Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Moab

Overall, great location, clean room, good breakfast. Unfortunately, the pool area needs maintenance attention (whirlpool and gas fire pit didn’t work). The front desk checked us out one day earlier-easily fixed but an annoyance.

This place checked all the boxes. Clean, friendly staff, quick and easy check in, solid breakfast buffet. Win, win, win. But the craziest thing was its pool area! It’s huge, with a couple of pools, a hot tub, a kiddie splash pool, abundant seating and even a giant jenga set and a ping pong table! My son and I spent about two hours out here one night. Phenomenal amenity if you have kids.

When a hotel represents they have a pool and spa I expect it not to be closed for the season. After a long day I was looking forward to a nice soak.

The location is phenomenal if you’re here to visit Arches, otherwise it’s a 5-10 minute drive to all the restaurants in Moab. Breakfast was great, they change it up every day, which is great if you’re staying for a couple of nights. The best part was the multiple hot jacuzzi and pool, which are shared with Springhill Suites.

Love staying here. It’s clean, they have good amenities, outdoor grill, basketball hoop, 3-4 hot tubs and a huge pool area. Very comfy beds. Just a great place to stay

Multiple, large hot tubs for cold nights are wonderful. Pool is really nice as well except it was closed one of the two nights we were there and my daughter was very disappointed. Beds were comfortable, area is beautiful.

We stayed a total 3 nights ( 1 night was directly booked through Marriott and 2 nights through Hotels.com) and not once was the room serviced/clean. When we called to ask why, was told they only do it every other day. Checked in on Monday and checked out on Thursday. Disappointed

Great location, minutes away from Arches NP. Friendly staff. Clean. Breakfast room was clean and they have cold and hot breakfast to choose from. We didn't have time to use pool but it looks nice and clean.

Excellent Fairfield Inn - well equipped and comfortable room, excellent location closest to the Park entrance. Modern and quite new all throughout. Breakfast are is nice, however, breakfast selection could improve, it's pretty basic. Staff (Deb especially) were friendly and nice. All in all I recommend this place!

Property was close to Arches Natl Park. Pools and outside area was awesome. Room was very nice and clean.

Entire Pool area reeked of urine. Even my 8 year old daughter noticed the smell. Hot tub was dirty and had dirty ring marks, fire pit out of order. Bathroom was dirty. Hard uncomfortable beds and flat pillows

The hotel itself is very attractive, modern and well appointed. The room was comfortable. The downside was that it was not well prepared before our stay. The body wash and conditioner canisters were completely empty. Sadly, I did not realize this until I was actually in the shower. So I had to get out and get the tiny bar of hand soap to use. I then called to the front desk and advised them of this and was asked if I could wait until the next day to have them refilled! I told the lady that we needed showers that night and someone would need to come up and refill them. A few minutes later a guy came to the room to refill them. He walked all over the bathmat with his dirty shoes and did not offer to replace it. He was not going to check the dispensers and so I asked him twice to do so after he changed them out. Reluctantly, he did and found that the conditioner bottle still did not work. If I had not insisted that he check them, we still would have had none. The next problem was the lack of toilet paper. There were 2 half rolls in the room when we checked in and the following morning we were out. I informed the desk clerk who said that they only clean rooms every other day, but she would give me a new roll. I told her that if that was the case, they should make sure the rooms are well prepared before new guests check in. She seemed uninterested. For the price of the room, I was disappointed that it was not properly prepared prior to our check in.

We liked the clean and spacious room. The pool area was unique with the different pools and water falls and hot tubs. There was a very good variety of foods for breakfast.

Easy check in process. A/C was not working in our original room. We were immediately moved to a different one. Overall great experience!

This property looks nice and the pool area is nice, but the walls are crazy thin. We woke up everyday at 4am with hearing people walking around. Also the morning of checkout the water was shut off without notifying us. So no water for morning showers, brushing teeth, or being able to flush the toilet, Very disappointing

Great Views of surrounding nature! Excellent location and beautiful pool area with waterfalls and blooming trees. The only downside were the paper thin walls.

Love this property but the internet is pretty unusable. Even after the hassle of creating an account it still wouldn't load on more than half of my devices I tried it on. Couldn't do any of the work or play I was planning on while there.

Room had an odd smell and the a/c heating unit sounded like it was possessed

The pool area is great. The breakfast is wonderful. The desk staff are fantastic. Our room was what we needed with less than adequate lighting - not sure why there are only lights on one wall of the whole room. The fridge didn't work great, but we made due. We enjoyed our stay and might stay there again.

It is a typical Fairfield Inn with a beautiful pool and fire pit area. Room was clean. Breakfast bland. No internet all evening which curtailed my ability to work. Prices are tourist prices. Way too high for what you get.

This hotel is great. The staff is so nice and knowledgable. On check in, they told us about the timed entry for Arches and gave us the website to get tickets for entry. This saved us. We were able to get tickets the next day and just enjoy the pool in the morning before the entry time. The room was very clean and up to date. The bathroom was nice and the shower had crazy good pressure!

I originally booked a stay at Fairfield by Marriott Moab. Upon arrival, I was informed by the front desk that due to overbooking, my reservation was transfered to another hotel which made double charge, then follow up which made my family vacation miserable!.

This property was in an amazing location. The staff was very grumpy and seemed jaded. No one was rude just acted like they hated their jobs. But with that being said there was two staff members who were an absolute joy so they were amazing.

I have to say over the week of traveling from texas all the way to Moab and all the hotels we stayed in the service was subpar. I was harassed at breakfast by the young lady thats helps keep the breakfast clean and stocked. Then to turn around and tell i cant ised the lemon water! I was not putting my stanly under the spout to avoid contamination. I used the plastics cups provided and filled my stanley that way. She was not happy at all and told me i have to fill at a waterting staion.. Im in customer service but i have to deal with patients and family members. Anyone in a customer service job knows a big part is being personable, say hi on occasion and dont walk around like you dont want to be here or be bothered. It doesnt take much to smile and a simple smile can go a long way.

Beth, was super friendly greeted us with a smile and also she gave outstanding customer service from the moment we checked in. We asked her where was the best places to eat and she gave us some recommendations and sure enough the places had delicious food!. The amenities were wonderful and room was great!! We definitely will be back and thank you to you all for doing a wonderful job!!!

We had a wonderful visit! The entire staff was friendly and inviting. We had a beautiful view from the third floor. Breakfast buffet was actually good and a little different the few days we stayed. Jacuzzis are nice and open during the winter but pool was closed. First time for us going in February as it was last min idea. Minutes form the parks in one direction and few minutes from downtown in the other direction. We had no wait at any of the parks, no fighting for parking and overall just a great stay.

We stayed for 6 nights so that we could visit the Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. We arrived and received a very poor check-in from Melissa. We arrived about 30 minutes before the 3pm check-in time. We were not welcomed and made to wait for our room. We were treated as an inconvenience. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping takes place every other day. We had housekeeping on the second day. Our bedsheets were not changed, which was fine. We requested housekeeping on the fourth day and it did not happen. Our bedsheets were not changed during our entire 6 night stay. We had to take some towels from the housekeeping cart and replace them ourselves. The conditioner dispenser was empty during our entire stay. The microwave turntable did not work, which we reported. Nothing was done to fix the issue. The staff are indifferent to guests and do not appear to care about good service. The hotel has good potential, but the service is a let down. The hotel is quiet and a short drive into Moab for evening meals. However, there is good access to Arches National Park. The swimming pools are overcrowded with lots of children running around unattended.

Rooms amazing. Staff is friendly and AMAZING. Location is AMAZING! The staff that provides the breakfast, they are so sweet, friendly and amazing. Don't forget to tip them, they keep it clean and the food stocked. Say hello to them and ask how they are doing.

2nd stay. Aliya the 3-11 desk girl was super nice and tried to help me with a fax. It didn’t work…. So I asked the daytime girl…. Who lied and told me they didn’t have a fax!!!! Aliya saved this review. Daytime girl….. very snotty

The parking was good. The location close to the highway and Arches National Park was very convenient. But the absolute best part of this hotel is the amenities! The pools and hot tubs were fantastic. The facility balances family friendliness with adult comforts! I only wish we would have stayed another day! I didnt see recycling bins or other sustainability resources, which would have been welcome.

The hotel was in a great location as a base to get to both nearby national parks, restaurants in town, and other nearby outdoor activities.

Fairfield Moab is by far the best place to stay during your visit to Moab, away from the main hustle and bustle of the town center, but only a 10 min drive to everything Moab has to offer. And, this place is very well kept up by staff, and clean, very clean, breakfast has a wide variety of offerings, and changes daily. Parking is plentiful.

It was a nice hotel & pool area. No restaurant, no spa for massages. Carpets were dirty & needed vacuumed, elevator floor dirty.

Beautiful property, but staff were not very helpful because I booked through Expedia. There was a mistake made in photos advertised and I thought I was booking a suite, I had to spend a lot of time on the phone with Expedia to get it fixed and had to move to another hotel on the property. Staff could of easily rectified the situation in the first place. Also there was no sit down restaurant, only room service and it was not good. Food tasted microwaved and was poor quality.

I reserved two rooms but needed connecting rooms which they were able to provide. Front desk service was great at check-in. She gave a great recommendation for dinner in Moab. She also gave us some Welcome cookies🍪 The rooms were clean; no odd odors; no squeaky doors. The block out shades in the windows were great, and the heat/AC unit kept the room at a nice temperature. The breakfast in the morning was excellent; lots of variety. I used to work Front Desk at a hotel so I’m picky about any hotel stays. I’ve never paid so much for hotel rooms, but the price was comparable to others in the area. We wanted to be close to Arches National Park entrance and this location was perfect! Five minute drive to the entrance. Highly recommend!

The closest hotel to the entrances of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The pool area which is awesome is shared with Springhill Suites. We only were there 1 night and really wished we could have stayed longer. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. It was ok. Powedered eggs, Canadian bacon, waffles, oatmeal, some breads, bagels, and waffles. Just seemed a bit more skimpy than other Fairfield’s we’ve stayed at. Otherwise - Great!

The three roachers were in the bathroom, low toilet paper, kleenix was empty. The shower curtain bottom were torn and dirty. Breakfast was not great, coffee ran out fast, need to refill. Parking space was plenty.

This was a fun hotel! Breakfast wasn’t the greatest but the pool was fun!
