The property was difficult to find when arriving at night. Small, unlit sign is set back from road. Approached by a narrow, steep lane . Parking poor—there is a parking lot but it is too small for number of cars. Hot water was intermittent .

Such lovely staff and the 2nd best spot for the temples (after the Villa Athena $$$$$) The proprietor is kind and helpful and the rooms have a very nice modern but traditional vibe. The linens are top quality but only one hot tub was working (it was early in the summer season). I would return ANY time esp for the night view of the temples. Lovely breakfast and you are surrounded by 500 year old olive trees ! Plus you can walk to the best restaurant “II Re di Girgenti” which has superb food and view !

Så fort vi körde genom den privata grinden in på gården och parkerat bilen precis intill deras privata citronträd, kommer hotellets ägare och hälsar oss välkomna. Vi var nästan 2 timmar tidiga men det var inga problem att checka in på rummet tidigare. Rummet vi fick hade en fantastisk utsikt över tempeldalen och som fortsatte ner mot havet och horisonten. Terrassen som tillhörde rummet var stor och en skönhet i sig. Efter att vi hade gjort vårt besök på tempeldalen frågade vi om det fanns möjlighet att bada i deras bubbelpool som låg välplacerat för kvällssolen och vi fick ett fantastiskt avslut på den dagen. Det enda vi klagade på efter att vi lämnade boendet var att vi inte stannade här fler nätter. Hotellets område är precis så jag har tänkt mig att ett Sicilianskt boende ska se ut. Service från personalen var över all förväntan och hela stämningen kändes intimt och familjärt på ett helt naturligt sätt. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende om du ska till Agrigento.

On the property grounds there are orange and almonds orchard. Breakfast area in the garden overlooks the temples which glow in the warm light. Has the vibe of a Tuscan Villa, Breakfast is rich, and Pietro, the owner, is hospitable and a pleasure to interact with. Kids are entertained by the six or so cats.

Villa La Lumia B&B Suites & Apartments is a beautiful property overlooking the ancient Greek ruins. Easy to walk to the museum and park entrance. The rooms are clean and beautiful! We dined here for dinner and breakfast and truly the best meals so far on our trip around Sicily! So fresh and homemade! The only glitch was GPS -Maps on arrival. It was taking us to a back entrance luckily good signage to see from road. They do have a nice car park on property. We definitely recommend staying here!

La lumia anbefales på det varmeste. Vi ble godt tatt i mot og under hele oppholdet på 3 dager. Rommet var stort og helt greit. Litt harde senger. Uteområdet var hyggelig med oliven, lime og sitrontrær rett ved. 4 små bassenger og solsenger. Vi var så heldige at de sjarmerende onklene til eieren laget 5 retters middag 2 av dagene. Dette var virkelig høydepunktet på oppholdet. Ellers var det flott utsikt var tempeldalen og noen av templene. Kun 20 min gå til hovedinngangen.

Our stay at this hotel in Agrigento was nothing short of extraordinary. The view of the Valley of the Temples from the hotel is truly iconic—something you’ll remember forever. The staff went above and beyond, providing excellent recommendations for dining in town and guiding us on how to best explore the Valley. One of the highlights of our stay was spending the evening in the spa, sipping on a spritz while gazing out at the temples. It was a deeply memorable and humbling experience that will stay with me forever. At night, we enjoyed stargazing from our patio, surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere that left us feeling refreshed and ready for the next day. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

This was a last minute booking to stay in the area after seeing the temples. It is right next door and you can view the temples lit up from the patio and it is tranquil and beautiful. The accommodations are also very beautiful and very clean. Great AC. Very comfortable beds. The family that runs it is so welcoming and helpful too. Wish we could stay longer. Food was great as well.

Amazing grounds with THOUSAND year old olive trees and citrus. Easily walkable to The Valley of the Temples, so no need to move your car. Several very good restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are clean and solid 3 star (not elegant but adequate.)

Located in the lovely quiet countryside which is easy to access and a great proximity to Valley Of the Temples and Museum as opposed to staying in busy Agrigento where parking is difficult to find. Lovely grounds, with nice views. Our room was quiet, large and very clean. Breakfast had a nice selection of pastries, protein, cheese, eggs, yogurt & fruit. We definitely recommend without hesitation.

Brilliant location, within walking distance of the Valley of the Temples. Wonderful accommodation with really lovely and welcoming owners. We stayed in the panoramic suite which is much larger than the photos show and was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant which doesn't offer a choice of food, but what they have prepared - perfect for us but not for anyone with allergies or fussiness. I can't recommend this place more highly and will definitely be returning and will stay longer.

We enjoyed our time here. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and location convenient. Breakfast was very good and served on the sunny terrace. We took advantage of a dinner prepared by the on-site chef. We had no regrets. The dinner was generous and well prepared. All the staff were eager to help in any way they could. One small negative about our stay - the hot water supply was a bit erratic.

Luigi and employees were friendly and respectful and made us feel right at home. We had dinner both nights and breakfast as well which was included. The dinner’s were delicious and the patio is lovely. Be sure to keep some Euros to pay for dinner on checkout. The rooms were nice - watch out for low ceilings! Perfect spot to visit the Ruins! Would love to return some day !

We had a lovely apartment with a terrace overlooking the citrus grove and the Valley of the Temples and the sea in the distance. Breakfast was delightful, served outdoors under the olive trees. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy all that Agrigento has to offer.

Lovely accommodations. Everyone was very helpful and gracious. The room was beautiful with an amazing view. We loved the dogs and cats. Great restaurants within walking distance and the valley of the temples was an easy walk away as well.

Perfect home base to explore the Valley of the Temples. It is literally 1 minute by car or around a 12 minute walk. Loved the change of pace vs other Sicilian towns/accomodations. We stayed in a family villa/apartment and it was huge for our family of 4. My kids and wife loved the breakfast. They felt it was “homemade” vs the commercial breakfast we had been having at other hotels. The hosts and staff were amazing and very friendly.
Perfect home base to explore the Valley of the Temples. It is literally 1 minute by car or around a 12 minute walk. Loved the change of pace vs other Sicilian towns/accomodations. We stayed in a family villa/apartment and it was huge for our family of 4. My kids and wife loved the breakfast. They felt it was “homemade” vs the commercial breakfast we had been having at other hotels. The hosts and staff were amazing and very friendly.

Amazing B & B in a beautiful location, surrounded by views of the temples and great gardens. Our room had everything we needed and a huge balcony over looking the gardens. Host gave us great recommendations for dinners and helped with reservations. Breakfast was served on the terrace under the olive tree. This is a gem of a place and is worth the stay!

Located in the lovely quiet countryside which is easy to access and a great proximity to Valley Of the Temples and Museum as opposed to staying in busy Agrigento where parking is difficult to find. Lovely grounds, with nice views. Our room was quiet, large and very clean. Breakfast had a nice selection of pastries, protein, cheese, eggs, yogurt & fruit. We definitely recommend without hesitation.

We loved being so close to the Valley of the Temples - you can see some of the temples from the property. We had the 1 bedroom condo; the sofa sleeper was not very comfy. But other than that, the place was great! And the location simply glorious!

This was a last minute booking to stay in the area after seeing the temples. It is right next door and you can view the temples lit up from the patio and it is tranquil and beautiful. The accommodations are also very beautiful and very clean. Great AC. Very comfortable beds. The family that runs it is so welcoming and helpful too. Wish we could stay longer. Food was great as well.

Så fort vi körde genom den privata grinden in på gården och parkerat bilen precis intill deras privata citronträd, kommer hotellets ägare och hälsar oss välkomna. Vi var nästan 2 timmar tidiga men det var inga problem att checka in på rummet tidigare. Rummet vi fick hade en fantastisk utsikt över tempeldalen och som fortsatte ner mot havet och horisonten. Terrassen som tillhörde rummet var stor och en skönhet i sig. Efter att vi hade gjort vårt besök på tempeldalen frågade vi om det fanns möjlighet att bada i deras bubbelpool som låg välplacerat för kvällssolen och vi fick ett fantastiskt avslut på den dagen. Det enda vi klagade på efter att vi lämnade boendet var att vi inte stannade här fler nätter. Hotellets område är precis så jag har tänkt mig att ett Sicilianskt boende ska se ut. Service från personalen var över all förväntan och hela stämningen kändes intimt och familjärt på ett helt naturligt sätt. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende om du ska till Agrigento.

This is an unbelievably beautiful place to stay in Agrigento. It was near town but so private and unbelievable views of the Temples and the Sea. The family that ran it were so lovely and welcoming. Amazing breakfast! Owner booked dinner reservations at a lovely restaurant for us. Only regret was not staying longer. Treat yourself to the hidden GEM!!

Perfect home base to explore the Valley of the Temples. It is literally 1 minute by car or around a 12 minute walk. Loved the change of pace vs other Sicilian towns/accomodations. We stayed in a family villa/apartment and it was huge for our family of 4. My kids and wife loved the breakfast. They felt it was “homemade” vs the commercial breakfast we had been having at other hotels. The hosts and staff were amazing and very friendly.

Amazing B & B in a beautiful location, surrounded by views of the temples and great gardens. Our room had everything we needed and a huge balcony over looking the gardens. Host gave us great recommendations for dinners and helped with reservations. Breakfast was served on the terrace under the olive tree. This is a gem of a place and is worth the stay!

This is a family-owned and ran B&B on a gorgeous piece of land. We had magnificent views from our patio looking down toward the archeological park and monuments and further below, the water. The property is beautiful and is the perfect place for tranquility. The staff is friendly and helpful, although I struggled a little with my inability to speak better Italian! I had to use my translator app a few times. You can walk to the archeological park from the property (but you might want to take a cab instead of walking uphill on your way back). We didn't have a car, so it was a little difficult trying to figure out how to get into the city center area for dining and shopping.

Amazing grounds with THOUSAND year old olive trees and citrus. Easily walkable to The Valley of the Temples, so no need to move your car. Several very good restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are clean and solid 3 star (not elegant but adequate.)

Villa La Lumia B&B Suites & Apartments is a beautiful property overlooking the ancient Greek ruins. Easy to walk to the museum and park entrance. The rooms are clean and beautiful! We dined here for dinner and breakfast and truly the best meals so far on our trip around Sicily! So fresh and homemade! The only glitch was GPS -Maps on arrival. It was taking us to a back entrance luckily good signage to see from road. They do have a nice car park on property. We definitely recommend staying here!

If you have a car, everything is nearby, but it can be a little far if you go on foot. However, the property is beautiful, and the view of the temples is worth dying for. The breakfast and housing were lovely, very nice and clean. The service was excellent, too. The owner was always available and very pleasant to speak with.

A great location with beautiful views at of the temples at night. A family run operation and all of the employees take great pride in serving their customers. The evening dinner was fantastic, with great variety featuring typical Sicilian fare. Breakfast outside was very good and the resident cats and dog were very entertaining!

Luigi and employees were friendly and respectful and made us feel right at home. We had dinner both nights and breakfast as well which was included. The dinner’s were delicious and the patio is lovely. Be sure to keep some Euros to pay for dinner on checkout. The rooms were nice - watch out for low ceilings! Perfect spot to visit the Ruins! Would love to return some day !

On the property grounds there are orange and almonds orchard. Breakfast area in the garden overlooks the temples which glow in the warm light. Has the vibe of a Tuscan Villa, Breakfast is rich, and Pietro, the owner, is hospitable and a pleasure to interact with. Kids are entertained by the six or so cats.

Brilliant location, within walking distance of the Valley of the Temples. Wonderful accommodation with really lovely and welcoming owners. We stayed in the panoramic suite which is much larger than the photos show and was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant which doesn't offer a choice of food, but what they have prepared - perfect for us but not for anyone with allergies or fussiness. I can't recommend this place more highly and will definitely be returning and will stay longer.

We checked in to find ants in the dining area (which staff did clear away) and, more alarmingly, a large wasp nest right by our room's entrance. Staff said we were "unlucky," and the wasps stayed out. The outdoor breakfast area was also full of wasps and flies over the food. We stayed one night.
