The elevator only went to the 2nd floor, my room was on the third floor. Free breakfast on Saturday began at 7:00, I checked out at 6:45 (there wasn’t even any coffee in the lobby at that time). Was told the elevator would be fixed (but after my departure time).

I did not like that the TV was so far from the bed. I did not like that the air in the gym was not at the correct temperature. Jose was great and helpful when I had to check back in to my room. Breakfast was excellent with options and besides the temperature, the gym was adequate from most gyms.

Parking can be a problem. My friend and I were in town to attend a play. When we returned from the play around 10pm there were NO parking spaces available. A bus had arrived carrying a group of teenage girls and had parked across at least 6 parking spaces. We went inside to ask the desk clerk what we should do. He said we should park at the hotel next door, actually about 200 yards away across a dimly lit street, and walk back over to the hotel. Then told us there are a few spaces at the back of the hotel but probably nothing available back there as it is more of a service entrance. We did find one narrow spot then had to walk all the way around the hotel to gain access. This was totally unacceptable for two women traveling.

The laundry was not operational which was a little inconvenient under our circumstances but I understand things happen. Other than that, the stay was awesome. Have stayed here several times and has always been great.

I was very impressed with the No-noise from the highway that is located next to. I did reserve a king suite. All of the staff were friendly and nice. It is also very rare to find a clean room without any hairs. I'm a germ a phobe and I always bring disinfectant wipes and I was so impressed with the cleanliness of everything! Especially the bathroom. I stayed 2 days and I seen a lady spend over an hour on a room. They take their time and do it right. I will definitely stay again when I'm back in Tyler. Thank you Abigail for the mess I made that you had to clean. She is the front desk manager, she is not a maid. She was very nice about it also and helpful when I needed some glasses.

For a new looking property, I was underwhelmed. The staff was great; however, both rooms we tried has a musty smell of old athletic sneakers. It was pretty bad and did not matter if the room has hard surface floor or carpet. Linens were clean and bed slept great. The grout the bathroom was chipped and shower was not real clean.

Was told refrigerator normal operational setting was near room temperature by staff, could not keep drinks cold. Wi-Fi did not work, thankfully I had hotspot to finish my PowerPoint for my presentation the following day. Rooms are in serious need of refurbishment and this coming from someone that does not leave poor reviews.

The hotel was clean and in good shape. But with all tile floors and large gaps under the doors it was one of the loudest hotels I’ve stayed at. Bring some earplugs.

The thermostat was set at 77° when we arrived and no Matt what we set it to, the temperature never changed. At 4:30 am someone's dog was outside yelping and people talking for abouta an hour! We had a very hot and uncomfortable night. Everything else about the hotel was fine.

The room was great, cold air, great shower and breakfast was very good. But get a room that doesn’t face Loop 323. The hotel is situated at an intersection and hot rod drivers use the green light as the starting line for drag racing! LOUD! Not really the hotel’s fault but it went on till past midnight off and on. Other than that a really nice hotel. Would stay again but not facing the Highway! Lol

Checked in online, uploaded my driver license. Got there a bit early, no room. Ok. Went to our event could not come back to our hotel until 10pm. The lady at the front desk said not more check ins. Huh? She finally found our reservation. Our room had other peoples things in it. Had to go back down to get another room

One staff member was trying to fix a guest tv and left front desk unmanned for 45 plus minutes. Unacceptable. We should have been given a refund for wasting our time. Absolutely horrendous customer service.

Check in person had no clue what they were doing, took forever to get checked in to room. Incidental fee of $150 does not just show as pending then come back to your account upon check out, it’s actually debited and then takes 14 days to be refunded.

The most terrible experience ive had at a hotel. Checked into room and it was not the room I booked. The tv did not work so they put me into another room knowing the tv in that room did not work. Joel the clerk said there was nothing they could do. I told them I was going to check into another hotel in the area. Joel never offered to help me find another hotel in the Tyler area and refused to give me his full name incase I had trouble with my room refund. He said I wanted his last name so I could harrass him. Complete unprofessional. I will never stay at another La Quinta again.

The check-in was poor because we were sent a link go complete a pre-check in prior to arrival in order to save time. I did this, uploaded my ID and all only to be asked for it again at the desk. I was then also told about the incidental hold which is fine but that could have been done and taken care of when I booked or at the pre-check in. Pre checking in diff not seem to have any value or save any time. The agent was also very mundane and did not seem to be having a good day. The remote to the tv did not work, the sheets are not good quality and the refrigerator did not cool.

Very clean and well kept hotel, friendly service too, but the road noise is horrific. It’s so loud than even my noise canceling ear buds didn’t keep the noise out. Definitely not a good place for people that want to go to bed early or sleep in late.

The hotel was very nice and clean! Over all I was really impressed. The breakfast was very nice. The shower had Dove product that smelled really clean and fresh. It was nicely decorated and clean. Only one complaint.. the pillows were not my favorite. The mattress was wonderful.

Very nice hotel and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The only downside is that they ran out of biscuits for the gravy.

I had a very pleasant stay in Tyler. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the air conditioning worked great. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the hotel was conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and other places we needed to visit. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Tyler.

I wasn’t informed about the breakfast so by the time I went down there it was over. The room was clean. The people at the front desk took them forever to check me in because two of them had to go through the whole process twice which I don’t know why and the woman said my room number out loud that upset me because you’re not supposed to do that.
