Although the room was clean, there are no breakfast facilities at this hotel. The hotel is convenient for the station but the area is horrific! Junkies and homeless people everywhere and the hotel is next to a seedy sex/night club where the music on a Saturday night does not finish until 3am on Sunday morning. I felt quite unsafe leaving and walking to the hotel.

Das Hotel steht in einer sehr schrecklichen Lage. Um das Hotel auf den Gehwegen liegen Menschen rum, die gerade Drogen konsumiert haben oder gerade dabei sind. Wir haben auch 2 Frauen gesehen, wo die Spritze noch im Arm steckte. Auf keinen Fall mit Kindern dorthin fahren. Auch Frauen sollten dieses Hotel nicht alleine buchen. Einen Parkplatz gibt es ebenfalls nicht. Ich hatte gelesen, dass es gegenüber ein Parkhaus geben soll. Dem ist aber nicht mehr so. Man muss in einem ca. 1km entfernten Parkhaus parken.

The hotel is OK. I didn't mind the area at all, but the place itself is very small, and there is no breakfast like reviews suggested. I probably read old reviews and was confused. You'd be much better off getting a nice hostel with kitchen where you can also socialize with other people. Here you are alone with no activities and no way to meet people and have food and it's not cheap at all. I was here just for 1 night so it was OK

Room was clean and nice for the price. The area where hotel its is horrible. Junkies everiver, brothel and gambling facilities nex door. No safe parking on the site. We had to park in different neighborhood. From 2:30 in the night to 5:00 in morning very loud musick was plaing. Hotel is pet frendly but is too noisy and they wanted 50€ depozit cash. Who dos have cash in this days? And lastly in the midle of the night painting fell from the wall missing our heads just by inch. So if its just for one night and you do not have car or pet it is ok for the price. But I do not recomend booking this hotel.

Auf der Treppe lagen Scherben von zerbrochenen Flaschen, und die Möbel im Zimmer waren nicht nur fleckig, sondern teilweise auch kaputt. Das erste Zimmer haben wir gleich getauscht. Die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig – hier müsste dringend renoviert und gründlich gereinigt werden. Auch das direkte Umfeld des Hotels ist alles andere als einladend. Überall in der Umgebung sieht man Junkies, die offen Drogen konsumieren – das wirkt sehr abschreckend und unsicher, besonders in den Abendstunden. Man muss halt wissen, das die Moselstraße und angrenzenden Taunusstraße mitten im Rotlichtviertel von Frankfurt ist und der Drogenhotspot. Zudem war es extrem laut in der Nacht. Direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich ein Bordell, und in unmittelbarer Nähe ist ein Club, aus dem bis in die frühen Morgenstunden laute Musik dröhnte. An erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Wir sind vorzeitig weg aus dem Hotel und haben uns ein anderes Hotel in einer ruhigen Umgebung gebucht. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel Fourtyfour leider nicht empfehlen – vor allem nicht für Reisende, die Wert auf Sauberkeit, Sicherheit und Ruhe legen.

The stuff took very good care of me, rooms was nice and clean- but it doesn’t make up for the area. Rooms facing the street are very noisy, because people outside are up around the clock, drunk and partying.

Находитмя в плохом районе. С детками не советую вообще. Возле входа на ступеньках сидят наркоманы, алкаши и бомжи. Всё было ужасно грязное. На тумбочках липкая приевшаяся годами грязь. Крышка унитаза на ободках жёлтая от мочи, противно было садится. На балконе валялись бычки от сигарет на полу и лежали на подоконнике. Постельное неприятного запаха. Полотенца тоже мятые и воняли не первой свежестью, наверное их не стирали совсем. Телевизор не включала, но думаю, что и там ничего хорошего. Один плюс-это то, что есть грязный холодильник.

We needed a hotel for the night and were arriving late. For our budget there was little choice do we booked it knowing from previous guests comments it was not on a good area. We arrived by taxi driver helped us with luggage. Hotel was clean reveption area was a bit offputting but friendly welcome. We booked a taxi for 6.30am the folllowing morning when we arrived down stairs to check out the taci was waiting for us. Thrrefore 5***** for this. Bedroom and ensuite clesn and comfi and there was a balcony. Again 5***** for this. But tge district is a no no. We spent a week touring and returned to frankfurt the following week. Stayed at the Savoy hotel which is dead oppposite the railway station.2** hotel 5***** location Passible as you could walk around around.

Alles war dreckig im Zimmer, man konnte nicht mal duschen !

Traveler beware! Unless your stay in Frankfurt is for erotica or sex tourism, this isn’t the place or area for you. This hotel is situated in the heart of a red light district. Cost ratio for quality not balanced. Non-smoking but reeks of cigarettes and gross air fresheners to cover the stink (but only mixes and worsens the scent). Bathroom was dirty with remnants of previous guests present. In-room TV, without remote, stuck in master menu setting (as in from the main office). Lights in bathroom partly burned out. Springy nasty mattresses and peeling vinyl headboards. Frankly, I’m astounded that a reputable site like Expedia could even consider this seedy place as eligible for a listing. Sure Hotel 44, but Eros 42 (the very next door in fact sharing a wall with this hotel) is a red light establishment!

Our room was facing a cord yard to another “Hotel”. It was loud throughout the night. The bed sheets were clean, but the overall room appearance seemed run down. We booked a room for 3 adults, but only received 2 sets of towels. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The hot water cattle was burned. The remote control for the TV was missing and none other was available until the next day. We also had a big hole in the wall, and the neighborhood is somewhat sketchy. I will not choose this hotel again.

Fernseher ging nicht und es kam auch niemand um was daran zu ändern und wenn man zwei Nächte bucht, gehe ich von aus, dass nach der ersten Nacht mal jemand ins Zimmer kommt wegen Handtücherkontrolle oder mal Bett aufschütteln. War leider niemand da und im Bad fehlte der Duschvorleger.

Sehr inkompetentes und unfreundliches Personal das zum erklären eines Problems dann auf Nationalitäten abgerutscht ist was wir bis jetzt nicht verstanden haben. "Mein Land Dein Land" Ich bin Deutscher. Naja. Wir haben ein Anderen Hotel genommen.

My husband and I booked a hotel stay for one night in Frankfurt at this hotel. The booking was completed on November 27th at 9:40AM, but due to very serious personal reasons, we had to cancel our trip to Germany altogether and submitted our cancellation with a refund request on November 28th around 10:00AM, almost exactly 24 hours later. It is our understanding that it took Expedia several days to get in touch with the Hotel Forty Four management, which we very much appreciate. When the Expedia team got in touch with them, the hotel refused the refund. We did not receive a penny of the amount we paid for that one night in Frankfurt, and I will certainly never recommend this place to anyone I know! .. I just could not believe this whole situation happened and have never experienced this with any hotel management in the past, even those with very strict rules on cancellation. Flexibility, at least within a 24 hour period, would be appreciated.

Nettes Personal. Sehr günstig, was sich aber in den eher runtergekommenen Zimmern, die nicht allzu sehr gereinigt wurden, widerspiegelt. Das Hotel ist in einer schlechten Gegend, welche für Frauen - vor allem abends/nachts - eher unsicher ist. Der Fernseher ist unpraktisch angebracht und die Matratze ist sehr durchgelegen. Die Möbel weisen Brandspuren auf und es befanden sich Haare in der Dusche.

The property is in the middle of the red light district and is next door to a brothel. Handy if that's what you're looking for I suppose. The street immediately outside and surrounding the hotel also seems to attract a huge number of drug addicts (I would guess they are accommodated very nearby, but I didn't ask). I opened my curtain in the morning, after a restless night's sleep, to see a man taking a hit from his crack pipe. I'm glad I only stayed for one night as I was travelling onwards by train the following day. Pretty unpleasant experience and wouldn't be returning in a hurry.
