We stayed 1 night on a cycling trip down the Rhone. Found the hotel staff very hospitable and friendly. Access to secure garage for bike storage was simple. Rooms were fine and very comfortable, though perhaps slightly "tired", though that was not a problem for us. Breakfast was really good, with excellent variety of cereals, bread, eggs, cake and loads more. Location was very handy for the town with bars, restaurants all within easy walking distance. In summary, excellent value for money. I'd happily stay again if passing this way.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nos vélos ont pu être à l'abri dans le garage fermé sans surcoût. Notre chambre donnait sur le Rhône. Jolie vue sur le vignoble de Tain l'Hermitage en face. Aucun bruit malgré la route traversante, il y a du triple vitrage. Petit déj très complet avec des produits maison. Nous vous recommandons de réserver ici si vous êtes de passage à Tournon ;-)

Vi hade ett fint rim mot floden. Hotellet ligger perfekt i staden. Charmigt men lite slitet. Det finns ett par tre platser i garaget men det är mycket trångt där. Vi valde att köpa till frukost och den var ok.

Very good family-run hotel with some rooms overlooking the river Rhone. Friendly service and great breakfast. Very convenient location for exploring the area on foot both sides of the river and by car for the Train de l'Ardeche and Doux valley. Parking very tight and limited around hotel but large free car park nearby. Highly recommended.

Prachtig oud hotel wel gedateerd maar voorzien van een lift. Lift direct aan de rivier met een prachtig uitzicht wel aan een drukke weg. Prima bellen. Alleen de badkamer is een beetje problematisch omdat het douchegordijn naar beneden valt en de warme water koud erg vast zit.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le personnel sympathique. Nous avons apprécié la chambre propre et climatisée. Les luminaires des escaliers menant aux chambres sont très beaux. Le petit déjeuner était très complet avec des produits maison et un grand choix. Nous nous sommes régalés. L'emplacement est idéal : au bord du Rhône, près des commerces et restaurants.

Tournon sur Rhone is a regular overnight stop for us. Hotel le Chateau is an old building splendidly situated overlooking the Rhone. We were a little concerned that next to the main road it might be noisy but the double (or triple?) glazing was excellent - we didn't hear any traffic. The breakfast options were outstanding. Will definitely re-book on our next trip.

Perfecte stop op doorreis of voor langer verblijf. Mooie locatie aan de Rhône, restaurants in oude stad op loopafstand. Hotel is charmant en van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede bedden, ruime familiekamer met goede climatisering (het was 38 graden de dag dat we aankwamen). Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit.

Haben zum zweiten Mal im 4 Bett Zimmer für eine Nacht übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross, sauber, alles dabei. Auch Parkplatz kann man dazu buchen, was sehr praktisch ist.

Rigtig godt hotel lige ved den gamle bro, der går over til Tain L’Hermitage. Vi har boet der 2 gange med charmerende udsigt til floden, broen og vinbjergene. Meget venlig betjening og super morgenmad endda til lav pris. Alt pænt og rent og hyggelig atmosfære. Kommer gerne igen.

Hôtel très bruillant en bord de route avec beaucoup de passage sans fenêtre adapter Hôtesse extrême désagréable qui ne cherche pas de solution pour aider ces hôtes Qui se permet de dire en pleine journée de ferme les voler si on est embêter par le bruit Qui nous ne conseille pas de restau autour de chez elle La décoration ne fait pas tout hélas Qui n’a pas la base de la politesse « bonjour»

It has a fantastic location with an incredible view of the Rhône and Tain l’Hermitage. It’s right next to the footbridge to walk across the Rhône. Most restaurants are easy to walk to, and the owner , Matilda, is very helpful and friendly. She parked us in a private garage.

Hotel med läge vid Rhone. Mycket biltrafik dagtid men lugn natt. Vi hade tur att hitta parkering i närheten av hotellet, fanns annars större parkering på gångavstånd. Bra sängar, ok fransk frukost á 12€. Passar för ett nattstopp på resa.

It has a fantastic location with an incredible view of the Rhône and Tain l’Hermitage. It’s right next to the footbridge to walk across the Rhône. Most restaurants are easy to walk to, and the owner , Matilda, is very helpful and friendly. She parked us in a private garage.

Very good family-run hotel with some rooms overlooking the river Rhone. Friendly service and great breakfast. Very convenient location for exploring the area on foot both sides of the river and by car for the Train de l'Ardeche and Doux valley. Parking very tight and limited around hotel but large free car park nearby. Highly recommended.

Perfecte stop op doorreis of voor langer verblijf. Mooie locatie aan de Rhône, restaurants in oude stad op loopafstand. Hotel is charmant en van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede bedden, ruime familiekamer met goede climatisering (het was 38 graden de dag dat we aankwamen). Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit.

Great location just across the river from Tain. There’s a parking garage which is nice so you don’t have to park on the street.

We stayed 1 night on a cycling trip down the Rhone. Found the hotel staff very hospitable and friendly. Access to secure garage for bike storage was simple. Rooms were fine and very comfortable, though perhaps slightly "tired", though that was not a problem for us. Breakfast was really good, with excellent variety of cereals, bread, eggs, cake and loads more. Location was very handy for the town with bars, restaurants all within easy walking distance. In summary, excellent value for money. I'd happily stay again if passing this way.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le personnel sympathique. Nous avons apprécié la chambre propre et climatisée. Les luminaires des escaliers menant aux chambres sont très beaux. Le petit déjeuner était très complet avec des produits maison et un grand choix. Nous nous sommes régalés. L'emplacement est idéal : au bord du Rhône, près des commerces et restaurants.

Very nice and very clean hotel . The staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was with a view to Rhone and was modern and nicely decorated😊 The parking was full but that was no problem as there was good garage near by. We will be back 😀

Stayed at the hotel for one night on our journey down to south of France. A municipal hotel, not high glamour, but very comfortable, clean, quiet, air con and a brilliant breakfast, which set us up for the onward journey. Would highly recommend.
