been staying at the Corry Cobblestone for six years . I’ve always been happy with my stay, but now the new owner Andy has made my stay even that much better! I also have to give a shout out to Kim and Laurie. They always greet me and my friends with a smile ask if everything is OK and my answer is always the same. Perfect!! ! When I was leaving Sunday morning I was trying to bring everything to my car at once as I went out the front door Andy was coming in he actually took the time to take a couple of my items to my car and help me put it in the trunk. If that’s not hands-on, I don’t know what is ? To all the Corry Cobblestone staff you’re the best. Ps I want this to be acknowledge …on my next visit I will ask if this was acknowledge to the Owner and staff Thank you.

On the July 21 at 6:30PM, I presented myself at the check-in desk at the Cobblestone Inn in Corry. The check-in desk had no idea what reservation I was talking about. I showed the check-in desk person the email confirmation on my iPhone, and received the response "That reservation has been canceled; we have no rooms". I asked who canceled it and when. To both questions, I received the same response: "That reservation has been canceled; we have no rooms". The check-in desk either had no additional information or was unwilling to share it. I did not cancel the Cobblestone Inn reservation. As to whether Hotes.com canceled the reservation, I cannot say. I suspect the problem was that I arrived late in the day to an overbooked hotel. I made independent arrangements for that evening, July 21, at a Holiday Inn in North East, PA, about 30 miles further west. That was a very nice place, but inconvenient since Corry was where I needed to be on the morning of the 22nd. Now that I'm home, I notice that there is a pending charge of $205.25 from Cobblestone Inn & Suites on my AmEx account. If that charge becomes a posted charge rather than disappearing, I will vigorously protest the charge.

Stayed there for a Softball tourney in Union City. Walmart is right across the street, the staff were outstanding, and the room was clean. It is dated, and there is no elevator but it was perfect for the weekend. When we check in Friday night, I discovered breakfast didn't start til 7am on the weekends. I was bummed, and told the (very nice) front desk lady that they played at 8am and we would be out of the hotel before 7, but it was ok, we would find breakfast somewhere. We got up the next morning and low and behold, they had breakfast out at 6:30!! Both mornings!! If we ever find ourselves playing up there again, we will definately be back!

I have my stay here an overall 3 rating. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming! The breakfast was mediocre but it was hot! Not too many options but that’s expected. The staff was not welcoming to me at all! They didn’t greet me when I arrived and they tried to talk down to me! The staff went out of their way not to have to interact with me unless they had to! They made sure to put their heads down as I passed by them or made sure to carefully watch my moves as I entered the snack room area! I probably won’t book here again, I didn’t feel too comfortable here!!!

It is a very nice quiet place to stay.

Quiet and clean; convenient to visiting relatives over the border in NYS. Walmart across the street for easy shopping. A very pleasant, restful stay!

Was very impressed by the Cobblestone Inn. The hotel was clean at a reasonable price. Walmart was across the street which provided a place for food and replenishment of supplies. It's a little bit off the beaten path for our drive but only added a little bit of time to our trip. Driving through the rural Pennsylvania country side to get there was like taking a scenic route detour. It's located in a small town. Being pet friendly was also much appreciated. Overall a pleasant experience and will return again when we pass through the area.

The only complaint we had was the lady working the morning shift during breakfast was not friendly. We felt like we was a bother and like she was just waiting for us to leave. There was not a lot of close dining options but pleased with the area.

I look for lodging in small communities for ease of finding and departing and more comfort as far as safe parking. This was my second stay. Dining is limited. There is a Wallmart across the street so buying food to return to the room is a possibility.

Always consistently good quality rooms and staff. A little overpriced for the region, but that’s because it’s the only hotel in the area. Poor breakfast, eggs like jelly. But that seems just about everywhere these days.

Very well maintained facilities. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the staff kept it stocked. Nice choices of hot and cold items. I’ve stayed at similar hotels over the years, but this was the best maintained of them.
