There was only 1 gas stove out side that everyone had to use for the hole motel and dint work well had to wait for 2 more rooms to cook food before we could use it.

The rooms were cute, the beds were fine and it was a nice quiet place to stay. Always at the top of my list. We didn't stay long enough to use the outdoor cooking facility, but it would have been fun to purchase some fish at a local shop and make fish tacos. Our room was missing hand/body soap and the place could have used more hooks for hanging clothes, oh and a hair dryer.

We stayed at the inn...it was perfect! The inn manager was so nice and very helpful! We went during off season so it was super quiet. They have a nice little back patio area that you can sit and watch the water. We saw a ton of dolphins!

Nice spot. Lisa was very friendly. My only complaint would be the wifi was unreliable but it could have just been our room. The kitchen had the basics for what you would need for cooking. Onsite BBQs were nice. Beds were comfortable. I'd stay here again.

It was eery, beach was super gross, smelled awful. The parking was full so we had to park in the sand and it rained hard leaving a river of water to drive over. The room was great, location was surrounded by dilapidated structures and no beach getaway.

The room was clean and very neat it had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Very quiet area and everyone was super nice and friendly. Only down side is if you have someone with mobility issues this wouldn’t be a good place to stay as I didn’t see a ramp for wheel chairs or walkers. The bathroom a great size and super clean. If you’re a shortie like me you will need to jump up to get in the beds 😂 they are high so you have room to store items. I love how close you are to the beach, the fishing and swimming. Overall, it’s a great place to have a relaxing getaway with or without kids. I will be booking with them again.

Cute. Has 2 small bedrooms. A futon (full of stains), a table and 2 chairs. The kitchen was clean but the floors were dirty. Needed to be vacuumed and swept.

These on-the-beach, cozy, elevated-off-the-ground rooms are great for casual visits. The individual rooms for sleeping in our two-bedroom had exactly enough room for one person to get into the bed, but nothing else. There was a futon-couch in the main room along with a small kitchenette there.

Newly renovated so strong odor of paint fumes. Place is very small. Says fits six but that is an oversell I believe. Five at best and three should be children. No coffee filters! Pull out sofa is awfully uncomfortable. Needs a better one. And ceiling fan can't operate without light on so very stuffy at night. Mount microwave for more counter room. Table is way to big for the space. Shower is lame. All fixable though. Otherwise this place is very clean, cute and location is beyond beautiful. Staff are exceedingly friendly. Local area amazing.

I recently stayed at the Blue Dolphin Inn, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, and the innkeeper was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The check-in process was straightforward, although you have to drive a bit further down from the inn to reach the check-in spot, which is on the left-hand side marked by the distinctive Blue Dolphin sign. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and we're already planning our next visit. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the hospitality and charm of the Blue Dolphin Inn. We want to see all the places back to its full potential there in Grand Isle. Favorite place to come as a kid.

The motel rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Since there is a kitchenette, it would have been nice if there was coffee provided and some basic condiments, salt, pepper, sugar etc. Would definitely stay there again.
