awful experience at check-in. This was the worst check-in experience I have ever had in years of travelling. I booked this hotel because it had secure parking ( I ride a motorbike), so I requested a space to park my bike when I booked this hotel. on arrival at the desk I asked if the garage door could be opened so I could park my bike. The lady thought it was full but checked with her manager who agreed with her. Obviously I was not happy as I had reserved a space when booking to which I was told that reserving a space doesn't mean you will get one ! I politely pointed out what is the point of reserving one then and also that I actually do not need a full space as its a motorbike so could actually fit anywhere....so I asked if I could have a look at the garage to which I was told no...its full. The lady then told me there was another secure garage in the town and gave me directions to it ( not happy as I've just travelled 400km in 35 degrees ). In turns out that this garage and another one that she told me about don't accept motorbikes . I went back to the hotel and asked to speak to whoever was in charge, after going into the hotel garage myself to see that there were 5 spaces available and a wall in which I could put my bike against. The man in charge eventually gave me a space which he said was his space ! ( not sure how as it was empty ). The space next to the wall apparently is used by the chef . To add insult he proceeded to charge me despite taking an hour to check in

When we were leaving, we discovered that the room was full of bugs (grey silverfish). Part of our luggage had been placed close to the desk and the wall, and when we pulled it out, we saw around 20–30 bugs. We informed the staff at checkout, as we thought they should be aware that the room was infested. They only asked for our email and did not apologise for the inconvenience of having our luggage exposed to the infestation. The underlying issue is probably poor ventilation in the bathroom that makes the room humid for after a shower. This was our first stay at our holiday trip.
