The breakfasts were great, but make sure you’re ok being seated with other folks and chatting for up to an hour. It’s not a buffet in which you can come and go. Everyone seated at 9am, eating the same thing, which was delicious. WiFi was not stable. Couldn’t watch a movie on Netflix without frequent buffering. We were in one of the larger rooms—it was fine, but rustic with strange lighting and not worth the over $350/night to stay. $275, yes, but more than that? No.

A place to relax, watch the stars or enjoy a soak in the tub - this is a warm and welcoming place to come. From Tina welcoming us at door, the cozy breakfast room, and spectacular views. Come and enjoy the view and the history of the area.

Enjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot!
