The Earl of Sandwich Motel

My room looked like it had been updated recently. The towels were thick and absorbent. The bed was very comfortable . Plenty of pillows. One shelf next to the bed was missing. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The water temperature in the shower was luke warm. The control for the water in the bathroom sink was backwards. Hot was on the right, cold on the left.

Beautiful, upscale rooms. My OCD mind couldn’t process the unpainted inside bathroom trim in the mirror, plywood showing on the floor under the sink, or the fact that the hallway overhead light and hall mirror were wired on the same switch… but, other than that, very nice accommodations. Office/grounds staff very nice. There’s a pond in the center that of the property and Lucy the Goosey loves dog biscuits and bagels :) The only thing I saw that could be remedied is cleaning up the fallen branches and wiping the outdoor chairs down, so they are usable space. And, the smart TVs don’t allow you to access your online accounts like Netflix and Apple TV, which was a real bummer because it has the capability for the apps. I would definitely stay there again :)

With exception of the newly renovated rooms, the exterior of the Motel was run down and not maintained.

Updated room was very good. Clean and well furnished. It was lovely to see the daffodils by the door.
