Thanks Sandy for being so nice & welcoming upon arrival. The room I stayed in was very nice with all the basic essentials updated bathroom, neat kitchen area plus sink, Smart TV that worked really well, comfortable bed, mini desk to work on the laptop, WiFi worked well, comfortable bed and split air con that was no issues. There was parking right at the door. There was a complimentary breakfast that served up varieties of cereals, toasts and other basics in a nice dining room. If you need to do some clothes washing or drying there's a complimentary service available. Thanks once again Sandy for being so welcoming, friendly and making my stay a real pleasure.

Upon checking in I arrived at 13:45 and was told to come back in 15 minutes. I just did a 600k drive. The guy at reception was rude and I can’t see how he runs this place like that. No milk in the room. Can’t fill kettle. No curtains in room, can’t get to sleep due to noise. The place is worse then your grandmothers house from 1968, rooms are old and need updating. Dead insects on floor. Plenty of other places to stay look there first.

This hotel is just a little tired, the internet doesn't work at all - not at all! I was told the connection might not be great due to an upgrade in progress, however it doesn't work at all and didn't the whole time I was there. A shame, since I was travelling for business. The room was quite cold because the rooms are so think in the fabrication. It all felt cold, uninviting and my curtains/ blinds didn't shut fully, so I didn't feel 100% private and secure. The worst part is actually also a compliment to the hotel; It is very clean, so well-cleaned the room wreaked of cheap, strongly perfumed cleaning products. I actually got allergies from this and found it so hard to be in the room. It messed with my breathing and bothered my eyes. It was overwhelming and the most cheap, awful, strong fragrance. The cleanliness can't be faulted, but please change the products, I felt so unwell in my room and felt like everything smelt of the products when I left. The staff are super lovely, though - thanks for your warmth and kindness!

Obviously newly refurbished. Our room was clean, smart and tidy. Nice modern bathroom. Liked the touch of the “cherry red” towels. Conveniently located close to town centre. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

This is a 5 star review of a 3 star hotel - it is exactly what you'd expect for the money but with the added bonus of a free breakfast, and to boot, the breakfast exceeded our expectations, including fresh fruit and a very decent muesli. A good range of tea bags ensured I was well catered for, although I did try the coffee machine (I went back to my tea very quickly)
