Nice for a short stay. Staff was friendly. Room was okay. Location was convenient across from a small market and quirky restaurants. Specifically chose the room with an air conditioner but the air conditioner unit vibrated the wall so loud that it was impossible to sleep. Debris from the tree above would also fall onto the tin roof very loudly.

We stayed at The Village Lodge in Storms River for one night. As a lodge, the facilities are fairly basic, but the room itself was spacious and comfortable enough for a short stay. It wasn’t super clean, but given that we were only there for one night, it was manageable. Overall, it was fine for a brief stopover in Storms River.
