The pool is the crown jewel of the resort. It’s sat in the middle of the property with all rooms surrounding/facing it. The pool was where myself and my party mostly stayed as it was large, had seating in the water and was clean. The pool cabana bar with drinks was also a nice touch. I felt very safe staying here despite being somewhat outside of Puerto Peñasco proper. The resort is right on the main road leading into the city so it’s not a dealbreaker though. For the price, the comfort is also great. The beds were big and not uncomfortably hard like some hotel beds can be. The staff was also readily available whenever I had questions prior to staying as well. I would absolutely return and recommend this place to others. Thank you!

Guarded entrance, wheelchair accessible, clean room, clean grounds, very nice pool, comfortable beds, good water pressure. Biggest complaint is pictured was a kitchenette and the room did not have one. Not sure if we went during off season, but the poolside bar was not open.

El area muy bien, muy tranquila, mucho espacio, el unico PERO que podria tener es el hecho de que estaria mucho mejor si estuvieran mas al pendiente con la limpieza de la alberca, por la temporada hay variedad de insectos, y algunos caen en la alberca. Y si es un poco desagradable que andas en la alberca y hay insectos flotando.

The place is so beautiful. The staff was courteous and helpful. I was extremely impressed with how clean it was… the moment I entered the room, it smelled refreshing and fluorescent. Will definitely recommend and book again. Shout out to the gardening staff that let us use the private jacuzzi.

I love that it’s a chill little resort with not many people, very relaxing. The staff were amazing. The room was clean. The pool was a little dirty with bugs, there was no hot water in the shower, the WiFi was slow. Overall, an amazing place to stay. Highly recommended :)

Al registrarme, no se me explicó la metodología, para solicitar el servicio de limpieza en la habitación, por tanto un día no se aseó, ni se cambiaron toallas, ni ropa de cama, ni se dejó agua. Salvo esto Excelente trato y servicio.

Took us about 30+mins to find the place. No Logo Name for the hotel. And although the gentleman on phone was very nice, still took us a while to find the place. The address on Hotels.com website is NOT the corresponding one from the actual place. Once we got there, the Lady at the reception said she didn’t have our reservation information and that it would be about 10-15 to get our room. She was very apologetic and explained the place was under renovations. Which we understood, but were not expecting Come night time we had NO HOT water, and by the next morning, NO WATER at all. We couldn’t take showers, or even use the sink to wash our hands let alone a flushing toilet. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED, the place was Beautiful, but doesn’t compensate not having even the basics as water. Wished this place was NOT taking reservations until remodeled was completed. For the price I payed, we could’ve At least had running water. VERY Dissatisfied Customer

We stay there for 4 nights, it was very good, our kids love it. There was no food at hotel even fridge in the room, we had to buy ice every morning and evening and keep water bottles in our cooler. It took time for us use the store all the time. Also it was very small table in the room and not night stands beside the beds. Rest of all was wonderfull.

Beautiful property, felt very secure especially parking and security at the property gate. Bed was very comfortable and hacienda design was so aesthetically pleasing. Clean pool and friendly staff. Room was spacious but no fridge recommend taking cooler.. and no safe.

Amazing place to take the kids everybody is super friendly. It’s super safe and clean. Will definitely stay again. Just 15 minutes from the beach five minutes away from everything we needed super spacious room two king beds. You open your door and the pool is right there. What more can you need with three little kids pool is clean and warm.

Amazing stay! WiFi is a bit wonky, and our stay was during the off-season so the restaurant was closed, but I am amazed with the staff. We felt very safe with the gate security there, and the rooms were very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

This place is perfect if you are traveling with your wife and kids. My kids loved the pool and the amenities. The gate guards made things feel very safe and the service was very friendly. I’m definitely bringing back my family next time, and the price was very reasonable. Very happy for our experience!

Under preparation to reopen. Shouldn’t have been open yet. No food, no bar, no English anywhere. Ended up not staying at all. No English so don’t think I will get any of that money back. Too bad, beautiful grounds

My family and I love this place, staff and management are awesome always there at your every need and going above and beyond to make your stay relaxing. You are away from the beach it’s about a 10-15 minute drive but very well worth it if you are not trying stay in the party seen that Rocky point offers. This is my second time staying here and we enjoy it very much, the kiddos get to enjoy the swimming pool after they’ve had a long day at the beach. This place is very secure so it makes us feel at ease. Rooms, lobby and in general the whole place is very clean. They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing the area so it makes it even more enjoyable. I am very impressed and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Hotel Hacienda Monarcas for the hospitality.

First time staying here, loved the pool area! Just would of been nice if they were serving drinks and food, also it would be convenient to have had a mini fridge in our room, but besides that it was a pleasant stay, family really enjoyed it.

First time staying here, loved the pool area! Just would of been nice if they were serving drinks and food, also it would be convenient to have had a mini fridge in our room, but besides that it was a pleasant stay, family really enjoyed it.

Beautiful property, felt very secure especially parking and security at the property gate. Bed was very comfortable and hacienda design was so aesthetically pleasing. Clean pool and friendly staff. Room was spacious but no fridge recommend taking cooler.. and no safe.

Amazing place to take the kids everybody is super friendly. It’s super safe and clean. Will definitely stay again. Just 15 minutes from the beach five minutes away from everything we needed super spacious room two king beds. You open your door and the pool is right there. What more can you need with three little kids pool is clean and warm.

Very nice place to stay, a little far from center but still nice. If anything needs to improve... I would say, needs a restaurant asap. Would I pick this place again? Yes! Thank you to all staff members, you guys are awesome!

Property was at a great location, sams club was 3 min or so away and so was little Cesars. I dont know about anyone else but mu kids love some cheesy breads from it. Everything else was around 10-15 min from Hotel. The Malecon, Playa Bonita, Lolita's restairant etc. I stood at a king size room with 2 king size bed and the room was very spacious! The bed was very comfortable, Alma and Craig were very curtious and helpful and were very accommodating of my needs. Craig communicated with me when i was both in US and Mexico! Alma was only a call away if i needed anything. Overall i would recommend this place, the pool and seating area's was excellent. Hotel was very clean and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. No complains at all

The pool is the crown jewel of the resort. It’s sat in the middle of the property with all rooms surrounding/facing it. The pool was where myself and my party mostly stayed as it was large, had seating in the water and was clean. The pool cabana bar with drinks was also a nice touch. I felt very safe staying here despite being somewhat outside of Puerto Peñasco proper. The resort is right on the main road leading into the city so it’s not a dealbreaker though. For the price, the comfort is also great. The beds were big and not uncomfortably hard like some hotel beds can be. The staff was also readily available whenever I had questions prior to staying as well. I would absolutely return and recommend this place to others. Thank you!

No service at reception for hair dryer, a towel or anything else no one is ever there and they don’t answer when you call. It’s outside of the entrance of peñasco which was a huge bummer.

My family and I love this place, staff and management are awesome always there at your every need and going above and beyond to make your stay relaxing. You are away from the beach it’s about a 10-15 minute drive but very well worth it if you are not trying stay in the party seen that Rocky point offers. This is my second time staying here and we enjoy it very much, the kiddos get to enjoy the swimming pool after they’ve had a long day at the beach. This place is very secure so it makes us feel at ease. Rooms, lobby and in general the whole place is very clean. They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing the area so it makes it even more enjoyable. I am very impressed and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Hotel Hacienda Monarcas for the hospitality.

While the property was clean, with spacious rooms and a beautiful pool, several of the mentioned amenities - made to order breakfast, bar etc - were non existent. But the hotel management was gracious to refund part of the payment when we complained about these missing facilities.

Guarded entrance, wheelchair accessible, clean room, clean grounds, very nice pool, comfortable beds, good water pressure. Biggest complaint is pictured was a kitchenette and the room did not have one. Not sure if we went during off season, but the poolside bar was not open.

Room was nice, clean and spacious with 2 ceiling fans and air conditioner. Basic amenities included but wish they have tissue box and face towels. Would also be nice if they have a mini fridge to keep our drinks cold. We had to buy a cooler with ice for our drinks since it was so hot. Pool and jacuzzi was clean and nice. Location was not too bad since it was quiet away from the crowd and only about 15 minutes drive to the beach. Overall, we had a fantastic and relaxing trip!

This is a smaller resort compared to other ones that are very popular. But I kid you not this was the better option for us it was such a wonderful stay. The property was well maintained, the staff was great and very friendly, The room was beautiful with the hacienda vibe, and the free breakfast was amazing. And don't even get me started with the pool slide and jacuzzi. Everything about this place was amazing especially how everything we wanted to do was only 15-20min drive! I will definitely be booking again and brining my kids next time! 10/10
