Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are outdated. Bed was comfy. Carpets, chair, lamp shade and other furniture was stained. Breakfast was very limited and the kitchen they prepare the food in is right beside the tables so you can see all the food being handled and EVERYTHING being microwaved. Would not recommend for the astronomical price we paid.

We liked the convenience to amenities. The staff was great. The hotel needs renovations. The chair in our room had stains on both sides of the cushions. The bathroom was clean, but small. The mattress was very soft and likely needs replacing.

We weren’t expecting much in Ponoka but the room was not clean when we checked in. The tile et the room entrance was sticky and needed cleaning. We cleaned it and the bathroom floor ourselves.

We booked for two nights, everything was perfect except the reception was not so friendly. They ask us if we want to register for room cleaning the next day and we gladly said 'Oh cool... sure' and they screwed up as they did not clean our room. I wish they did not ask as we will just inform the cleaning lady outside in the hallway and will not rely on front desk people. Breakfast is good, strong wi-fi, very comfortable bed, pillows and blanket. The shower pressure is perfect and the hotel surroundings is clean and spacious. There is an A&W fast food attached to the hotel building which is a huge bonus if you are hungry and want a quick snack or meal and a gasoline station with a convenience store at the front of the hotel. It is a perfect location!

Our air conditioning didn’t kick in until the morning we were checking out. We were so busy didn’t have a chance to inquire about it. The hotel is far enough from the stampede not to noisy but close enough to get to. This was very nice. Staff was very nice and rooms were very clean.

had a room over the front entrance. Loud party outsidce at 4 am with music blaring from a vehicle and people yelling. did not seem there was any attempt by staff to put a stop to it. walls thin and can hear taling, yelling in halls and rooms. Not worth the price charged

The front desk lady upon checkin was very short and did not seem to want to explain why the pool was closed. I booked this hotel for the pool only to be disappointed that it was not open. The breakfast was not very great and the attendant was very slow in refilling the hot food. They stopped filling the juice so it came out as water, then at 9 said that they would not put out more waffle mix due to it closing at 9:30. It was very busy and the staff just played on his phone! should have been maintained better!

Staff at this hotel were obliging and friendly. We liked the comfortable beds and fresh smelling sheets. The hot breakfast was amazing! Scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, muffins, bagels, toast, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices and coffee every day! Coin laundry on site. Wonderful stay. Will go back!
