Formosa Bay

We spend one night at the resort. From the driving in to the reception was great. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, clean and all you need. The breakfast was also great. Thank you!

Perhaps the only place in South Africa where we were not treated well. The staff always looked unfriendly, as if they were doing us a favor, with no cordiality at all. Breakfast was charged separately, and the staff made no effort to explain how it worked. On the positive side, our room (which was actually almost an apartment) was enormous — the biggest we have ever stayed in. It included a huge living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and even an outdoor barbecue area. It’s a shame we were just passing through, stayed only one night, and it was raining. We were unable to make the most of the place’s potential.

An excellent hotel with helpful and friendly staff. They could not do enough for us to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.
