We've had a great stay at the motel. - Check in and out was super easy. Instead of using a key/ card to get in your room, the place uses a number lock which they provided the code to you during check in. We had a late check in, which was also an easy process by informing them about this earlier where they send us the code via text instead. - Room was recently renovated. It's spacious, modern and clean. Comfy pillows and beddings. Spacious bathroom as well - Inside the room has everything we need. Hair dryer, kettle, microwave, toaster, iron, capsule coffee machine (capsule peovided), coffee, tea, 2 pack of milk, shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc. - Parking is right in front of our room Overall a very pleasant stay!

On entry i had to move some broken glass from near our room entry. The shower overflows and leaves water around the bathroom area. Some of the bathroom cupboards do not fit and there was no dedicated clothes hanging cupboard or even a hook in the wall. The place does not have a functioning restaurant.

A basic dated motel. Very clean and quiet. No BBQ area as website states. Nowhere to wash dishes bar a tiny bathroom sink. Tea towel supplied, but no dishwashing liquid. No on-site staff and nowhere to leave luggage after checkout if you are without a vehicle. But prime location. Be aware shop hours and eating out limited as very difficult to get staff. Will stay again as walking distance to aged care where my dad is.

Room appeared newly renovated, making the most of an old style basic hotel room with functional modern decor. Basic crockery/cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle & pod coffee machine provided. The frog outside our room kept croaking all night, but you can’t blame the hotel for that.😁

The staff were friendly, however, they didn't really clean the room if you stay for more than 2 days. We had to use the bathroom with numeral ants body for the whole stay. And they didn't change the towels at all even saw it was dirty.

We loved our stay here!! Wish we could have stayed more than one night! The room was so clean that it felt like we were the first people to ever use it! The bed and bedding was amazing as well! So comfortable, and spotless. Probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed at!

The accomodation has good intentions, but it doesn’t quite pull through. Very dated, not matching decor. Doors have no dead locks on them, so it’s reliant on a keypad lock which overheats & is unsafe. Window broken/incomplete, so bugs could easily get in. Dead moths in bathroom, no handles on cabinet doors & someone else’s hair in folded towels.

It was difficult to get accommodation in Foster on the long weekend but we weren’t prepared for the very basic presentation of this motel. Not very well cleaned - dust & spilled substances behind the bed - worn carpets at entrance ( linen was very clean, though). Bathroom was clean but cabinetry was peculiar wth un-openable, screwed in doors & peeling laminate on the drawers exposing the chip board material beneath’. A hot breakfast cost $64!! And that didn’t include hot beverages- just a juice each. My breakfast was 2 poached eggs, sliced grilled tomato & a slice of a cheap quality bacon and toast; my partner had baked beans, that bacon again & a sausage & toast - served in our room. I repeat: $64! I would rather have driven up to see what we went there to do and driven home again, if I’d known’.

The location of the motel was great- close to shops and main restaurant. Also relatively close to Wilson’s prom- 45 minute drive. The sheets and towels were nice, clean and crisp. Thank you to the cleaning lady! The motel itself is quite dated and old. Some of the furniture is cracked. Carpet is worn out and smelly. The air con and TV remote didn’t work. No screen on window, so couldn’t leave it open for security. Finally the plumbing also loud and vibrated when turning on the shower. I also didn’t receive any notification about check in and had to call myself to confirm our stay. The lady that answered was flustered and said she’d back to confirm booking but never did. The man that checked us in was friendly though.

The accommodation is basic, worn, and quite dated. There was a fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster, but no kitchen sink which I didn’t realise when booking. There is a frosted glass window in the sleeping area that has no blind or curtains, even with an eye mask on, the light was so bright that it meant waking up around 6am each morning.

The Wilson Promontory Motel is an older establishment and while clean could do with update especially the bathroom cabinetry. Having said that we had a good night in Foster and would stay here again. As others have said there is no one at reception and if you book direct with the motel, your room number is text to you but if you book via Expedia you need to phone the manager to be told which room you have.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was clean (a note included with cutlery specified to leave dishes so they could be properly cleaned and sanitised) and very spacious. IGA, Hotel, laundry and pharmacy less than 2 min walk. They are renovating the units, so will be even better soon!

No one was at reception when we tried to check in at 4:20 PM. Found a lot of dead little mosquitos in room. Our room was one of four on a back wing with no pavement in front. It made for difficulty parking and no one suggested we part on a side lawn. We could hear everything through the walls. The manager seemed totally uninterested in trying to help guests. Book elsewhere..

No reception just a text stating my room number and room was open with keys on bench, arriving after dark this was a little scary. Room was so cold had heater on 28 degrees and didn’t turn down to 3am once room bearable Water pressure was terrible actually had to wait for water to even come out of taps Bed was like a rock don’t think they have been updated since hotel was opened in 70’s Room service was non existent
