What a fabulous friendly place. We came on Friday night when they were having a charity night quiz. What an amazing atmosphere the people were just so lovely. We’ll be back again and hopefully join in this time. The landlady Clair had seen us standing and came over and found us a table. Although we didn’t have tickets for the quiz we felt very much a part of it Thank you

Breakfast offered a varied menu . Big plates , ideal before setting out on an adventure.The staff were without exception very helpful . We had bikes . They dont have an enclosed or dedicated space but we locked them at the rear of the property . We needed to park on the street . This was not a problem whilst we stayed .

Lovely big bed and excellent plumbing. Practical room and slightly dated decor. Window onto narrow yard with almost no view. Good quality blinds and thick heavy curtains. Warm with effective radiator.
