Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations: private boat from airport to the hotel was well worth the investment after a long trip from the states, our room on the 2nd floor overlooking the Grand Canal was worth the extra cost - beautiful view and even with the window cracked at night, it was so quiet (we stayed in early November), just the sound of the water lapping below. Very comfortable bed and pillows, we slept so well and woke up refreshed every day. Bathtub was divine after long days of walking the city. Excellent hair dryer, 2 complimentary bottles of water everyday. Full breakfast (eggs!) eaten in room overlooking the canal, every single staff member was so friendly and eager to help in any way they could. Alex sat down with me our first afternoon and answered every question I had about the city. He recommended a gondola location nearby that was a great experience - fair price, knowledgeable gondolier, timed to sunset. Hotel is steps from the Rialto Market vaporetto stop, but not noisy at all. You're never more than a 15 minute walk or vaporetto ride from anywhere in the city. Loved every minute!

Good location and great staff! Nice breakfast buffet with seating by windows that overlook the canal. There is a cute little terrace on the top floor that’s nice to relax and enjoy a drink. The only negative was that our room had black decor and with minimal lighting the room felt very dark. Otherwise, a pleasant stay!

Highly recommend. We have the family suite that is next to the hotel and faces the canal (lots of stairs). Great location and staff. I would definitely stay there again. Water taxi from there to the airport was 150 euro. Definitely on the expensive side but was nice for the convenience.

Delightful hotel on the grand canal a short walk from Ponte De Rialto. The staff could not be more helpful and polite. Providing information, guidance and directions, advising on travel as well as arranging dinner reservations for us in equally delightful restaurants. Rooms are clean, with good decor and facilities. It’s quiet and the 3rd floor caught plenty of natural light (March). The room AC was quiet and room temp was very comfortable as was the bed. We stayed 3 nights and there was a good choice for breakfast each day - the fruit tart a favourite of mine - plentiful caffe and a nice selection of fruit and juices. The hotel has a cocktail/wine bar which we had drinks at on 2 nights - usually after we came in from dinner and before we retired for the evening - exhausted from long days absorbing Venezia.

We got an apartment and it was in a separate building without any elevator. We had to climb multiple stairs (steep) with kids. The apartment was so so - not 5 star. The view of the canal was good. When we mentioned this to the staff they were kind enough to move us to the main building. This had elevator access and room was better. Breakfast was good. Also the entry to the hotel was unclear - there was no sign board in the front. Overall good service but rooms were so so.

This was a gorgeous hotel! Staff were fantastic and helped us arranged water taxis. The breakfast was excellent. The view was beautiful. My only issue was we rented a 2 bedroom and it was on the second floor with no elevator. They helped us with luggage but with a guest that has difficulty walking up the stairs it was a challenge

Nice room but my partner found it was a little bit dark. I love the turndown service and a thoughtful amenity in the room for my birthday. I wish I could see the whole building of the hotel as it was under construction or something.

The interior was extremely cool. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was 10 out of 10. (Included Prosecco). After our stay, we took the boat from the jetty in front of the hotel to the station. Extremely cool.

The hotel was elegant and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was included and was delicious with simple items to eat. The bathroom in the room was excellent and spacious. They provided robes and slippers and turned the bed with a chocolate. The location is close to the Rialto Market and close to bars and restaurants.

Loved the location. Being on the ground canal was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and always available. The room was clean and very modern. The breakfast was great and a nice way to start the day. Overall this was exactly what we were looking for.

This hotel is in an ideal spot for a trip to Venice. The hotel itself is lovely and has a good breakfast offering each morning. Our room was really nice and enough space to settle in to each day. The staff are all very nice and helpful when you needed anything. They have a bar which have seats just outside the front of the hotel which allows you to watch the vaporetti go by. Location wise its within easy walking distance of the Rialto bridge and also of a ferry stop to and from the airport. Situated on the grand canal itself yet quiet enough to allow for a lovely nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Definitely a hotel I would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here when we were last in Venice (2016), therefore we had no hesitation in returning for our 2024 holiday. Although 8 years have passed between stays this hotel remains superb from start to finish. Easy check-in, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and the room was very comfortable, with clean bedding each day and a refreshing shower. We were lucky to have a Grand Canal view room (207) and the view was fantastic. The windows were sound-proofed so we slept very well in the comfortable bed. The location is also excellent with a pier outside for the airport transfer drop-off/pick-up and well within strolling distance of many very good restaurants and all of the major sites. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We had a spacious room overlooking the grande canal on the top floor (4). The room was decorated beautifully, very clean, and plenty of storage with complimentary beverages. The bathroom is also quite large giving enough space to comfortably towel dry after a shower or prep for the evening. The location is just a couple minutes walk from dining and tourist sites but far enough away that it is peaceful and quiet. The staff is all extremely professional and kind. The staff is a 5 star experience. If arriving in Venice by train, the hotel is a short walk from a vaporetti stop (ie water bus). Dont worry about figuring it out in advance. If you can use Google maps and have tap and pay on your phone - you're good. If arriving by air I'd 100% recommend a water taxi. It'll drop you right at the hotel doorstep and is a beautiful way to begin your Venice experience. For this you also don't need to arrange in advance. Just walk to the water taxi area in the airport and they will be waiting. We enjoyed Venice very much, it exceeded our expectations, and we will be returning for another stay.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel in a deluxe canal room. Our room was on the first floor with a lovely view of the canal, however, could be a bit noisy at night given it was the first floor. Room size was reasonable, perhaps a little small for what we were expecting. Bathroom was good, though the shower was in the bath and it was quite a high step to get in. Room was very clean. Breakfast was okay. As for the hot food, it didn’t seem to be replenished so some of the food was cold and stodgy. Not a great deal of options for gluten free. Service at the hotel was good.

There were many things to like about this hotel, like the location, beautiful Grand Canal view, big bathroom (we had a deluxe king room). The room had a good neutral smell. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything felt clean. The shower was one of the best showers I've had in a while. The concierge was extremely helpful and was quick to recommend restaurants and help us line up transportation to the airport and also to Murano. The breakfast was tasty and there were a lot of options on the buffet. We didn't love the decor of the room (red painted floors and half of the walls)--BUT, it was clean, and decor is aesthetic, so maybe other people love it. The only actual problem was the the air conditioning--it was not very cool at night. It would run until about 3am and then stop, every single night. We woke up sweaty at that time nightly. Not sleeping well on vacation is frustrating, so that is why we gave the 4 star rating, and not a 5 star rating.

Hotel L'Orologio is a beautifully maintained hotel in a perfect location (about 5-10 minute walk from Rialto and about a 20 minute walk from San Marco). The private water taxis will drop you off here for about 60-80 euros from San Lucia train station. Everything with the hotel is great, location, personel, breakfeast. BUT, when we checked out we paid our bill as usual, but 2 days later we got another withdraw from our card, so you have charged us double up.... It is clearly some kind of mistake, but i have not heard anything from the hotel about it yet. Either it is a mistake or it is a fraud. Very disturbing.

The staff here was beyond friendly! They went out of their way to make our stay an amazing time! The location is perfect to get to the Realto bridge and the City with all its quaint shops his right around the corner. I would highly recommend this hotel

Property is great, right on grand canal. Complimentary water taxi for murano island which was wonderful. Air conditioning was not that great. My jewelry got stolen from my handbag when the cleaning service came to make the beds, which was very disappointing.

From check-in to check-out, the concierge and staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The room was as pictured and we received a complimentary bottle of champagne. The breakfast was delicious and the bar had very tasty drinks. The location was perfect to all the activities we had planned in the city and you could easily walk around and find everything on the map. We will definitely recommend this hotel and very happy with our stay. Thank you as this was our first trip to Venice!

The location right on the Grand Canal and a few minutes walk from Rialto bridge (remember there are only a few places to cross the grand canal!) is perfect. It felt very exclusive. Team were polite and wonderfully helpful. If I have one comment, the rooms on the side are a bit dark, which is great for staying cool but an extra light for make-up would be welcome. Stay here you will not regret it!

Lovely property on the Grand Canal. 3 mins from Rialto Bridge, water bus stop nearby. 20 min walk to St Marks. We have been a few times to Venice when in other cities in Italy but I have to say staying overnight was great. You could be up and about before the day trippers started arriving and also the evenings were quieter. We had a lovely evening meal at Porta di Acqua about a 10 min walk from the hotel on the Grand Canal. All the hotel staff were fantastic. Breakfast was lovely The room was adequate for a couple of nights, it is slightly dark in the bathroom when getting ready in the evening. The only negative was the separate toilet as it had no sink, you had to go to the bathroom at the other side of the room to wash your hands. Would stay again

Excellent location close to the Rialto Bridge and very easy to get to from the bus, or train stations. Line 1 on the vaporetto, get off at Rialto Mercato and it's about a minute walk. Also good for Marco Polo from Rialto. Nice quiet location despite being on the Grand Canal. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable and the food good. Could not fault it and will use it again.

Service was excellent. Breakfast a 10!..traveled with teenage children and was a great start to the day to have a full breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, plus muffins, croissants, cheese, ham, prosciutto, salad, fruit, and plenty of juices and cappuccino…and Prosecco!!! Very friendly and attentive staff from greeting at the front door to waitress at breakfast. Central location. Great stay:)

Location was perfect, only a 4 min walk to rialto bridge. Few nice eatery and drink places nearby along the grand canal too. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and updated daily. Breakfast was good, had everything you’d expect! Would defo come back

There were many things to like about this hotel, like the location, beautiful Grand Canal view, big bathroom (we had a deluxe king room). The room had a good neutral smell. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything felt clean. The shower was one of the best showers I've had in a while. The concierge was extremely helpful and was quick to recommend restaurants and help us line up transportation to the airport and also to Murano. The breakfast was tasty and there were a lot of options on the buffet. We didn't love the decor of the room (red painted floors and half of the walls)--BUT, it was clean, and decor is aesthetic, so maybe other people love it. The only actual problem was the the air conditioning--it was not very cool at night. It would run until about 3am and then stop, every single night. We woke up sweaty at that time nightly. Not sleeping well on vacation is frustrating, so that is why we gave the 4 star rating, and not a 5 star rating.

We took a trip that was arranged by the concierge to the islands. We can’t say enough about the level of service that was offered at this quaint hotel. The location was ideal a very short walk from the Rialto Bridge.
