All employees great. Two choices of breakfast. Pool seemed to be cloudy so didnt swim in it. Close to beach. Beds need to be replaced as one of our beds was just springs. Good water pressure and hot water It is old and needs some updates but for value, it is a good deal. TV was not in room. Seemed to be missing. If you are in a bottom unit and there are units above, it is noisy with people thumping on the ground. Wooden structure mostly. Everyone very friendly. Would stay again. Just on no one above.

El sitio normal, elegimos la opción de habitación triple con aire acondicionado. Muy sencilla, creo que le falta mantenimiento al lugar en general. La cocina estaba mal equipada y le faltaba bastante higiene. Tienen una piscina muy bonita y el personal fue muy amable y nos ayudó en resolver las dudas que planteamos.

Location and price were good but everything else needs improvement. We booked based on positive reviews but didn’t enjoy many things. The room was tiny, with shared bathroom. No soap in bathroom. Dirty pool. Smelly common areas. Basic breakfast. Slow internet. Congo monkeys were a surprise.

The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the free tea and coffee and the breakfast was filling. The air conditioning in the room chilled.it quickly. Only concern was that the building work on it started early in the morning. From an 8 year old: I loved the pool so much.

This hotel was very basic but very nice and served the purpose for the price. The rooms were big and clean. There was hot water, which we found out was not common everywhere in Costa Rica. The property was beautiful and the staff was very nice and accommodating. I needed a hair dryer and the girl at the reception gave me hers to use. That was super nice! We asked for blankets since it got chilly with the AC and they provided us with them. Anything we needed and asked for was given to us! Breakfast options were limited but delicious, so no complains there. The hotel was only a block away from the beach and we walked everywhere. Overall, we had very good experience and were glad we stayed there!

Deseable que el baño compartido, tenga limpieza de ducha despues de uso de los huespedes de 4 habitaciones y que personal de servio no use mismo. Asi como los huspedes no dejen sus articulos de higiene personal en dispositivos de la ducha. La pagina de reserva que utilize tenia fotos no acordes a la habitacion y no indicaba que baño es compartido. Habitacion poco ventilada y muy humeda. Desayuno no es mejor, un miembro de la familia resulto intoxicado, se puede mejorar. Area comunes y piscina agradables

The place is ok - it is fairly close to the beach. Make sure to note that it is a two star hotel - so make sure your expectations are 2 star. The shower worked fine and the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice. Also Samara beach is not bad - but this is NOT a must visit destination

Had a great time at Pension Playa Samara. The accommodations was very comfortable and the beds were great. The hotel is one block from the beach with awesome restaurants all in walking distance.

Chilled out spot popular with Ticos easy 5 min walk from the beach. Made up of private accommodations but definitely has more of a hostel vibe. Rooms are pretty rustic with thin walls and shades on only some of the windows. Door lacked a deadbolt. Only had a twist lock on the knob so didn’t feel terribly secure. Staff were friendly. Street parking is easy and there is an excellent restaurant right around the corner with solid breakfast and dinner options.

Excellent value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Apologetic for construction to repair apparent storm damage. Will definitely be coming back to stay again for a longer stretch. Very close to beach and downtown.

This is a lovely inexpensive place to stay in Samara. It is only a block away from the beach and close to everything, but quiet and safe. Breakfast is included, which is convenient. Ryan was very helpful in answering all our questions and finding information for us.

This hotel was very basic but very nice and served the purpose for the price. The rooms were big and clean. There was hot water, which we found out was not common everywhere in Costa Rica. The property was beautiful and the staff was very nice and accommodating. I needed a hair dryer and the girl at the reception gave me hers to use. That was super nice! We asked for blankets since it got chilly with the AC and they provided us with them. Anything we needed and asked for was given to us! Breakfast options were limited but delicious, so no complains there. The hotel was only a block away from the beach and we walked everywhere. Overall, we had very good experience and were glad we stayed there!

The place is ok - it is fairly close to the beach. Make sure to note that it is a two star hotel - so make sure your expectations are 2 star. The shower worked fine and the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice. Also Samara beach is not bad - but this is NOT a must visit destination

Had a great time at Pension Playa Samara. The accommodations was very comfortable and the beds were great. The hotel is one block from the beach with awesome restaurants all in walking distance.

The hotel is in the quieter side of Samara, yet close to the beach and to restaurants. It has a casual atmosphere. The weekly market is directly behind the hotel, a grocery store is a block away and there’s a great soda(Mister Warners) and seafood restaurant (Malibu) less than a 2 minute walk away.

The hotel has basic accommodations, but the staff was excellent especially Keidy and Juan. Lots of excursions to choose from which can be booked from the hotel. The breakfast was tasty and helped start the day right. Just a five minute walk from the beach and close to many restaurants. Restaurants are pricey, but there are lots of choices. A pizza will run you $20 USD. Will definitely be back.

All employees great. Two choices of breakfast. Pool seemed to be cloudy so didnt swim in it. Close to beach. Beds need to be replaced as one of our beds was just springs. Good water pressure and hot water It is old and needs some updates but for value, it is a good deal. TV was not in room. Seemed to be missing. If you are in a bottom unit and there are units above, it is noisy with people thumping on the ground. Wooden structure mostly. Everyone very friendly. Would stay again. Just on no one above.

Deseable que el baño compartido, tenga limpieza de ducha despues de uso de los huespedes de 4 habitaciones y que personal de servio no use mismo. Asi como los huspedes no dejen sus articulos de higiene personal en dispositivos de la ducha. La pagina de reserva que utilize tenia fotos no acordes a la habitacion y no indicaba que baño es compartido. Habitacion poco ventilada y muy humeda. Desayuno no es mejor, un miembro de la familia resulto intoxicado, se puede mejorar. Area comunes y piscina agradables

C’est un bel endroit tranquille et abordable. Le personnel est très gentil. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un moment de bonheur à chaque matin. Café gratuit disponible toute la journée. Petit service de bar et autres boissons sur place. Environ 5 min à pied de la plage et de presque tous les restos et commerces.
