Quaint little Inn. People were very friendly. Beds were a perfect TEN. No elevator. So dragging all our luggage up the stairs was no fun. Free breakfast was very nice. A motorcycle gang was staying there the weekend we were at the Inn, and they started their Harleys up nice and early. Very uncool. The good, the bad

I was amazed there is no elevator in the building and yet the suite was on the second floor. We had projects to complete that required hauling suitcases, food and projects up the staircase, slow and tedious to make 4-5 trips to settle in and to leave.

The hotel doesn't seem like much from the outside, however, inside is very nice. Rooms are very bigand clean, free breakfast was great, plenty of free parking, staff were very friendly and its about 25 minutes away from Nauvoo. Only issue is that there is no elevator to the second floor.

The hotel is pet friendly which was very nice when traveling with your dog. I did not see any dog feces on the grounds which surprised me. The breakfast was a nice variety but the eggs and sausage gravy were very bland. The apple and banana were fresh and delicious.

Did not stay. No elevator & 2nd floor room was dealbreaker. Hotel had no record of my prepaid reservation. Clerk very nice, apologetic & helpful. Was able to get me a room but again, no elevator was a deal breaker so ended up leaving & booking room at Hampton inn in Keokuk. Cobblestone exterior was a big turn off also. Siding in very poor shape

The pm desk clerk was very accommodating. I stayed one night and left and ended up returning for a second night. I ended up staying in the same room. The room was clean—however the trash hadn’t been removed from the previous stay. (I had checked out and it just happened I returned and got the same room). Would I return——yes! Nice place.

Cobblestone does a nice job. Very clean facility. Very easy to locate and get to. Right on the main drag in Ft. Madison. Hotel rooms are very comfortable. It was very quiet in the hotel when we were there. Have stayed at the Cobblestone multiple times when in the area. Will go back in the future.

The rooms smelled! My carpet smelled like urine and I found a half eaten cookie under the bed skirt when I was picking up something. The first day I went for breakfast and they were out of most things. The workout room was dirty and hot. Their coffee was bad and they only had artificial creamer.

The doors were heavy metal (fireproof) and so everytime someone closed a door it was like a loud slam. Because there was a one inch gap under our door, the noise from the hallway was very loud - late at night and early morning. Service was excellent, breakfast was nice.

A rough check-in. We used the phone to call someone to the front desk. We received our cards and went to the room. When we opened the door, the lights were on and the beds looked like they had been slept in. Not sure if the room was occupied or not cleaned, but we backed out quickly and went to the desk-again had to use the phone to call someone to the desk. She handed us keys again and said “try this one”. This room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast selection in the morning, included at no charge.

Easy to get to - it’s right on Hwy. 2. Staff are very friendly and welcoming without being over the top about it. Hotel is clean with great air conditioning for those hot and muggy days and nights. Breakfast options are solid. Burger King, Dunkin Donuts and a small grocery store are steps away if you need them. There is a walking path easily accessible by foot should you want that type of exercise while there. Beds were comfortable, fridge and desk in the room, plenty of linens, etc. Very solid place to stay.

We stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds and a pull out sofa. Appreciated this option of extra space and beds. The room was extremely clean and new. Access to the room was great. We came to see historic Nauvoo. It was a bit further of a drive than it appeared (the website said 5.2 miles away, that must be as the crow flies). It was 16 miles by road and 27 minutes, but we loved driving through the area back and forth and especially crossing the Mississipi River over a bridge that turned to let boats through. Our children thought it was exciting!

The staff perfect, the hotel surroundings and inside awesome. Waffle maker handle was loose and my waffle wasnt fully cooked even though the timer went off. The biscuits and gravy were good and the sausage links. The sausage patties i didnt care for. Will stay again

Clean, spacious dining area, staff was GREAT. My only tiny complaint was that there was no gravy for the biscuits and gravy. I was told they only had that on the weekends, which made no sense to me. Otherwise, it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed!!

It's a great place for the money. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is filling. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles cereal, etc. Several places to eat close by. I'll definitely be staying here again next year when I perform at the Denmark Iowa Renaissance Faire.
