The property being adjacent to the Diggers Club makes it very easy to access for meals with the walkway through from the 2nd floor and has lovely view of the lake. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable and check in was very quick and easy.

Room was small but clean. Website says gym available but it’s a public gym that you have to pay membership to use and the room key swipe card was supposed to give internal access to the adjoining club for meals, that didn’t work leaving the only option to walk around outside in the rain.

Stayed for 2 nights - booked a 2 single bed room - it was really tiny but would've been fine except the bar fridge was not working and there was a funky smell in the bathroom (and also parts of the hotel). They upgraded us next door to a slightly bigger room - the bar fridge was only slightly cooler but not fridge temp (we keep medicine in there that needs to be cold). The beds are comfy and clean. The first night, an alarm (which was really loud) went off at 2am telling us to evacuate - very puzzled what to do and thought it was set off by accident. The kid was really scared. Fell back asleep, then a second alarm went off. So I had to ring front desk cos the kid was super scared by then. They said it was set off by someone smoking on another floor but they could've made an announcement telling everyone staying we didn't need to worry. Other families had worried kids too. It was convenient having diggers club next door. I was a bit disappointed as on the website it says access to the gym (but you had to pay extra for day pass which isn't noted on the website) so I thought it was a bit misleading.

Check in/out was fast and easy, receptionists were always friendly. Nice short stroll to Long Jetty for a bbq and walk. Building is fairly new, room was clean and comfortable. Access to Diggers for meals, as the hotel itself doesn't have the facilities. We were placed on level 2, so we were woken up by people heading back to their room from Diggers (10 mins of conversation and laughter). I suggest they place families on other floors.

The walls are very thin could hear the neighbours next door including their TV and coughing. Bathroom floor had an oily feel to it. Mold in the bathroom which can be soted out. Fridge was a little grubby. Light above dresding mirror not working but not a deal breaker. Other than that had a great evening. Oh and great that the RSL is connected.

What a GEM, stayed here 1night in room 412 with a pleasant view. Stayed 1 night to break up trip further north along Eastern Coast. Friendly check-in at reception. Great informational pamphlets about what's on around the district for that week. Diggers was a good clean friendly Club for meals. Only negative is that whoever occupied room 412 before me left a huge round tub of chocolate ice-cream crammed into the tiny freezer section of the mini fridge it leaked within the fridge and onto the carpet beneath the fridge. I discoved this mess when I opened the fridge to get milk for a cup of tea. The lady on reception that evening quickly came and gave the fridge a wipe over and pulled the jammed ice-cream tub out of the tiny freezer box. Housekeeping should check all fridges thorougly after guests check-out.I loved this IBIS Styles and it's location it is now on my list of places to stay in future. Thank you to the staff.

Have stayed there many times when visiting relatives. Usually very good. This time tv remote & connector chord had been stolen. Offered a new room but we had unpacked & my wife was in the shower so we said it was OK. This room also had no spare pillows or an extra blanket. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed & looked like it hadn’t been done for several guests. Only 2 sugars in coffee tray. Really wondering if service standard has slipped????

Wayne at the front desk was very good on check in. Later concerns were: 1. The door, connecting us to the next room, was not very sound proof. 2. Electrical poorly designed, You had to get out of bed to turn the bedside lamps on or off. If not daylight, lights did not make the room bright enough. 3. Dirty cups and glasses in room. Left them soaking and told front desk on check out. 4. Bedside clock radio unplugged. Plugged it back in but did not know how to reset, 5. Dining/Bar Staff seemed to expect that we knew how things functioned. Did not listen or explain well. 6. Dining/Bar service was after the fact and only upon request.

Great and fuss free stay at this property. Everything I needed, nothing I didn’t. I even left my glasses behind (they fell under the bed somehow) and Gerard went above and beyond in asking the housekeeping team to search for them and then getting them sent to me. Amazing customer service!

It is less than 5 mins drive from the entrance and much quieter. Some rooms has the lake view which is very nice at sunset time. It’s about 5 min walk to the jetty. All staffs were helpful and attentive. Some area could have a bit of TLC (eg bathroom and some minor stains on towel) but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Surprised by the space and quality received at this Ibis property. I could swear it was not more than two years old. But apparently 13 years. I needed privacy and quietness to complete a project, and it was perfect. As well as great meals at the Diggers Club attached to the hotel.

We liked that we could walk internally to the Diggers Club and because we were staying at the Ibis we were treated as members of the club. This saved us quite a bit of money on food and drinks. We also liked that we could open the window in our room to enjoy some fresh air. It was very quiet we didn't hear a sound also the bed and pillows were so comfortable. If we are ever in The Entrance again this is where we would stay. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff at front desk, very welcoming. Clean rooms and facilities. Clean fresh towels and linen made our stay very comfortable. Free continental breakfast including coffee was pretty mediocre. However, my partner ordered a bacon and egg roll and it was delicious.

i had to pay twice for a hot breakfast. once when i booked, with hotels.com .. un beknown to me this was only continental.. first time after 30 or so bookings. to have a hot breakfast i also paid at the hotel.. why ???

Guests arriving in an EV (and there are 200,000 EVs in Australia) can be allowed to use one of the three power points in the lower carpark to trickle charge overnight. There is also a Tesla destination charger which should be tweaked to allow use by non-Tesla EVs. The TV set-up, including the "Cast" option, was excellent. I would have preferred a slightly larger bar fridge. The partnership with the Diggers Club worked well for meals.
